Very close to the papal palace and friendly staff. Perfect for my purposes. To get there from the train station, follow Rue de la République to Rue Favart/Rue Carnot rather then do as I did and follow the GPS. The GPS will take you through a rabbit warren of medieval alleys with poor GPS reception.

A cone balancing on its tip is more stable than the Wi-Fi; super slow and frequent disconnects, forget about syncing you photos to e.g. iCloud overnight.

Beautiful! Undergoing a complete renovation but it was handled wonderfully. We only heard construction noise one morning very briefly. The staff were charming and helpful- made great suggestions for using our time wisely and for amazing dining choices! The location was very convenient (easy walk) to all the local attractions.

Nothing- It was perfect! However there was no lift, which wasn’t a problem for us, but might be difficult for some and it wasn’t noted on the description. And the staff were very willing to assist with bags for those who needed help.

Position is great, in the city center. Historical building, very nice common areas. Staff very welcoming. A bottle of water in the room was for free, really appreciated due to the external temperatures.

Internet only if you log in by your email. Room not well maintained and furnished, no insonorisation at all. Hairdryer was not working well (sparks when I've tried it, not used at all then). Even if nothing went wrong, I don't know if I would stay there again.

What a find!! Great location so close to all the sites yet quiet at night, friendly staff, and brilliant sized room for a family. Nice and clean, with lovely smelling bathroom toiletries. We only stayed for two nights but were asked if we wanted our towels changed after the first night!- which was handy as the bath matt was rather wet from the shower. We all agreed we would stay here again!

Not a problem particularly, but it was an open sided shower (no curtain or screen) and the shower head was hard to direct - which did make the floor rather wet. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hôtel Le Médiéval Palais des Papes, nestled among historic buildings. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the main attractions. Our room was well-appointed, clean, and comfortable. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating, making our stay even better.

If you are an older traveller you might like to request a room on the lower floors as there are no stairs however, I believe an elevator is in the pipeline.

The front desk lady, who has been working for the owners for many many years was a wonderful help. She call a cab for me and kept me company while I waited for it to arrive. They are lucky to have such an enthusiastic, friendly and capable employee.

We were given a recently remodeled room which was exceptional. Location was terrific and just far away from the busy areas. But only a few minutes walk from the Palais des Papas. Staff were great as they gave us terrific restaurant recommendations and told us to take a trip to Arles (18 minute train ride). Wonderful little town.

Central and a good sized room. Very friendly and accommodating staff despite our lack of French language. Lots of places near the hotel to get a good coffee in the morning. we were on the top floor so the steps were a good workout up and down. Windows that open also a plus.....fresh air is nice.

Bath/shower combination is not our choice. Not much else to mention. We were happy with the hotel.

A very quiet, peaceful location but central to good bars & restaurants in the area, all in the old part of town. Easy access to main sites. All amenities within walking distance. Staff were really friendly. Breakfast in the outdoor area was delightful & relaxed. Our room was beautifully maintained & cleaned in a most unobtrusive manner. We were given advance warning about the stairs & lack of a lift to our room. This was greatly appreciated.

Since we stayed on the top floor, a down-stairs toilet would have been appreciated.
