During my visit to Parque Tayrona I was injured in an accident and Carlos treated me like a family member, helping me up and down the stairs, making extra meals and in many other ways. He only speaks Spanish so I enjoyed practicing my Spanish. He's the best thing about the place! The breakfast was very good and traditional. Even with the noise from outside, I slept fine with earplugs. The bathroom was very new although some of the other furniture seemed a little dated. Other guests that I met there were very nice people.

The noise is quite intense in that area until 3am. It's right in the middle of many bars and restaurants. Next time I might prefer a place a little more removed from the action, but I still slept OK with earplugs.

Very close to all the restaurants and sites of the colonial center. Staff was kind and helpful. Room was clean and breakfast delicious!

This hotel is very close to nightlife (good) so if you are an early to bed type and sensitive to the sounds of late night revelers you may want to ask for an interior room and/or use ear plugs. I almost always sleep with earplugs and my wife isn’t bothered much, even with a room on the front street side we were very comfortable…even going to bed early:-)

The hotel is located in a great area, near to the Parque de los Novios, the Malecón and de historic center. It was very calm and quiet, that is why it is a good place to rest. The hotel have hot and cold water. Mrs Carlos was very kind, and he keep our backpacks while we went to have lunch. The hotel have a good view in the terrace.

The room is not very modern, we couldn't open the window because then we would lost all privacy since the only window was in front off the common area. Unfortunately the breakfast was not included.

Staff are wonderful. So friendly, accommodating and very helpful and understanding. The little pool was great. Nice to have a dip after a hot day in Santa Marta. Breakfast was excellent. Beds very comfortable. Good Aircon. Handy location for bars and restaurants (but see below!), Right next to parque de los novios. Very clean. Good showers. Nice decent sized rooms. Huge bed!!

So. Yes, the hotel location is handy. But, if you don’t have ear plugs (I actually slept with noise cancelling headphones playing ‘brown’ noise), you will struggle to get to sleep. So go prepared! The music and noise from the surrounding streets was (especially on the Monday night) almost unbearable. I’m only saying this in the interests of honesty. Although it’s a great hotel with wonderful staff, you will definitely have a lot of noise which may bother you.

Nice appartments, two good sleeping rooms - one with a big bed, another with a smaller bed., Two (!) good warm showers two bathrooms, good aircondition and very clean, Interesting architecture, nice view on city at the top.

Location is good for people that like to join the party around, there are clubs directly around the locations, so it´s noisy at night.

Highly Recommended: Comfortable and neat. Great rooms with large comfortable beds, spotless bathrooms with showers and hot water. All the facilities are very well cared for, service with staff at all times, Carlos, Rosi, Adriana always attentive. Perfect pool a great jacuzzi. You would not get a hotel with this service, staff, location and cleanliness at this price anywhere. I would return a thousand times

The best hotel we stayed in during our month in Columbia. Free cold drinks on arrival. Cool plunge pool when humidity was too much. exceptionally polite and helpful staff. We could check in early and have a shower whilst we waited for our room to be ready. comfortable good size rooms. superb breakfast. hammock on the roof. perfect location in centre of town next to bars and restaurants.

As the hotel is practically next to the most visited street in Santa Marta, the loud music at night is disturbing. Of course, this is a rather relative opinion, because if I were younger we would probably have had fun on this street.

Some rooms have very small windows. It didn’t bother us because the AC works very well so we slept perfectly, and we were walking around.
