Very clean. Comfortable. Lots of hangers in the wardrobe. Got most of what you you need for a short stay. Remember your soap/shower gel though as this isn't provided though we didn't expect it to be, and there are shops nearby. Lovely smelling hand soap in the bathroom though. The location is good. There's plenty of pubs, restaurants/cafes and convenience stores. No on site parking but it was relatively easy to park nearby. Didn't hear anything from the adjacent pub. Lovely church bells ringing on the Sunday morning.

It's not a case of not liking, just our observations.....the bathroom is big, but the shower cubicle is small. I think bigger cubicles would have been better. The tv on the wall is quite small in comparison to the wall. Maybe a chest of drawers or a table near the wardrobe as there's a lovely big mirror but would have liked somewhere to do my hair. As I say, it's really not a criticism, just personal preference.

Lovely little apartment as you can see by the photo. Local on street parking and good communication from the host.

We had checked the reviews as knew it was in a pub car park and saw one saying the music went off my 12pm. I thought that’s reasonable and booked the stay. However, this was not the case. We were still awake at 2am from the load karaoke and music so was disappointed and tired having to check out by 10am which we also knew about but didn’t expect the noise. A couple of seats would be lovely which someone has already mentioned which you are sorting.

This was a great alternative to finding accommodation in Holmfirth centre which works out cheaper and better availability. Particularly useful if you're planning on seeing a gig at the Picturedrome, this is a great location for planning your itinerary around that. Less than 4 miles from Holmfirth and less than £10 taxi fare which is easy to book with the recommended local firm (who were very reliable). There's plenty of unrestricted street parking near the Swans Nest also. Very straightforward checking in and out plus out of hours keycode access giving flexibility and peace of mind.

There wasn't anything really to dislike.

Well appointed in the center of the village near food shops restaurants and takeaways the village has good parking near the rooms which is much better than the neighbouring village of Holmfirth friendly pubs a few meters away we were attending a wedding at a nearby farm

cooking facilities were a microwave no hot plate it was OK as we were only there for 3 nights and one of them was at the wedding if we had been there for a week might have wanted to cook our evening meal as the village has some very good traditional butchers

Very clean and well equipped with a comfortable bed. Convenient self-check-in and out. Free wi-fi which was much appreciated. Extremely helpful and obliging owner.

The toilet (we think it's a modern 'water-saver') was a nightmare as it would not flush toilet roll...you had to hope it would dissolve after multiple flushes which seemed to defeat the object! There is no parking on site unless disabled which was not obvious when the website indicated the location had parking. There is free parking nearby though.

Tucked away from the main road within walking distance of a free 72 hour car park it was perfect for our needs. Clean with kitchen facility with complementary tea/coffee it completely met our needs. The bed was really comfy & the temperature perfect. It's a great base for getting to Holmfirth Picturehouse.

I'm basically a vampire & need total darkness to be able to sleep. Having only blinds at the window could have been a problem but having brought my blackout shawl for my eyes it wasn't an issue. There is movement triggered lights outside that flood the room so ensure you take adequate eye masks. Otherwi

Only one night as we had two in Holmfirth town before hand but what a delight, Right opposite our entrance was a lovely traditional 'proper' West Yorkshire pub with amazing 'real' people, The Swan👍 The apartment was pristine and very open for the faster stays and get up and go-ers, But you could easily just chill out and watch Netflix with a good beverage too, Coop and Morrisons so close and lots of night eat places, It just seemed too good from the photos but as soon as we walked behind the pub we knew it was special, Kudos to it all, Highly recommend to most people🫡 .............. Just adding info on photos here, The plate of chips photo is Compos, a fab fish n chip shop just on edge of Holmfirth town and the breakfast table was at The Elephant And Castle bang in centre of Holmfirth (lovely) That Co-op photo and me and a Guiness again in Holmfirth but a smaller tidy Coop is situated a stones throw from the front of The Swan and Swans Nest👍

Not a lot, Rain...? Could hardly blame anyone for that though,

The room was clean and comfortable. The bed was very comfortable. No parking but plenty of free on street in the next road. If you don’t want to make your own breakfast we would highly recommend Lou’s place about a mile away, book though we were lucky for a walk in. Taxi into holmfirth was £8.

Only thing I’d say was could do with two bed side lamps

5 star 🌟 Clean and tidy . Bed is amazingly comfy. Shower is powerful, even had a box of toys in wardrobe just in case you have little ones to entertain .

Was a little unsure about the beer garden is attached but absolutely no issues at all very quiet, and it was all shut up when we returned that night. And on the upside of that it has a beer garden attached and they serve food through the window.
