Large clean comfortable rooms with mountain views! Great location and close to everything in the area. Run in a relaxed and casual manner as though it was family owned. Great staff; Front desk (Emily & Letisha), Housekeeping ( Corine, Jen & Letisha) and excellent General Managers (Yyube & Pooja)! Hotel is beginning to make improvements on a regular basis that will upgrade quests satisfaction.

Hotel still needs updated and upgrade both exterior and interior. Large sidewalk cracks with 3" raised lips need addressed quickly, many quest and employees have stumbled on and a bad accident waiting to happen. This hotel does 98% of things right but it is the 2% not addressed that quest notice is what they remember! Both back parking lot doors need addressed! One has not locked for over 18 months(3rd floor door) and anyone can enter hotel 24/7 and the other door is difficult to open and 99% of the time does not close automatically after entering. If quest doesn't listen or actually see door close they are unaware it stays open to anyone, quest or not, to enter at anytime??

The room was nice and I slept great. I loved greeting the dogs of other guests too! I especially liked that it didn't break the bank since all I really needed was a place to sleep for the night. Also had the most incredible view of a full rainbow with the mountains in the distance which I'll attach to my review.

The staff was very friendly, despite probably being overworked due to not having enough staff to do the amount of work needed for a hotel that size. So anyone who stays here, just have some grace. For example, I didn't have a bath towel in my room. It was no skin off my back to go down to the front desk and ask for one. There's like one person cleaning all the rooms, have some grace.

Hotel very comfortable and relaxed as though a family owned and run B&B, a real plus!!

Hotel needs upgraded and updated! All rooms need new larger 4K TV's and other major updating. Both back parking lot hotel door entrances remain unlocked day and night leaving hotel completely unsecured( 1 door can not be locked and lower door doesn't close behind quest entering 90% of the time leaving it open and unsecured)! Two major cracks in front and back sidewalk entrances with 3" lips causing many quests and employees to trip over and posing a real danger have gone without repair for 9 months??

Location is perfect for visitors & business especially for those who's interest are in the Ligonier, Latrobe Greensburg & Irwin areas. Large mall and casino less than 2 miles away and many more strip malls and restaurants all around the hotel's immediate area. Very historic area with history from the Revolutionary, 1812 & Civil wars. Mountains all around and the World's number 1 amusement & theme park( rated # 1 for 12 straight years) less than eight mile away!

Many main parking lot poll lights burned out and 2 dangerous sidewalk cracks with 3" high raised lips( that many quest have tripped on) need repaired! Rooms are outdated and need updated including much larger 4K TV's. Both doors entering hotel from back parking lot need repaired!! 3rd floor door has not locked for more than 18 months and bottom door does not automatically swing shut thus is open and unlocked 90% of the time. This leaves the hotel,rooms and quests completely unsecured and open to a multitude of real dangers!!!!!!

Exterior & interior showing clear signs of use and age & badly needs updated & upgraded!! Room TV's very small and need upgraded to new large 4K models to complete with all other area hotels that have already upgraded!

This hotel is run like a family owned operation ,that being ,friendly with a calm relaxing atmosphere. Large fenced area for dogs, if you are traveling with your pets then this hotel is the best. Guest for all district dog shows stay here!!!

Outdated exterior and interior needs badly updated! Most room still have very small screen TV's that need upgraded to Large 4K models to compete with other hotels. Many front poll parking lights burned out in front parking lot! Large cracks in sidewalks pose a significant danger of tripping over, a severe accident waiting to happen! Hotel back entrance doors broken( 1 unlocked and open to anyone, the other sticks open 90% of the time and has to be pulled shut) thus the hotel is completely unsecured and in reality unsafe!

Location and value make this the all around best hotel for both travelers and business quests in the area. Excellent free breakfast compared to all other area hotels!

Too many parking lot lights burned out. Outdated room that are dull and beginning to be rundown. Many rooms with very small TV's need upgraded to larger 65" 4K that most hotels now offer. Large cracks in front and back sidewalks that have 3" high ridges causing many quests to trip on. A very bad accident waiting to happen! Lobby could use a complete repainting. This hotel does an excellent job on 95% of all thing a good solid hotel should do but the 5% they do badly is what every quest notice! Like in every business, the points you are failing on are what is noticed the most and stay in the quest mind. The immaculate attention to detail is a must in a smaller 50 room hotel like Mountain View!

All thing considered this is the best overall value and comfort for a hotel in the area, especially if you are a dog lover!

Too many pole lights out in front main parking lot. Sidewalks need repaired due to 2"-3" high cracks at left front side door entrance and rear 3rd floor entrance. Many quests and employee have tripped on these cracks and it's a major accident waiting to happen! Rooms need updated and small TV's need replaced with much larger 4K models.

Large clean comfortable rooms. Usually quiet and well located, good breakfast. Great staff, housekeeping(Corine, Letisha, Jen), Front Desk ( Emily, Letisha, Zoey) and Management ( Pooja & Yyube). Much more comfortable that the standard chain hotels with a relaxed atmosphere.

Rooms are definitely outdated and need a make over. Most rooms still have ridiculously small TV's ( 30-40") should upgrade for the future to 65" 4K. Over 35% of parking lot poll lights burned out and dangerous sidewalk cracks before left front side door( right before left front side door) and rear 3rd floor door entrance. These cracks are almost 3" high and and anyone, young or old could easily trip over and fall!!! One washer & dryer for 50 rooms??

Many lights out once again in front parking lot. Large raised cracks in front left entrance and back third floor entrance pose a significant danger of tripping and serious injury. Rooms are definitely outdated in many ways and most rooms have ridiculously small TV's. Need another set of washers and dryers for quest, one set for 50 rooms not near enough!
