We really enjoyed our stay here at the property, the staff were friendly and attentive. Even offering to drive us to our departure location which was lovely. It’s a traditional home-style stay, tatami style rooms with futons. The beds were comfortable and clean, and the rooms were a good size, clean and came with air conditioning.

Another sink outside of the shower area would be helpful, just to brush your teeth/wash your hands while the shower room is booked.

The owner, Isotani-san, is super friendly and goes out of his way to help guests. One day he even drove us and another guest to the Udo Jingu temple and provided an airport shuttle.

The location is just out of the main part of Aoshima, but only a 10 minutes walk and set in a pleasant village on the edge of town.

Excellent experience for the Japan traditional home. Even have a big bathtub 🥹 The room is big (maybe cause I am alone) and the price is so good. I told the owner the next day I going to Aoshima when I check out, he initiatively said send me to the train station to put my luggage and give me an umbrella to let me walk to there. The place is very chill and have a nice bagel coffee shop also.

The host was amazing. He drove me to the city on my first day after asking him where the bus stop was and on my last day, he drove me to the airport and stopped at a few landmarks on the way to show me things that I might have missed before leaving

Everything was perfect. No complaints

Great area, facilities were all clean and the rooms were nice and traditional. The owner was also helpful, found me and my friend sitting on the side of the road and drove us to the station and then to the beach. The back yard area for our room was soo nice on a sunny afternoon.

Nothing was all good

It's close to beach and there's a convenience store near by. I enjoyed sleeping in the caravan but the toilet and showers are in the building next door. There are futons you can use to sleep on the floor but I slept on the sofa and it was fine for a night.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at this guesthouse. The room and futons were comfortable, and everything was impeccably clean. The owner is incredibly kind and always willing to help if needed. It’s not a luxury stay, but it’s very clean, and the value for money is excellent.

Spacious room with tatami mats. The owner and staff were very accommodating and friendly. The kitchen was equipped with anything you need. Location was within walking distance to the beach and local sites. There was a small bike to borrow if needed. We enjoyed sharing meals with other guests.

Beautiful room and area with an excellent host who even offered to bring a couple of us solo travellers to nearby hotspots. Then when I checked out to another nearby hotel, he offered and proceeded to drive me there with my luggage.

Very nice owner and staff! He gave us a ride down the coast road to Udo Jingo shrine, a beautiful location for the sunrise and to the train station. A welcoming and comfortable house with other guests from around the world. Amazing beaches within a few minutes walk.
