Dickson, TN is the closest city to the lineman training center my son was attending. This fall we stayed at the Holiday Inn Express, Comfort Inn, and Fairfield Inn. Fairfield Inn is far & away the cleanest and best of the three. Friendly, competent staff who take pride in their appearance and work. The night clerk who checked us in took an interest in us and followed up with my son the next night about how his CDL testing went (our reason for being in town—He passed!). I left my purse in the breakfast area which the staff quickly returned to me when they found it. Breakfast was great! Much better than Holiday Inn Express down the street.

This hotel is a great place to stay in Dickson. Friendly, helpful staff. Easy check-in and check-out. Nice breakfast. Rooms are quiet, clean and spacious with good amenities. Comfortable bed and nice linens. The location is good for access to downtown, restaurants, and the highway.

The friendliness of one gentle lady who was present both when I checked in and when I checked out. That made all the difference for me. I travel often across the country and I stayed in many hotels. What I have observed is that staff are friendlier when you check in than when you check out. In the case of the Fairfield in Dickson, I was delighted to have been proven wrong. I will definitely stay there again.

Staff friendliness

The food was hot, well prepared, and the attendant was very friendly but the regular coffee was very, very weak. The entire team (those that drank coffee) agree. This was surprising since the Coffee Bar was well stocked and maintained.

Clean , well lit , nicely decorated, rooms very nicely appointed. Beds comfy Easy check in and out. Staff friendly and accommodating

Too much chlorine in indoor pool. Odor was overwhelming when you walked in the pool area

All the staff was really nice people

Inside the shower did have hair in it and they close the breakfast buffet at 9:30 instead of 10:00 on Saturday

The beds were comfy and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

The pool could have been heated!!🤣. It was cold! We are gluten free and could use more choices, but not a big deal!

The breakfast was great the coffee was too weak.

I didn't like the coffee. Even the bold coffee had the look of tea. Everything else was fantastic.

Overall it was good. It seemed pretty clean and well kept.

Exhaust fan didn't work in bathroom so it was humid from showers.
