Vela be has a good location in a fine area of bangkok, you find everything you need just a walk away. BTS just 5 min away. A good breakfast was served every morning, mixing thai and european style. Very comfortable beds in a spacious room for a couple.

We notice a weird small coming from the drain of the sink or bathroom or even from the toilet. That was a bit unpleasant.

location: the street walking to hotel is awful.

The hotel is very accessible to the malls. Location is good. Rooms are very clean. We opted to let them clean our rooms everyday. So we have new clean towels everyday, new sets of bottles water. Staffs we’re very nice, kind and approachable. Not to mention miss grace who was the first receptionist to welcome us during our arrival and the other girl receptionist who assisted our needs during our last stay in the hotel. Sorry I forgot her name but she was very helpful also 😍🥰

The hotel is located near the central area, very close to the main malls in Bangkok. I recommend the rooms with a balcony, because the rest of the rooms have small windows and cannot be opened. Otherwise, the hotel is clean, the staff is friendly. Smoking is allowed only on the hotel's terrace, very well furnished with tables and chairs, but also a very comfortable sofa. Near the hotel, there is a 7 eleven store, where you can buy almost anything.

The breakfast is quite poor, but still you find food even for Europeans. Unfortunately, after 12 at night, you cannot buy a water/juice (the fridge is closed by the restaurant staff).

Location was great. Local market and eateries just minutes away from hotel. 2 nearby 7-11 to stock up on quick meals and drinks. Could have walked to siam paragon if not for the hot weather.

There are mosquitoes found in the room, but not much of an issue.

This beautifully modern hotel has done a great job with its interior design. Very well-designed spacious, contemporary rooms, communal areas, and circulation spaces that offer a really nice urban yet comfortable experience. It was super clean throughout, with nice details such as geometric furniture and raw materials. We loved the interior, it was refreshing to stay somewhere like this! The location is also amazing, in an area with a very local atmosphere, a short walking distance to Ratchathewi underground station and lots of shopping malls, restaurants, Thai massage spas, etc The extremely attentive parking guy was lovely, and the hotel staff let us leave our luggage with them for a few extra hours after check-in to collect later in the evening. Overall a very good experience and we'd definitely come back to stay here when in Bangkok!

Clean tidy nice staff and right in the hustle and bustle all the amazing food stalls near by not far from MBK and the Sky train. It was a great hotel. The breakfast was also really good.

That you don’t have a kettle in your room to make coffee ☕️ they have the facilities down stairs but on a morning I’d like to have a coffee in bed.

Cosy little room, very clean. lovely comfortable bed. Ok location 2 mins walk from 7/11 and a whole street with local market and street food. Located about 15 min walking to siam centre. its good for a few days.

Room is smaller than it looks on photo. Breakfast isn't really worth it in my opinion, as there are only a few cooked dishes on offer and those options, like stir fried macaroni, wasn't looking to good to me. However, the standard freshly cooked eggs, selection of cereals and toast was included which was fine. The swimming pool is more of a very large Jacuzzi situated in the car park.

the room was spacious and clean. the staffs were very friendly and fluent in english. The hotel's near BTS train station and it's also easy to book grab.

There's no kettle jug in the room. you need to go to the lobby to make hot drinks/intant noodles.
