The staff were friendly. Our room was clean, and well decorated. It was cold outside but the room was warm. The area for eating breakfast in the main building is well furnished, and a pleasant space. There is parking, and there were grounds for exercising our dog. We liked the countryside, and the neighbouring town of Bonneval.
There was a decent breakfast, with a wide choice of pastries. While there were fruit juices, I would have liked some fruit.

Loved being shown some of the rooms and being told about the history of the area and the chateau, which I have been looking into online since coming home. The place was clean, and sell a nice local beer which everyone should try, I will be definitely re visiting when I am down that way again
Nothing everything was fine with staff, cleanliness and nice big shower area.

Unassuming from its rural location, off the beaten track, this charming boutique hotel is understated class throughout. All bedrooms are individually decorated with their own unique story. Super comfortable beds and a well-appointed bathroom including rain shower. Cosy bar as well as a restaurant with a 'small but bijou' menu, including charcuterie and cheese boards with local produce. Ideal location for an overnight stay en route to the south of France, or for a longer stay to explore the region (Chartres and Orléans are nearby). We had to leave in the morning so missed breakfast but the owner offered us croissants for the road. This hotel is clearly a labour of love and I hope we have the opportunity to return one day.
French pillows are always a bit flat!

A really pretty little château in an ideal location for an overnight stay en route to Dieppe. The hotel was very welcoming and clean, with modern decor, and the staff and management very friendly and informative. We would stay again!
Due to the location there is noise from a fairly busy road if windows are open. At the time of staying, the hotel used a local caterer who provide pre prepared meals which are then cooked sous vide on the premises. We found the dinner a little overpriced for the result: as one of our party mentioned, it was a bit like good quality astronaut food!

This was an unexpected stopover during our little trip to France. It was a last minute booking, we were tired so it was wonderful to be greeted by Matthew who is a super friendly host. Our room was spacious, bed was comfortable. It was whisper quiet, which was surprised us given it was such easy access from the road. Generous sized bathroom and a separate toilet! Breakfast was prepared and waiting for us - it was delicious! Thankyou Matthew. We wish you continued success.
My only suggestion would be a large rug over the tiled floor for warmth in winter and to soften the room.

Dogs are accepted at this chateau, which is why we chose it to break our journey to our holiday destination in Bretagne. We were a bit concerned about the major, very busy road but one didn't notice it at all in the outbuilding where we stayed (don't know about the main building) in a large ground-floor room with a terrace, ideal with our dog! The grounds are also perfect when you are traveling with a dog, there's a little park to walk in. The welcome was extremely friendly and accommodating with a complimentary glass of champagne. There is no real restaurant (which is a bit of a shame considering the beautifully restored dining room) but they offer a choice of a platter of ham & salami or a cheese board, each including a glass of wine. We had one of each and the value for money is exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful too and included much more than what is customary in France, for example fresh eggs cooked to order. And I was invited to take what I wanted along on our onward journey, so I had a fantastic chocolate muffin later in the day :)) We will definitely stay here again if it's on our way and we would highly recommend the Hostellerie du Bois-Guibert to anyone, whether with or without a dog!!
The location so close to a major and really busy country road ... but it turned out not to be a problem at all, see above! And it would have been even nicer to have had a real restaurant, however we were very happy with the cold supper. And who knows – they are obviously completely renovating the entire chateau – maybe once that's finished, they will run a restaurant again ...

Wonderful stay with my wife and daughter in the Musician's Room with a very generous host and attention to detail. The property is very well kept and has numerous points of interest, We found the location perfect for our trip. My wife and daughter really appreciated the complementary coffee mug with the Chateau's logo.
Do read the practical information sent, I didn't!, which explains the approach to the parking area, so more about what I didn't like about my level of attention. It was well explained.

Beautifully renovated Chateau is in its own garden oasis. Rooms are immaculate, extremely comfortable with air-con and all amenities. Private, secluded secure parking for cars or motorbikes. I was with my wife, my son, is fiancé and our 18month grandson. Matthew the owner is great fun and cannot help you enough, absolutely super fella. Our evening meal and breakfast were superb. We will definitely be stopping here again x
Nothing, everything was perfect

The location was great, the building is very charming.
The family have a dog which is left loose and aloud to roam free, the dog continually bothers guests and other dogs, this interrupted our evening meal and relaxation time generally. On arrival the dog is very intimidating as you do not know its characteristics at that point. We love dogs and had our eight month old puppy with us on a lead at all times. There family dog would not leave her alone.
