The food ---------------- The food options offered for breakfast, lunch and dinner are so good. Enjoyed everytime. Lunch and dinner are the killers ;) Paella, fish and meat dishes grilled and cooked were my favourites. Thank you for the extra kiiiiiilos. The staff --------------- Food&Beverage staff were superb and always around. Room cleaning service is very good, friendly staff. Cleaning team staff were always visible in the hotel. Front desk staff are friendly. No issues with the check-in process. Always staffed. Especially that guy that speaks Dutch as well. His personal approach is very appreciated and should be noticed. The location -------------------- In my opinion, the hotel is located at the more interesting and better side of Santa Susanna, bordering Malgrat de Mar. Plenty of food options, also the restaurant Aruma in front of the hotel is good. Large shopping area with a Carrefour is at walking distance. Hotel is a bit away from the Santa Susanna train station but within walking distance (900m).

Staff – amazing! From the moment I arrived at reception around midnight – when you’d think everyone would be exhausted – the staff were friendly, informative, and even gave me a full tour upon request! The room was cleaned daily, and the housekeeping ladies were incredibly kind and attentive – every hotel should be lucky to have such a team!

The only odd moment was with the bartender, who seemed reluctant to give ice from the freezer… ICE??? which is just water, after all – I didn’t quite understand why… It’s 30 degrees outside during the day, and ice isn’t available? That’s a bit upsetting 🥲 But it’s a small thing – I’m still giving 5 stars to everyone!

I was visiting Santa Susanna for the bachata congress, so I was looking for a place nearest to the festival venue. The location of Hotel Riviera was perfect for me, plus it's in the center of the town and just 5 minutes from the beach. The room was simple and comfortable. The bed was comfy, and the interior looked nice. The breakfast was tasty, quite standard though, but the dinner was really delicious. As I remember, 3 out of 4 nights they served seafood, and it was great. There was always a variety of salads and vegetables which was important for me.

I was surprised and disappointed that there was no complimentary water in the room or at the breakfast. You need to buy water bottles either at the store, or at the hotel bar, which for me is really inconvenient and unsustainable. Also, I prefer to not wear my shoes in the room, but there were no slippers in the hotel and the floor didn't look clean upon my arrival, so I had to ask to clean it again.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very nice and friendly, especially the kitchen team, the gentleman at reception, and the cleaning staff – they really made us feel welcome. The location is great, just a short walk to the beach. The food was delicious, and our room was comfortable and relaxing. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

The hotel is well situated on second line and just a few minutes from the beach. The staff is incredible positive and helpful. Though there is run on the high season they always have a smile and you can feel that they try hard to make people comfortable and happy 🙂 Also to note that the hotel is less than10 minutes from the train station that goes to Barcelona.

The Wi-Fi in the rooms (at least on 6th floor) was bad and we had to use the data plan of our phones. A little thing... It is a general issue at the hotels of Cataluña that the swimming pools are without surveillance. It causes that people sometimes don't respect the rules that apply as: no smoking, no reservation of sun loungers, no ball playing in the pool etc. This happens to a limited extent here as well, but it also happens at the other hotels in the area.

I personally think that Riviera is perfect for the money. The rooms are clean and good, air conditioner is perfect, it’s not far from beach, food is good too. The stuff is incredibly nice and helpful.

Next Hotel is very noisy, the show there is not ending until 12 a.m. After that is quiet. We managed to adjust to it, still it wasn’t great for our very active exploring vacation, since we had to stay up relatively early (8 a.m) and were already tired by the evening. If we had more relaxing stay with longer sleeping time in the morning, as I guess most guest do, it would be less of an issue.

We got a nice big room on the 6th floor. Food has improved since last stay. Only 2 minutts to the beach and 15 minutts to the trainstation.

Some of the staff in reception and bar could need re-training in customer service.

Clean room with balcony. Friendly, polite and helpful staff in all areas. We would like to particularly commend Reuben and Luca (?) at reception and the ever cheerful and efficient Sati in the bar. They would all be an excellent asset for any hotel.

There could be more entertainment and activities organised for rainy days when we could not go outdoors.

The room was clean and comfortable, the pool was also very clean, the staff was friendly and always helpful, the food was really tasty and the location was great - close to the beach, to a big free public parking and to a supermarket. I highly recommend it.

This hotel has everything you need, great food, excellent value at the bar, the staff are amazing, the rooms are clean, designer, spacious, absolutely amazing week we had.

Only niggle was we wanted a kettle in the room to make a coffee in the morning to start the day chilling on the balcony but that wasn’t a major problem.
