Great service from all the staff who went out of there way to help us from the moment we arrived through evening meal , breakfast and checkout. Traveling with an elderly family member who is very unwell. We had an accessible room with adjoining double room which made caring for our Father very comfortable and convenient. They even an extra heater for our dads room. (The rooms are warm enough but he required that little bit warmer). We all slept well and left rested. Breakfast was great with lots of choice and staff very on hand keeping everything clean and topped up. Especially liked the extra zone for gluten free products and toaster. We only chose 5his hotel as its convenient to the motorway as a half way stop over. However we would choose this place again as we have family near by. I look forward to returning and being able to visit the pool and sauna area.

Olie at the reception was extremely helpful and polite, after our allocated room was a very dirty, he offered rightaway diffrent room which was perfect. Even next day he asked me if we are ok and happy. Also liked the girl behind the bar, darker skin, didn't catch her name. Very friendly and helpful, hard working.

First allocated room was very dirty, blood on the duvet, stuff hanging on the wall and cobwebs hanging down the sealing. At the restaurant, half of the stuff wasn't available what was on the menu. Well it was 3 of us and only I had what I choose /liked . Mrs had only soup because and kid had to order from child's menu because the food they wanted just wasn't available. It was only about 3pm on Saturday. Would I go back? Yes I would. As it may seems my negative comments maybe bad but the overall impression was quite good thanks to the staff working there. 👍 keep the good work guys! 👏

From the moment I was greeted by the lady on reception I was made to feel welcome and like a valued customer. The bar and restaurant are well designed with ample room between tables and the food was the nicest meal I have eaten at a hotel. The bar staff were friendly and efficient, and I particularly liked how the shift manager directed his team and supported them at busy times, ensuring no one was kept waiting. I ordered food late, after a long day but nothing was too much trouble! James, the shift manager, was great and continued my feeling of being a valued customer, and this hotel will be top of my list next time I am in the area. 12/10

The toilet is too close to the bath and the walk to the room is long.

We loved this hotel for its excellent location from the motorway and not far from Alton Towers. The onsite leisure facilities - pool & jacuzzi were fab 😍 food was brilliant especially the breakfast! 😋 The staff were all superb throughout and all very friendly indeed, but I must say a special thanks to the lovely Rachael on reception, she is most certainly one of the nicest people ever! Thank you for being so hospitable/ accomodating / friendly and making us feel so welcome 🤗 The decor was really nice, rooms were clean, honestly I'm struggling to fault the place at all, we would definitely stay here again 😁 Thank you so much for having us. The location was perfect, easy to reach from the motorway after a long drive. The room was good, there were tea and coffee facilities and enough space to store our luggage. The bed was comfortable. We had breakfast included and it was good, the team were able to provide a nut free breakfast. The staff were really helpful, especially Ollie, James and Piotr, they took our requests seriously. James was also able to provide some advice when we had car problems.

I had problems with the shower, I could not make the shower head move up the rail. I raised this with the team and Ollie assured me that technical support would be able to sort this out. I understand that at the weekend this was difficult to arrange. It would also have been helpful to get captions on the TV, again the team said they would look at how to get this sorted.

Clean, tidy and spacious room. I don't sleep well outside of my own bed, but it was very comfortable. Pasta dish on Saturday evening in the restaurant was very good. Wasn't expecting that size portion for the money so was very pleased. Staff very friendly and not overly attentive.

I didn't mind the room location. 162 was a trip to and from the bar/restaurant area. No issues there. However after I came back from a walk Saturday morning I found my key card had stopped working so had to walk all the way back to reception, then back to my room again having had it refreshed for my second day stay. I don't know whether this is policy or whether I was just unlucky. Was quickly rectified to no real drama.

Great location for a family wedding nearby, good parking facilities, friendly front desk and bar staff.

No extraction installed in the small bathrooms so mirror unusable after a shower, a sticker on the glass politely requesting to keep the bathroom door closed as the steam can set off fire alarms… surely there’s an obvious answer here?? Found an issue with the bedding at 1am when we were wearily climbing into bed after a family wedding…. Dampness on mattress and under duvet cover, very strange. Night porter was able to eventually remake the bed with fresh bedding but not ideal after a long day. Management arranged a partial refund to us after departure which was appreciated.

The breakfast and dinner was amazing but the best thing was the staff, they were amazing and made us feel very welcome. All staff are very friendly and always go the extra mile. Big huge thank you especially to Ollie at reception for his kindness and free gifts. Thank you to Isindia for taking our food order and serving us dinner and putting up with our continuous questions, thank you for your recommendation and advice. Thank you to all the other staff. Thank you to the kind managers that would walk by and give my kids free chocolate as a treat.

Staff very friendly. Comfy beds. Biscuits and tea/coffee nice touch. Lovely smelling soap/shampoo provided. Nice Decor. Good restaurant. iPad ordering system, very efficient once you work out how to use it. Fast service. Good gym

Pool it's self was lovely, with lane barrier up though it felt small, 6 people going up and down and it felt full. Pool area is looking tired, it had flaky paint, and mold in places. The juccuzi was broken ( one reason we chose the hotel). No chairs or loungers by the pool which was a shame, as greenhouse style and lovely and warm to sit while children swam longer. Changing room lockers were broken.

As soon as we arrived the young gentleman on reception ( I didn't catch his name) was soooo lovely. Really friendly and informative. The room was very clean as was the rest of the hotel that we saw. Unfortunately we had to leave really early so we did not get a chance to try out the breakfast. I would definitely stay again if I wasn't with my hubby as the bed was too soft for him so he was quite uncomfortable and didn't get much sleep but it was fine for me. The location was perfect for us as we were attending our granddaughters dance competition nearby. There was a restaurant in the hotel that looked fab and even a park outside for kiddies.

The bed was far too soft for the hubby unfortunately so he didn't get much sleep but this is no way the hotels fault.
