We recently enjoyed a delightful stay at The Manor in their family room. Traveling with our two children, we found the accommodations comfortable and well-suited to our needs. The warmth and dedication that the owners and their family bring to running the manor hotel truly shines through. You can tell it's more than just a business to them; it's a passion and a way of life that they generously share with their guests. Their personal touch creates a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, making you feel like a cherished guest in their own home. It's evident they take immense pride in the hotel and in ensuring every visitor has a memorable and enjoyable stay. Their commitment and care create a unique charm that makes the manor hotel a truly special place. One of the highlights of our visit was undoubtedly the fantastic breakfast. The selection was excellent, and the quality of the food truly stood out – a perfect start to our days. The amazing garden provided a wonderful space for relaxation and for the children to burn off some energy. It was a real oasis and a lovely feature of the property. The location of The Manor proved to be incredibly convenient for our planned visit to Alton Towers. The proximity made for a stress-free journey to and from the park, which was a huge bonus. Overall, our stay at The Manor was a very positive experience. The combination of comfortable family accommodation, a great breakfast, a stunning garden, and its close proximity to Alton Towers made it an ideal choice for our family getaway. We would certainly recommend The Manor to other families visiting the area.

This is just being picky. The shower head in our room needs replacing. The net curtain in the bedroom needs to be longer, so that we can have the curtains open without people seeing in.

Everything about our stay was stress-free and exactly as we hoped. The location in the centre of Cheadle was perfect for our weekend at Alton Towers (approx 15min drive). The family room was very clean, spacious (even with 3 beds), and had all the basic amenities we needed for our stay. Breakfast was a cooked breakfast and a continental selection, to which both were very good. The host was very welcoming and provided an exceptional service throughout. The free on-site parking was another bonus which we made use of, along with a lovely garden area. I would highly recommend this hotel, and I would certainly book again when we are in the area. My wife and I stayed here for two nights as part of a wee road trip to visit a few theme parks with Alton towers being one, we had stayed here in 2008 when we went to Alton and booked again as we remembered the lovely courtyard with the pond etc. from check in to check out it was a very Pleasant stay, the fella at reception (sorry I didn’t catch your name, we were the couple in room 12) was very friendly and attentive, he also served us breakfast which was great, the room was spotless and a great size. I wish the manor all the best for the future and look forward to visiting again.

I chose this place because it's close to Alton Towers and I wanted to surprise my son for his birthday! Hospitality was great! My son wanted to watch Netflix as soon as we checked in but the Internet wasn't working. I sent a msg on the app I booked through and the matter was resolved in about 10mins! Fantastic! Our room was on the ground floor, beautiful view of the little garden and pond. My son loved going to see what the fish were getting up to! 🥰 breakfast was lovely! When I filled out the form the night before checking in, I stated that I wanted vegetarian sausage for both breakfast mornings and they were ready for me both days! Nothing was a problem for the staff. When my son had the last fried egg, they quickly went to make me one, so that I had an egg too. Upon check in, I was given a list of restaurants and takeaways that we could go to or order from, which was extremely helpful and took the stress away from having to search for somewhere to eat! There's also dessert places there, but we didn't get the chance to explore them. My son loved the room and didn't want to leave! Thank you so much for having us! 🥰

There isn't anything I didn't like, really. I was just expecting the room to be slightly bigger (even though it's called "small double room"). But I have nothing to complain about.

The 1st room was larger than expected for a small double room. Clean, bright, lovely friendly staff, loved the fish in the pond. Breakfast was nice, and off-site breakfast Saturday was straight forward with the breakfast voucher. Close to shops, pubs, eateries etc .....

The shower didn't work but the staff quickly solved this by immediately upgrading us for the inconvenience, the staff couldn't have been be more helpful to make the room transition as smooth as possible. Very attentive and friendly staff. Comfortable room with ensuite. Decent pillows for a change! Had a very good night's rest. Well cooked English breakfast. Also a good selection of continental selections if required. Lovely grounds. Although not extensive were reasonably well maintained with an impressive pond with large fish. Very clean.

A little run down. A little bit of maintenance required for example window latch broken. Couldn't close the toilet door properly but these didn't detract from the overall experience.

Preye was the making of the visit, her support to settle and efficiency was second to none, definitely made our stay memorable.

The property had good access and parking and is close to any amenities you may require. The Rooms are clean specious, well stocked with teas and coffees, clean towels and bedding, good hot water, warm, cosy and private. Good access to WiFi and a Tv. Overall good value for money. I visited on a day the chef was not onsite but had paid for the breakfast so cannot comment on that , but the guest house made excellent provision for us by providing a token that granted us a good alternative at a local Wetherspoons. The only improvement I would make is the lighting on the path to and in the car park. We will definitely be returning.

From start to the end, the staff couldn't do enough, we was late for breakfast this morning as wanted a lie in, instead and still the girl was offering us hot drinks and food was literally so so kind, so glad I came across this manor house. Super cute, more than enough for a family of 4 and the bed was so comfortable wanted to take it home with me. Breakfast yesterday was so yum, we came to visit Alton towers and was perfect distance 15mins from the park, the manor house is 2mins away from Asda so stocked up for food for the theme park. Highly recommend and will be back. Thank you once again

Absolutely nothing. Had such a wonderful time these past couple of nights thank you all so much.

The Guest House is in a perfect location 10-15 minutes away from Alton Towers resort we were staying at the CBeebies the following night so decided to travel down the night before. Check in was effortlessly executed with excellent communication leading up to our trip including specific google maps directions to the car park at the property as there is a one way system in place at the location. Our host Agnes met us first thing on the morning and made us feel welcome accommodating our various breakfast needs a very family friendly atmosphere even looking after our rowdy two year old. There is a beautiful ornamental Carp Pond on the grounds too. The garden area was beautiful in mid February I can only imagine how good it would be in the summer. There are plenty of amenities within a 5 minute walk too. We will definitely be staying again!
