The whole house was clean and well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the room well appointed. We were lucky with our room as we were upgraded, being the only guests that night. Louise's welcome was very warm and she was friendly and helpful throughout. she really ensured that we were able to use all the facilities of the room with ease. The breakfast, a full English, really hit the mark.

Difficult to find fault. It is quite close to a road that is in fairly constant use. So, you may need to keep the windows shut - we didn't as we were in the middle of a heatwave.

We had the loveliest stay at Moorland View Farm B&B. We would highly recommend it! The location is perfect, just a ten minute drive to Alton Towers, which was the reason for our stay, but we fully intend on returning for a walking weekend away. The surounding scenery is absolutely stunning! We had two double rooms, and both were wonderful. Absolutely immaculate, with everything we needed for a warm, comfortable and relaxing stay. Our bed was super comfy, the room a perfect temperature, and we were woken to the sounds of a beautiful Cockerell... although we think he might be a bit confused, as he certainly didn't wake us at sunrise, so we still had a lovely, unheard of, lie in! 🥰 Louise is lovely. So welcoming, friendly and helpful. It's clear that a lot of effort and hard work goes into running the accommodation. Our breakfast was superb and set us up for a long day. We were just gutted we didn't think ahead and book another night, as it would have been the perfect end to an exhausting day... as opposed to the three and a half hour drive home! Thank you for such a lovely stay, and we very much look forward to seeing you again!

Excellent! We visited for a trip to Alton Towers and the location was just perfect - only a 10 minute drive. And it’s a beautiful, peaceful location which beautiful views. Louise, the host was incredibly welcoming and friendly! Lovely to chat with and a lovely and tasty breakfast cooked by herself in the morning:) The rooms are beautiful, lovely decorated and with everything you could need - coffee/tea facilities, fresh water, towels etc. Super comfy bed and lovely clean bathroom! Definitely would book to stay here again when venturing to Alton towers Thank you Louise for a lovely stay x

Nothing we didn’t like, but might be helpful to know there are two ensuite rooms in the B&B plus two self-catering arrangements. Of the two ensuite rooms, one is larger than the other. We had the smaller one. It was perfectly lovely for the one night we were there. We would probably want the larger one for a longer stay.

Excellent venue 👌 lovely hospitality, refreshing to be greeted by a nice, warm, and welcoming host. Loved the room so different to the normal hotel you get at typical hotels. This one was so unique, very homely, and there was no hustle and bustle of competing guests. Privacy was great. Exceptional place with a beautifully made breakfast the following morning 🌄 made with a lot of love ❤️ Exceptional place I would throughly recommend.

There was nothing to be critical of,if it was lovely and very unique. Full of splendour and top quality in every aspect.

We had an absolutely lovely stay here. The location was quiet and peaceful, and the hosts gave us a very warm and kind welcome when we arrived, even offering to tumble dry our wet clothes for us! The room and en-suite were well equipped and had everything you need to make you comfortable, as well as being very clean. We had a great night's sleep followed by a delicious breakfast, setting us up well for the day ahead. We only stayed one night, but would definitely come here again if we were to return to the area.

18:09 I booked this hotel because me and my friend were going to Alton Towers and it was only a ten minute drive away so was perfect for us. After a fantastic but long day at Alton Towers we drove to the hotel. We received a warm welcome from Louise who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect. Nothing was too much trouble Louise explained everything to us and showed us to our room which was lovely and clean and had everything we needed for a good night's sleep. I woke up to a beautiful view of cows in the field which was lovely to see first thing on a morning. We headed down for breakfast the next morning. Lots of continental breakfast tochoose from while Louise made the perfect full English breakfast. We had a lovely chat with Louise over breakfast before leaving for another day at Alton towers. I highly recommend this B and B and we will definitely be visiting again. Thank you Louise for making our stay lovely. Laura and Sean xx

We loved our stay at Moorland View Farm, it made the perfect base to celebrate a special birthday! Louise was a truly fantastic host, communication was excellent throughout and she made us feel so welcome in her B&B. Rooms were spotlessly clean, beds very comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities were great! Breakfast was absolutely delicious! Thank you so much for a brilliant stay, we would return in a heartbeat!

The house/room was great, the location was lovely (there was a woodpecker at the bird feeder outside) and the breakfast was delicious! The host, Louise, was an absolute delight - friendly, helpful and flexible around our needs. Even got her husband to give us a lift back to our car, which we'd left at a nearby wedding venue the night before, so we didn't have to walk back hungover. 10/10 would absolutely recommend and stay here again!

Moorland view farm is a beautiful stay in the peace of Derbyshire country. Traditional British cottage, cozy and clean room; the accomodation is located in a strategic position to visit the surroundings. Louise and her husband were so kind and caring, they prepared a packed breakfast upon our request as we have to leave early in the morning. 10/10!
