This was a really comfortable, small hotel in an equally small village. Breakfast was individually prepared and of a good standard. All staff took great trouble to support our needs / requests. We did not dine here, as it was above our budget, but the restaurant was busy at both lunch and dinner. The local Carrefour at Le Perreon, 1 km away provided cheap fuel and all the provisions needed for picnics / camping, etc. An great base for touring the Beaujolais wines area.

Parking is not available on site, but is free on street or in the village car park within 100metres. No complaints at all!

The room was very comfortable and clean if not luxurious, with an excellent shower and modern bathroom cleverly fitted in a very small space. The staff were friendly and welcoming and the view stunning. The food in the restaurant was outstanding.

There was a strong smell of cat pee on the steps in from the entrance from the garden. The room was expensive for its size and spartan decor Arrival was awkward with little space to stop and unload given that the car park was 100yards away down a steep hill.

Well, the place is extraordinary. It is located in a small village above vineyards with amazing views. But the icing on the cake was the restaurant, we never ever expected a Michelin Star and the experience was outstanding. The food, the vine, even bread was special, all surrounded by fab music and calm lights. The waiters were great, with soooooooo much patience for our ignorance. Definitely coming back. Thank you all, we really enjoyed our stay.

Everything about our stay was excellent. The only minor niggle was dinner - no proper menu or information on a set menu. Just the two price options. It was however very delicious, but a bit more information would have been helpful

As my general review - menus and information were a little short in supply. We had a very lovely bottle of local wine. However when my husband ordered an additional glass of the same wine - the price was 50% of the bottle price. It was a shame they didn’t inform us at the time or offer alternatives.

The service is one of the most warming experiences we had anywhere in the world. We also loved the breakfast for the large variety of home cooked dishes. Finally, the fine dining experience was outstanding.

We visited in peak summer and could not get comfortable during the night given the heat. Perhaps a better fan can address it.

Spa, comfortable bed, great breakfast

The toilet was only screened by a curtain (no door) and the room was small so not very private
