The facilities were amazing. From the Kneippbad to the thermal swimming pool and the amazing breakfast, everything that was needed for a relaxing, rejuvenating weekend was available. The family running the hotel was absolutely amazing as well. No question was ever too much and they helped with whatever was needed, even a small screwdriver to fix broken sunglasses. The view was stunning as well from the pool & even the restaurant. Absolutely amazing stay!

It was a bit far outside the village and the hill up to the hotel from the town was a killer but only took about 20 minutes. Obviously it’s a super hilly town so it was to be expected but probably the only thing that wasn’t amazing. Having said that, the bus does stop right outside the hotel but stops running at 6pm.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The position is perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and peaceful surroundings. The services were excellent, with friendly staff always ready to help. I loved the food, the swimming pool, and the relaxing sauna. The squirrel in the garden added a special touch to the experience. Overall, everything was well taken care of, and it was exactly the kind of place I like.

Our room had a beautiful view of snow capped mountains and the Bad Gastein Valley. We had freshly picked lettuces for our dinner and kind, friendly staff, including the owner’s family. We were picked up at the train station by Peter, the owner’s son, who also was our bartender in the evening. This a health spa, so try the Radon bath and the small group exercise class. I could hear birds singing all day in this precious spot with opportunity to ride a gondola to the top of nearby mountain for lunch surrounded by rugged Alpine peaks. This is a heavenly spot - a little isolated - so get the half board package and enjoy breakfast and dinner where the healthy menu changes daily.

Nothing, really. I wish my knees had been stronger so that I could have gone hiking. There is inspiration in these beautiful surroundings. Rest and enjoy nature.

Great hotel for family holiday. Easy parking. Comfortable rooms and great food. Entertainment for kids available.

Walk to village center is about 15 minutes so if you (or the young adults) want to go Apres-ski then this takes away some flexibility. Road to center is quite dark.

Wi-Fi signal and speed could be better, the breakfast was good but it could be changed up every few days , only one English TV channel,

Athmosphere was excellent and staff was friendly and hospitable. Food was tasty and healthy. Hotel is close to graukogel lifts and other hikes, but not too far from train station or other services (ca. 20 min walk)

Hotel Alpenblick was a fantastic accommodation with comfortable atmosphere and great spa, pool facilities

Breakfast spread was really very good. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Lots of variety and generally you don’t find so many items. Quality was outstanding.

Location and accessibility was a little struggle. Also because we didn’t go during Skyii season so most restaurants and supermarkets in the vicinity were shut. The hotel staff was kind and helpful. They arranged a car for pickup and drop to Badgastein rail station at our request. This place is amazing if you’re travelling in your private car.

The effusive and charming greeting from all the staff was very welcoming after a rainy walk from the station. All of the amenities: heated pool with a view, sauna, Kneipp facility and room view were on point and very, very clean. The gulasch they gave me to warm me up at lunch and the outstanding dinner made this a great experience. They even drove me to the station to get my train to Ljubljana. Outstanding in every way!
