Excellent hotel, superb location, very close to the marina with it's multitude of fabulous restaurants and very close to the beach. Very comfortable bed and lovely soft pillows. Very good breakfast. The hotels swimming pool is large and clean. Evening entertainment some evenings. On-site car parking. And a fabulous very special and personal touch was that they detected from my passport that it was my birthday so they put a bottle of wine, in an ice bucket, slice of cake with a candle in it in the room - how thoughtful - and free!!

Seagulls were a problem, lots of poo on the sun loungers which were uncomfortable and sunbeds towels were very thin and shabby. No tea and coffee facilities in the rooms.

Hotel is a great location to be able to walk to the beach and the marina for dinner. Pool area is nice enough, a couple of the sunbeds need replacing but otherwise did the job! Great pool bar that does lunch and snacks too. Breakfast was good. We didn’t spend too much time in the hotel as we had a wedding nearby but our room was great, good beds and nice to sit out on the balcony looking out to the marina.

As we were there for a wedding we had clothes that needed an iron. Went down to reception to be told there are no irons for guests whatsoever which I thought was surprising. Then had to pay to get the clothes ironed which is fine, but after two days the clothes we needed for the wedding still hadn’t appeared back in our room despite it being a 24hr service. Took a couple of calls to reception to find out where the clothes were and they were then brought up. Not a major issue but think an iron in the room would be useful!

We arrived early for our booking. We had to wait for 3pm check in which was fine as they had previously advised early check in will depend on availability. When 3pm hit only 1 room was available, not only that but the rooms were so far away from each other literally the other side of the building. And a promise to see what can be done the next day. We spoke to a different staff member that night who sorted our rooms for us and moved us next door to each other which was brilliant, tha k you to the night duty staff on the 12/08. The balcony door was not locking and it made me feel vulnerable leaving .my things in the room when we are not in the hotel room. Dispite numerous calls about this it was not fixed throughout our stay. The hotel itself was great, exceeded expectations. The customer pics online doesn't do the hotel justice. Beautiful place and walking distance to the Marina. I recommend up to date AC as its such a hot country. And the ac in the rooms does not do much to help, barely produced enough relieve

Breakfast was perfect. A lot of variety, including different types of breads, get your own omelette and pick your toppings, loads of cheese and cold meats, fruits, juice, cake... The room was big for a double bed, but as we had an extra bed in became a bit claustrophobic, even more with the single bed put in the middle of the corridor. Despite that, really appreciated the comfortable beds and the nice balcony over the pool. Nice pool bar, nice evening entertainment by the indoor bar. Good location, 3-minute walk from the marina and about 5 to the beach.

The hotel is a bit outdated and some part of it you can see missing paint and so on. The swimming pool had a strong smell, had to shower after getting out, as we were white, just too much chlorine treatment.

The hotel is well located, just a short stroll to the marina. Breakfast was excellent - with a large selection of fresh fruit, cheeses, cereals, juices, pastries, omelette station, hot food etc and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, particularly Marco. We had a massage and a detox wrap at the hotel spa with Carla and Fatima which were excellent and fairly priced.

The only annoyance was a group of around 8/10 loud men who were belting out dire music by the pool on their speaker, I saw this in a previous review but thought it might have been once off, fortunately it was only for one day and we just left and went to the beach instead but it should be addressed by the hotel in future and it was the only downside of our stay.

Great hotel, fabulous large room with great bathroom and balcony. The buffet breakfast and dinners were really excellent. Such beautiful quality food and such great variety and choice. Delicious! This made our stay! Pool and plenty of Sun loungers and 2 min walk from the fabulous marina which comes alive at night! A perfect holiday for us as a family - this is our 2nd stay here and we will certainly be back!

We had a very enjoyable stay at this hotel. It is a very clean hotel. You can see the staff cleaning all the different areas around the hotel multiple times a day and our bedroom was cleaned daily too. We found the staff very friendly in the hotel. The hotel is situated in a great location in Vilamoura. You are close to the marina and to the beach and you have Jaffers supermarket only a few minutes walk down the road. This hotel has a lovely clean pool area and they have a kids club with different activities happening throughout the day. Our room had a nice balcony outside with a table and 2 chairs and we had lovely views of the marina. Finally just to say we had very good air conditioning in our room.

The hotel felt a bit dated in style but we didn't mind too much as it was so clean and the facilities were good. The air conditioning wasn't working in the kids club room and I felt it was very warm in there especially for young children. In the bathroom, I felt the shower area was narrow in width and it would have been nicer to have a wider space with a more modern shower system.

Fabulous location for beach & marina, good atmosphere by the pool area. Nice sized balcony, beds very comfy. Decent choice of food at breakfast. Sound proofing in room is great, couldn't hear anything in the neighbouring rooms so slept well. Would stay again.

Tables by the sun loungers could be cleaner, pool towels are small & very thin, quality not great. Could make more use of the bar area in the evenings with more entertaining to encourage guests to use that facility more.

Location was only a 2 minute walk from the actual Marina and all the restaurants and bars. Fantastic choice if you want everything at the tip of your fingers. if you're planning any activities like fishing, jet ski's ect the booth is a 2 minute walk and give you pretty good discounts. The actual hotel is very clean and modern, with friendly staff who are very helpful when needed.

The only thing that was 'lacking' was the hotel breakfast. The choice of breakfast items was very mid especially in the fruit department. they do however make omelets and crepes to your desire but the line is usually quite long for this.

The food was brilliant, a wide selection at both breakfast and dinner and there were options to cater to everyone. The freshly grilled to order meat and fish in the evenings was lovely, and the salmon was the best I have ever tasted! The staff were all incredibly welcoming and friendly and catered to our every need. We arrived late on our first day so missed our first dinner as we were half board, but the staff honoured this and still provided us with a meal from the bar and gave us the option of having it on our arrival evening or as a lunch during the week. I cannot fault the service! The location of the hotel is a short walk to both the marina and the beach and many restaurants and shops are nearby making it an ideal location.

The only recommendation I could make would be an update to the decor in the bedrooms, but it was all perfectly clean, just a little dated visually.
