The breakfast was good. The room was well furnished and with a huge balcony. There are very fine restaurants nearby, some of them are even not so expensive. The location is superb for hiking, for example, to Sankenbachwasserfälle and to Rinkenturm. The town of Freudenstadt with a lot of nice places to visit is easily reachable by S-Bahn in 10 min. (unfortunately, approximately once per hour). Deeper in Schwarzwald, I would recommend also "Alternative Wolf and Bear Park Black Forest".

The location is close to penny so it is quite convenient for buying some drink and snacks. Also it is easy to find park place. The hotel is also close to bus station, so no worry if come with bus.

The chair on the balcony is not completely cleaned. The light in the bathroom is not so bright. The front edge of the bed is high and hard so watch out for that.

Nice little hotel, fairly close to town (10 minute walk). Clean rooms. Good view of the surrounding hills (if you look past the factory below). They were kind enough to let my bike my motorcycle in the garage, which aways gets bonus points from me. Breakfast was very good. Hot food (bacon, eggs, sausage, etc) as well as the standard Euro type breakfast.

Road noise , no off street parking , not handy for motorcycles . The man seemed a bit irritated when we arrived 10 past 7 . We had planned to arrive hours earlier but on the journey was a terrible accident and we got stuck on the highway behind a big accident . Then the man seemed a bit grumpy because we were 10 minutes late .

Good location in upper village close to small supermarket, bakery, restaurants. Friendly staff. Spacious rooms. Quiet despite being close to a main road. Ten minute walk from station. Lovely town. Lots of well marked, well maintained walks. Everyone very friendly in restaurants, tourist information etc. Free public transport included in stay. Free minibar in rooms replenished daily.

Rooms relatively basic and bathrooms cramped. Smell of cigarette smoke in corridors. Pillows very uncomfortable! Overall though we would thoroughly recommend.

Breakfast is very complete but what I appreciated the most is the kindness of the staff. Hotel handled in a very familiar way with nice people.

I really don't have anything negative to say. Even the week I got there that was snowing a lot, the room was warm all the time, no complains at all.

My wife and I holidayed together in this beautiful hotel for New Year's Eve. We were delighted with this hotel and the staff. Amazing service, very kind, and good people run this hotel. Special thanks to Robert for his help and for the tips. And of course a very tasty breakfast. This is now one of our favorite places to stay. The best view of the Black Forest as a gift.

What a lovely hotel, such value for money! The breakfast was good, had a fair variety to choose from and had good coffee. The manager was always helpful and friendly and the room was perfect. I absolutely loved the mattresses which were firm and offered good support. There are great views of the mountain and a short distance walk and one reaches the forest hiking trails. We traveled with our dog and she was completely welcome in the room and the breakfast area. She loved the walks in the mountains as well and had a very comfortable stay :)

The hotel is a little bit of a distance from the town itself and the train station, so it was quite a task to walk up the hills with all the luggage and our dog. (Sadly the bus service of Baiersbronn is completely unreliable and the schedules are confusing and inaccurate.) The pillows in our room aren't the greatest so in contrast to the amazing mattresses, these weren't very comfortable. The shower is quite narrow so a bit difficult to navigate, but it gets the job done anyways.

Location is superb, the room was spacious, clean, with all we needed plus a free mininbar. The room heating is great specially for us that travelled with a small baby and the balcony view was enjoyable too.

Bed needs an upgrade and a real structural fix. The breakfast was mediocre at best, unfortunately I would not recommend it.

Baiersbronn is a very spread-out village, so it's difficult to be 'central'. Having said that, there is a bakery/café close by, another one within a short drive, and a couple of restaurants. It is in a quiet residential location. Room was fine - bathroom a bit dark, and small, but efficient otherwise. Baiersbronn would in theory be a great place to stay for the Black Forest, when there are no roadworks completely cutting off the main road to Freudenstadt, and a classic car rally closing the main road out to Strasbourg - worth checking the events calendar!

The hotel was fully booked, so the small parking was not adequate and we had to park in the local supermarket car park.
