We stayed in an executive suite with frontal sea view. The hotel opened around 3 years ago, so it is relatively new. Guests are mostly foreigners, with few arabs and Egyptians. It is located near Almaza Bay, however hard to get to as there were no road signs and GoogleMaps is not helpful in how to get to hotel. I have reported this to staff and its a problem they are aware of and working on. The hotel is world class luxurious hotel, you can feel it in its decorations, facilities, palm trees, marble flooring every where even in rooms, bath rooms, swimming pools, dining restaurants, and reception. First of all Staff is exceptional, you will be amazed with how polite, prompt, helpful and efficient they are. I have never experienced this kind of service in the North coast in any hotel I have been to, and I tried many! Gym is OK, I was expecting more with a hotel of this quality, but the SPA is awesome, with sauna, steam and Jacuzzi. They also have massage rooms. The beach is really spacious and nice, only problem is that in North coast tide is too high for kids to swim in it, however water is clear and beautiful. They compensate that with 7 large beautiful swimming pools. Food is one of the things I was amazed by, I have never seen food with high quality and diversity in a hotel in the North coast. Yes, taste is not the best in all food items according to my standards, however seeing things like grilled Jumbo shrimps, sea food stations, grilled pigeons, ample variety of fresh juice (mango, orange, strawberries, Guava, etc.), pizza stations, etc., alleviates the mediocre taste of some food items. The only catch from my side was the dinner desserts, although having great variety, it didn't contain deserts I crave like cream Brûlée, Om Ali, ice cream, etc. lunch and snack bars are also great. In general, this is a great hotel to be try in the North coast.

Our experience at Cleopatra Sidi Heneish in Marsa Matruh was beyond amazing! From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality made us feel truly welcome. The resort itself is stunning, with beautifully maintained, elegant facilities and a level of cleanliness that stands out. A special thank you to Ahmed Galal, the Reception Manager, whose warm welcome and thoughtful gestures made our stay extra special. The food at the resort was another highlight — a fantastic variety, delicious flavours, and something for everyone to enjoy. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d absolutely recommend it for anyone looking to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Marsa Matruh with great service and amenities.

The only things to keep in mind: while the sea is absolutely beautiful, it can be risky for kids due to strong waves, so extra care is needed. There was also some ongoing construction during our visit, and honestly, the prices feel a bit overrated for the area.

The hotel is huge, many facilities and social areas. Making it perfect for family with kids and at the same time for couples that want more privacy, because they have so many pools and places that you will never get annoyed buy the noise of kids. So many activities, impossible to get bored. The rooms are perfect and very spacious, and the food AMAZING! But what truly make the hotel outstanding is the STAFF!! They put effort in every detail and always willing to help and make your stay memorable. We’d like to highlight two members that really made our vacation spectacular, Ahmed galal and Mohamed nasef, the best members of the hotel! Only have good words to say about them! Aaa all of and I didn’t even mention the beach, the most beautiful beach of world. White sand and turquoise water. Highly recommend to stay at Cleopatra Hotel.

I liked everything

Brand new, clean, amazing location. So many pools to choose from and great beach facilities. The pool infront of the beach is the best pool we've ever been in. At the time of our stay there seemed to be a lot of construction works however, it didnt impede on our stay. We were a bit apprehensive according to a now deleted review about the resort being under construction. But we were really impressed by how smooth and comfortable the stay was regardless of the unfinished buildings. It wasn't noisy, it was peaceful. All in all a great stay and memorable experience, we will definitely come back to see it once its finally finished. The food at the buffet was very good and the staff were amazing and friendly

We didn't find out the resort was in a soft opening until after we booked. We were told the day before we arrived. So the spa and fitness centre were not available, the poolside bar wasn't available. Some kf the walkways were unfinished it was really pram-friendly/accesible. There are no lifts to the higher floors where our room was. This isn't hotels fault but the beach was closed a few times because it was high tide and there are boulders. So probably try and avoid booking during high tide. No high chairs in the restaurant for kids.

This property is located in a very nice location and close to Cairo, swimming pools are grand and staff whether at the beach or at the pools or elsewhere were phenomenal.

Nothing everyone was helpful and fantastic. The reception team led by Mr. Ahmed Galal, was great and special thanks to Ahmed who spared no efforts to make our stay memorable.

This hotel exceeded our expectations by far! Our greeting started with a message before we even arrive from Mr. Ahmed Galal who was checking a day before our arrival if we needed directions or had special request . Mr. Ahmed Galal was at the lobby welcoming us at check in which was very sweet . Our whole stay we felt the staff from housekeeping to waiters were very helpful and polite. Mr. Ahmed and Antonios were always around whenever we needed something and were always accomodating . The sea was beyond amazing , crystal clear , beach area was well equipped , life gaurds were super attentive throughout the day for the safety of swimmers . Room was lovely, new, spacious and very comfortable beds, a lot of rooms were sea view as the hotel is on levels with several pools , on different levels . The hotel is new and in great shape and very beautifully built. Breakfast buffet was a big variety and large display with live cooking and diet dairy options .

There’s nothing not to enjoy about this property

Cleanliness, sea, pools, buffet, everything was perfect. Ahmed Galal was extremely helpful. From the moment of check in all the way to check out he made sure that everything was perfect and went out of his way to support and make it a memorable stay. Will certainly come back.

The only thing was the unfortunate high sea waves that made it not possible to enjoy the sea on 3 out of the 4 nights we stayed in the hotel. However, the numerous pools available have managed to make up a great alternative.

I enjoyed my stay very much. It was amazing experience. The hotel had a very nice landscape with amazing facilities like several pools, the gym and restaurants. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the food very much. The snacks were very nice at spuntini restaurant and the ice cream at the gelateria. Also, the drinks were very nice on the beach. The room was very luxurious and clean. The sea view was amazing. I want to dedicate a special thanks to Mr. Ahmed Galal the reception manager, Mohamed Mohsin in the main restaurant and Hossam the life guard. They were more than helpful and nice. I will definitely come back.

Sea structure has rocks more like Matrouh than sahel. It is slightly risky especially for kids. Lifeguards are very good & focused on each one in the sea without annoying them which is exceptional
