Location is excellent The ambience of this beautiful old building is simply outstanding

There is a lovely comfortable bar and lounge. When we visited for a late night drink it was full of people eating takeout pizzas from cardboard boxes. The smell was appalling and destroyed the atmosphere - more like Burger King then a beautiful old hotel

Excellent location in the heart of Moura yet with ease of parking either on the street or the hotel's car park. Incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Lovely room, very comfortable and large bed. Breakfast.

The bathroom. It was far too small. We took one of the cheapest rooms and it may be that the upgrades have bigger bathrooms in which case we would recommend paying the extra. Wardrobe doors refused to stay shut!

We would recommend booking the superior rooms- just a little bit more expensive and for that you get absolutely beautiful and spacious accommodation in the heart of moura. The hotel occupies a grand old mansion full of beautiful features. Staff are very friendly and helpful, breakfast is plentiful and served in a lovely room overlooking a leafy square. It was our second time there, and we're hoping to return before too long. A real old style marvel of a place! And they also provided secure indoor storage for our bicycles.

Such a beautiful historical establishment, which kept the original character. It’s nice to see it being well maintained and original features preserved. Beautiful property! If added few features, I’m sure it will quality as 4 star and will be lovely pousada. Bed was spacious and very comfy. I’m sure room size is more than 12m2 (would advice property to check this info and update details on site, as other travellers might miss on booking rooms here because room size advertised incorrectly. Location is perfect. Free onsite parking available. Outdoor pool was lovely. Building has loads of communal balconies where you can sit and enjoy sun whilst having coffee. As I had to work from room, my request to have a desk was fulfilled - it was great! We loved our stay and would definitely recommend. Obrigada 🙏

Fridge in the room would be a big plus.

It's our 3rd stay in the hotel, showing friends Moura for their first visit to Portugal. We like this hotel for the location, secure parking and walkable to local restaurants. It's almost the only decent hotel in the small town. Having stayed in rooms in the front section of the hotel, we chose to try newer rear section of the hotel. It was quieter and close to the central courtyard. The Aircon worked fine and there were several English channels on the TV. Despite being in town, the hotel gives a feel of countryside . These is a large supermarket right behind the hotel.

We had the furthest room from the Reception so the WiFi was temperamental, so I used my 4G instead. The previous front rooms has stronger WiFi. Despite it being our 3rd visit, the breakfast hasn't improved. No hot foods except boiled eggs and ham cheese and assorted bread. Very continental. Unfortunately, the new wing also had hard beds and the only mirror was in the bathroom which was inconvenience. The wardrobe had no doors. Luckily our friends' room was slightly larger with a bigger wardrobe and mirror in the wardrobe. I believe some rooms were better decorated than others which is reflected on the price. Also, there was no hot water for a late shower, so shower earlier!!!!

The view of our room was amazing. We can see the park from our room and it was quiet too. Quite a spacious room. The best part is the location. It's at the center of everything.

The bathtub shower room drain gets clogged all the time. The hotel doesn't have a lift/elevator. It was quite hard to bring up and down huge luggages.

Immediate attention and great friendly welcome. The building was even more amazing than I remembered from booking, right on the main square with a small park. You can park outside the hotel in spaces reserved just for guests, drop your bags and after check in move your car to their off road secure car park behind the hotel. The room was superlarge with a sofa and TV. Lots of hot water and big bath towels. Continental breakfast was all wonderfully fresh, and two coffee machines so no waiting. The lady managing breakfast was wonderfully attentive and replenished plates before they were empty.

Beautiful old building close to the centre of town. The old features had been retained and incorporated into the hotel which made it very characterful. Huge rooms that were very comfortable.

There was a deposit required for pool towels that was a bit clunky as it had to be paid in cash and we had to ask for the refund when we checked out as it wasn’t automatically repaid when we took the towels back. Also, there were not enough sun beds by the pool for us all to have one (we were only two couples). These are minor points though.

Simple but very comfortable hotel in a beautiful historic building. Very friendly, helpful and welcoming staff.

There is no elevator as it is a historic building, but there are rooms available on the ground floor for elderly people or those with mobility difficulties.

Lovely atmospheric traditional old hotel in the middle of town. If you like history and don’t mind a bit of ‘old charm’ facilities, this is a great hotel to visit. No on site restaurant, but plenty of recommendations from the nice staff. Enjoyable stopover.
