Mr. José and Mrs. Fátima are incredible hosts who made our stay truly memorable. They showed us the genuine hospitality and warmth of the Portuguese people and introduced us to local culture and cuisine. The property is perfect for nature lovers and is ideally located for exploring nearby tourist attractions. If we ever come back to the Alentejo we will definitely stay there again.

Fatima and her husband were so friendly from the moment we arrived until we left. Hugs and kisses as though we were family. The breakfast was lovely, served outside in a marquee in the garden area.

Everything was lovely. The best nights sleep I had in a month on the road in Spain and Portugal.

Fatima and Jose were superb hosts! Helped us figure out everything. Cooked a fabulous breakfast. They couldn't do enough for us. In the warmer months, with the pool, this would be a lovely family holiday retreat.

The owner is so sweet! We traveled with our 5 month old baby and she was so kind to us and our child. The room was clean and spacious and the breakfast was excellent. Hope to visit again one day.

A totally beautiful place to stay, with the most welcoming of hosts you're likely to meet, nothing is too much trouble. We had delicious homemade bread and jams for breakfast amongst the lush plants, and went to meet all the various animals from newborn chicks to the donkey, which they can hitch to the cart for the kids to ride. Even all the textiles are hand embroidered by Fátima! It's also extremely easy to get to and a great base to explore the nature, history, dark sky, and food of the Alqueva region.

How could you not like anything here?!

An astonishing welcome - so hospitable and friendly, I felt like long-lost family. Stunning breakfast- really exceptional. Beautiful grounds and setting. Lovely clean air, ample parking, extremely safe. An outside seating area perfect for the evening as well as for breakfast. Beautiful antiques and lamps throughout the house. A real glimpse of classic Portugal.

My bed was narrow and very creaky, which disturbed my sleep a little.

The hosts Dona Fátima and senhor Zé were outstanding, super friendly and always helpful with a clear concern for the comfort and enjoyment of their guests. Breakfast was amazing with the highlights being the homemade bread cooked on the farm in a woodfire oven, the homemade jams made by Dona Fátima were divine (we had apricot and kiwi). The swimming pool was perfect to cool down for all the heat after a day out exploring the region.

It was a very pleasant experience to stay here. We received a very friendly welcome by Fatima and her husband, the garden is beautiful, the swimming pool very nice and big and the breakfast was very good with homemade bread. We will certainly visit again if we pass by this area - everything was perfect.

Fatima and her husband vere extremly friendly. The property is an old farm that I believe is still in function. The swimming pool is an additional convinence. A very nice place to stay and relax and than after a very good breakfast start the new adventure

Rooms are quite small

The hosts were exceptional in all regards from their reception to departure. The host provided good information about the area with places to see and things to do. Lastly, they shared local cuisine that made the experience that much better.

For my preference, the bed was a little hard.
