The first and best part of staying at the Lux Verde Hotel was being greeted by Edward at the front desk. He was perfectly professional, but also warm, personable and endlessly helpful. He made our stay feel like home, and i enjoyed chatting with him every chance i got. The staff that i had less interactions with were also all so kind and helpful. The spirit of the Lux Verde is definitely the staff. Thank you, Edward and everyone else, too :)

In the listing on Booking.com, it included the pool as an amenity, but the pool was closed for the season, and was scheduled to open a few days after our stay ended. The idea of swimming contributed to us picking the Lux Verde, so it was disappointing to find out it was closed. The hot tub was open though. Nevertheless we were happy we chose to stay here because of the friendly staff, the continental breakfast, the cleanliness of the entire property and the value of the Lux Verde.

The room was very comfortable and clean. I had the accessible room. It was very spacious, side bars in the bathroom. The shower was a bit frustrating as I am not really tall had to manipulate the shower head a bit. I was pleasantly surprised that they had the shower soap, shampoo and conditioner right on the wall for use. They had the hand soap on the wall by the bathroom sink. That was an extremely nice touch. The bed was very comfortable. I cannot complain at all about the room. The Breakfast was delightful. Eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and all the other fixins. The staff was a pleasant surprise as well. They were all kind, caring and accommodating in all ways from the head manager, to the assistant to the breakfast staff. They were all so very nice and authentic people. I cannot say enough about this hotel. The Italian restaurant was also a nice touch and the staff was well received and servers very nice. This was the nicest stay I have had in a long time. I will be back again for sure.

There was absolutely nothing that I didn't like about this hotel. I am surprised that the ratings don't show this hotel to be a 9.5 because it should be up there for sure. When I booked it showed 8.1, not at all what it really should be. Their score should be much higher then that.

Room was good sized. We liked the bed, bedding, towels and soap dispenser. It was also great to have a refrigerator (larger than most) and microwave as well as coffee pot in the room. Breakfast was great and included your waffles plus eggs, sausage, juice, fruit and toast/bagels. Location was close to most services plus old town Cottonwood. We traveled to Jerome, Prescott and Sedona plus other surrounding areas and the hotel was very centrally located to all of these. The location of the hotel also gave us a good view of the surrounding area and some nice sunrises and sunsets.

Sofa in the room was low to the ground and cushions sunk so it wasn't too comfortable. Otherwise the room was very nice and clean.

Breakfast was very good, Location is great with a beautiful view, everything was absolutely clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. The Italian restaurant in the hotel is absolutely amazing.

The bed mattress was very uncomfortable so are the pillows. The refrigerator in the room was pretty loud. And we forgot a Kindle device in the room but when I called about it I was told that nothing was found by the cleaners which I know was not correct but I have to take that hit because how to proof it!?

We stayed here twice, spending the time between our stays in another city. There are two accommodation buildings, with the reception and breakfast room in a third. Our first stay was further away and there was quite a walk to the first building. The second was closer. The weather was excellent when we were there but the walks back to our room were uphill, not always easy after breakfast! The walk in shower was welcome after all the climbing into a bath that showers so often entail. The shower and toilet were in one room and the wash basin separate, which is common in some accommodation. The breakfast room lady was very pleasant and helpful. There is plenty of parking. The accommodation is in an area with a lot of medical facilities.

The hot breakfast was very predictable, being the same every day.

It was close to everything we wanted to see. The room was larger than average and we liked having the couch, small refrigerator and freezer and microwave. It was pet friendly which was a plus and they offered a free decent breakfast.

These are small but important to me : towels need to be replaced. All had raggedy edges and seemed well used. I am glad they had a nice pet relief area but the garbage can for disposal was not changed since I arrived and left 3 days later. Still there. I told the front desk - it really smelled up the area. No room for more doggy mess disposal. The other garbage cans were cleaned around the hotel.

The front area and rooms were clean.

The pool, however, is NOT HEATED!!! My friends grandson jumped in, and by the time he was able to get out, his skin was red from being so COLD. it was also very, very dirty. He was pulling pieces of plastic and plastic bottles out of it. I was so disappointed. My friends came from Mn for a visit. I got online and booked our 2 day stay here. Had I known about the pool, I would have gone elsewhere. Not only was it embarrassing for me, but it was not fun for her grandson.

The room was so big and spacious, it felt very clean, the bed was so comfy and the comforter was so fluffy and felt luxurious. The location was great, there was ample parking-- I was able to park right outside of my room, which was fantastic. And the customer service was top notch. The employees were very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was decent but overall was just fine. The sausage and waffle were very good, but the eggs were kind of dry.

Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice, good selection of food. Staff was very friendly and checking in and out was quick. Location of hotel is also very convenient, close to supermarket and several restaurants. There is a restaurant on the premises, but we have not tried it.

Rooms are situated a little distance away from the main building, which can be a challenge during inclement weather.

The pool was freezing , lots of stuff floating in the water and no skimmer to clean it. The bed was lopsided , needs new mattress . The bathroom floor was not mopped the five days we stayed . The poorly weee so nice , the continental breakfast was above what most are was very clean and organized. The Italian restaurant on the property was delicious. The staff were amazing.
