While nothing fancy it was everything you need. Bed was exceptionally comfortable as were the pillows. Room was very clean with what appeared to be new carpeting, drapes and bedspreads. The two door refrigerator and small microwave allowed for some munching in the room. The bathroom had been updated with new multi function shower head and shower curtain, appears new toilet and sink vanity. Hair dryer was provided in bathroom. Heating/ AC kept the room comfortable. My 16 night solo stay was very quiet and relaxing. Not once did I hear anyone talking or another room’s TV. You do hear the trains passing but I found it comforting and soon didn’t notice the whistles. The location is very close to multiple restaurants and major shopping. You can walk across the street to a great Mexican restaurant and a neighborhood bar with good food and live music. Although I was a female traveling by myself I felt completely safe the entire time. There is plenty of outside lighting and have the convenience of parking right at your door. The staff was very attentive and friendly, making sure I had everything I needed. I did ask for a tub mat and they rushed out and got one for me. I highly recommend this place for a no frills but comfortable and clean place to stay. I will be back if/when I’m back in the area. A nice, family-owned, traditional motel where you can drive up and park directly in front of your room! The owners were very kind, courteous and attentive to my needs. The rooms have been recently remodeled and are clean and modern, with fridge and microwave. A true "bargain", for the room rate!

Once in awhile I could hear other guests, outside their neighboring rooms, talking rather loudly, with an empty beer bottle or two visible on the sidewalk the next morning.

I like the location, it is one of closest places to stay to the freeway access. There is a good Mexican restaurant across the street, The Mall is just down the road where as most of the big box stores are miles down main road where the other Motels are. The manager would ask when I saw him how my stay was going if I needed anything since I use a walker, he also told me they added the grab bars in the bath for safety and access in the rooms.

If you haven't been to Muncie the roads are rough. I have been traveling here on and off the past 20 plus years and it looks like the city has started to repave the streets starting at the end where Walmart is.

I travel to Muncie to visit my son at BSU and I happened upon this motel. They had done well with updates they had made to it, the cost was awesome and it was very quiet and comfortable. They are slightly smaller rooms, but very clean and comfortable. There are close places to grab and get breakfast, etc. I traveled with 3 of my kids and we all slept great. Staff was super friendly and accommodating which is super nice to have. Definitely will be staying here again!

My husband and i were looking for a clean, quiet room at an affordable price. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. We were able to park right in front of our door. The hotel was quiet,with no noise from other rooms or the parking lot. We were very happy with our stay. If you are looking for luxury this will probably not suit your taste. We prefer an unpretentious room that is clean, quiet, comfortable, and that is exactly what we got! We will definitely stay at The Bestway Inn again when we are in Muncie!

The location met my expectations for my purposes of my travel. It was clean and well maintained, though an older structure. It was quiet. Wall outlets were sufficient to recharge whatever needed to be recharged. The location was worth its value.

The TV might have been easier to operate. Fortunately, this was not a problem for me or for this location. Have noticed that many other lodging alternatives are ditching cable TV for less costly options, the operation of which may be more difficult. Some of the usual amenities, i.e. Starbucks. Bigbies, Waffle House, Cracker Barrel and a good selection of cold beer, that I look for near a lodging location were not near by. Had to drive one to two miles to the nearest amenity.

This motel is wonderful! It has recently been renovated and updated, The room had lots of space and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and large. The staff are very nice and take pride in this facility. I would definitely stay here again

My only suggestion would be to have outlets closer to the sides of the bed. I have a CPAP and fortunately my chord could reach over to the other wall.

I didn't have breakfast. The position was perfect and met my expectations. The car is next to the room. It's convenient. The room has a microwave and refrigerator, which is very convenient for a person traveling with their own food and allows them to save money. The bath has new fixtures and ceramic tiles on the walls.

The air conditioner is very noisy, but if you spent 12 hours driving it doesn’t matter, but staying in this hotel for a long time will be annoying. Plus the noise. There is a railway nearby, and if train whistles scare you at night, then you should take this into account when choosing a hotel. There were no clothes hangers in my room.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. Although somewhat dated, the room was perfectly clean. I booked a room with 2 queen sized beds for less than $70 so I definitely got a great deal for my money.

It would've been nice to have had a coffee pot in the room. They did offer coffee in the office, and it was delicious by the way, but I like to have my coffee shortly after opening my eyes every morning. Other than that, our stay was great.

It was comfortable and very clean. I slept well on nice linens. The clerk was very helpful at check-in. The shower was nice and hot. The amenities were nice-- fridge, microwave, TV, Wi-Fi. The location is convenient for errands, shopping and entertainment. The other clients staying there were friendly. I felt safe there and did not notice any weirdos near the inn.

Bath towels are slightly small. I will bring my own next time.
