We loved the vibe in Old Bank, Bastimentos and the hosts of the Caribbean View. The hotel is run by a family and theyre all really friendly and helpful. The son Luis can also take you on some amazing trips with his boat. The room is very big and clean, and every day your room is cleaned. Sometimes there is a problem with water on the island but when you ask the owner he puts the water straight on for you and you will have warm water to shower

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to help me and my cousin out when we were robbed on Wizard beach, one of them even coming with us to the police station in bocas town and making sure we wouldn’t have to pay a fee for the water taxi.

The wifi was not usable in the room, only common areas.

The location is great, being located on the water and a short walk from restaurants in Old Bank. The room we stayed in had a good view of the bay from the balcony. Luis was a great host who gladly attended to any of our needs and helped to organize activities for our stay in Bocas del Toro and our excursion to Red Frog Beach.

The hotel is right at the water, the boot droped us off in the dinning room of the hotel. We could check in the room, even though we were very early.

The room / bathroom is very small, but we loved our stay. We had hot water/ Air conditioning and two beds and loved the staff.

Luis and his family were so hospitable, the food he cooked us was delicious! The place itself is so tranquil looking over the water. We loved staying here and wish we could’ve stayed longer, it was very chilled and simplistic island life.

Love the island, beaches were worth the trip. Booked 2 days stayed 6. Apparently, this is pretty common. Greet the locals, they are friendly back

Town has little infrastructure, and no ATM. Stock up in Boca before arriving. (Though, this is kinda a plus.)

Great location overlooking the Old Bank. Easy hike to Wizard’s beach.

really nice and helpful owner. Water Taxi stop. And nice seaview where you can see the sun down. Haf to buy the breakfast but was really good with a lot of choices.

The owner sometimes turns down the water for the hole property ( no big deal, just ask him to turn it on again)

such a nice place in a very lovely vibrant neighborhood. The local people are super nice, and it’s good to get away from all of the touristic places in Bocas. Supermarkets by walking distance and also some restaurants/bars and the beach. The family running the place are super helpful with everything and they make a delicious affordable breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
