Nice 4 star hotel. Price is good for a family room. Nice view of the sea and quiet. Clean room. Has shuttle facilities to MRT which is 10 mins ride. From this MRT, it takes 25 mins ride to Tsim Tsa Tsui. Has 2 beaches nearby walking distance . Good place to relax .

A little far from shops or eateries. Airport Bus A38 only until 2.30PM. Waiting line , sometimes long, to wait for the free shuttle which takes 19 pax per trip. So may need to wait 2 rounds.

I have only one issue and I don't really think this is a fault with the hotel but one of culture, I am used to sleeping on a soft bed and the one in the hotel was very firm. Now I must admit it took me two days to get used to it but I did get used to it. Other than that the bed was very comfortable and with down filled pillows a most comfortable sleep indeed. The restaurant did not server supper but that again was not a big issue cause Breakfast and Lunch were always good. The steam room and Jacuzzi were great. The view from the room and near the elevators was super, Shuttle service was great as well. The staff were both friendly informative and extremely courteous and kind, I would gladly recommend this Hotel to anyone, It is well worth your time to stay here, Great value that deserves a Higher Star rating. I have Been in Five star hotels in other countries that don't even come close to the great value of this place. To all the Staff of the Royal View Hotel I want to say Thank You for 9 wonderful days.

Just the fact that I was not used to a firm bed, No big deal.

What I like is the convinience. The hotel offers a fully equiped gym (I felt like I was at a regular gym Virgin actie RED), a Jacuzzi, Steam Room, Sona, Olympic sized swimming pool, resturant on the second floor, amazing views, a kiddies room for my toddler to play, the shuttle is always on time and so much more. We love it so much that we decided to upgrade our room and extend on a month to month for a year.

The booking mentioned that we will be welcomed with welcome drinks which was not the case, that should be ammended because that doesn't seem to happen here. The hotel offers many facilities like a Spa, Balcony and Sky Garden that are not funtional right now, it would be great to have access to all their facilities. I'm a gamer when I'm off work and it was a real buzz killer to see that the XBox and Playstion have both been disconnected.

The location, while far from the station, had a direct shuttle to Tsuen Wan that runs every 10 minutes, so it was never hard to get into the city. They also had microwaves to use in the lobby area, a gym, and a games room for the kids. We were able to borrow umbrellas, and use their washer/dryer room to help do a load of laundry. Staff was always helpful, they gave us a water-view room when I requested, which was very kind of them.

The room fit 4 people comfortably, and we had a sink and a fridge and a long counter, but no where to sit. There is a ledge area by the window, but we used it for our suitcases which took up the whole space. Some seating would be nice, but I do understand the room probably couldn't fit any additional chairs.

The room was spacious and clean. Most of the hotel facilities were unavailable due to maintenance but the staff and service were very good.

Not very conveniently located. A bus ride away from the nearest MTR.

the room is very spacious and comfortable, the free shuttle to the MTR (subway station, goes frequently, making it a perfect tourist hotel. The beach is very close and very clean. The wonderful wellness area, with sauna, jacuzzi and steam bath. The combini like machines on the lobby with delicious food and a microwave. The water machine with fresh and clean water. The perfectly comfortable beds! The gym!

We couldn't use the pool at all. There was no thunderstorm, but it was closed. The breackfast portions are very small and one cannot customise, too much sweet stuff, no choice of vegetables or egg omelette. A very limited menu.

Shuttle bus service into Tseun Wan; games room for children to pass time; quiet around the hotel; staff were helpful and polite. Daily housekeeping and refreshing of towels.

Set menu for breakfast which had the same 3 options for a month. When the restaurant was closed there was no where to sit in the hotel like a coffee lounge to eat food and have a drink. No table in rooms to eat food. The carpets in the hallways/corridor and in the bedrooms need replacing. There are stains in most places and the carpet in our room was damp in some areas. Pillows could be firmer.

Nice hotel and staff, our room wasn't yet ready so manager move us in a higher floor with a sea view which we really appreciate. Location was a bit far from shopping center. Shuttle service really hepls a lot.

This is my second stay to visit family. The hotel is a bit out of the way but the extra travel time is worth it for me. Rooms are airy and large with nice views. It has a feel of being out in the countryside away from the hubbub of the city. Even though you can still hear the distant traffic from the motorway. Nice thoughtful touches e.g. water dispensers. Now also serving hot food and food dispensing machines available. Free shuttle bus runs until 11pm. On the route of airport bus.
