The location, staff, and food were excellent. The reception graciously delivered our breakfast to our rooms, even though it was supposed to be served in the restaurant. Every interaction with the staff was smooth and positive. We also saw more animals in the summer than expected.

The cleanliness of the room could have been better; we found trash from previous guests under the couch. The villa we stayed in (Villa 316) had views of other villas on the sides, which detracted from the feeling of desert seclusion. Additionally, the neighbors were loud, which, although not the hotel's fault, might be a result of the villa layout.

3rd time at this hotel. There are a limited number of hotels that I return to, those that consistently provide a pleasant stay. Hotel is very responsive to correspondence, prior to arrival. We had a totally relaxing, enjoyable experience. The whole team were great, attentative, went out of their way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, with particular attention given to food intolerances. Our thanks to the chefs, the waiters, hosts, very kind in taking great care of us, no exaggeration. We had a very enjoyable evening in the Gobi restaurant, thank you to our host King. Thanks to Joshua for being so helpful, going beyond our expectations. Thanks also to Justin and Rita at breakfast as well as the whole team, I would give them all more than 5* Buggy drivers and valet service on point too, nice to have met them. Housekeeping did a great job, the patio area and pool, table and chairs were clean, despite the breezy dusty weather over the previous days. The coffee machine was clean, no need for a 10 cup flush through, much appreciated. Room temperature was comfortable and easy to adjust. Room service from ordering to delivery in 40 minutes. Food was still hot upon delivery too. It was a great pre knee op break, I made full use of the good sized, cool temp, pool! Nice to meet such a lovely team, a credit to the hotel. We will return again, wishing to staying longer.

The rimal prívate Pool Villa and getting to see the gazelles while swimming. Loved the staff hospitality and cooperation and most importantly their understanding espically that we had a 4 month old baby traveling along. The breakfast was very delicious. Also, there was a complementry dessert that I requested,and found in the room with a beautiful design that we appreciated and it was nice surprise for the wife.

The private pool wasn’t fully private& it’s not fair that I paid for a private pool and it wasn’t fully private. We could see golf cars and sometimes cars passing by,and if there was something to be done regarding the privacy of the pool we weren’t informed about it. Also, We came in 3 hours late for our check in because we couldn’t take our baby out in the hottest times of the day and In return there was no flexibility regarding the matter I had to check out at 1:30. I was in room 108

I loved the location and ambience . The staff are all warm and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble from the room chambermaids, to the room service/dining. The reception are all friendly, professional and efficient and the welcoming team (I must mention Hussein who was lovely and always had a smile on his face) and the men that drive the buggies are polite, friendly and well informed- I really can’t complain! Thank you for marking my birthday - a lovely touch. The rainforest experience is something you must try and the gazelles and camels wandering about is mesmerising! Feels like safari in Africa! The villas at exceptional, the breakfast is 10/10 The oryxes and the birds give it a safari feeling (we were imagining in our heads giraffes and elephants walking around there) And special thanks to the staff! Pablo and his amazing energy! He was the first to meet us at the doors and driving us around, laughing with his laughter)) Pablo you are the best! (Don’t loose more hair!) Sonya at Farmhouse restaurant gave us great advices regarding the wines and paring them with food. Lovely service! And the food was divine! I wanted to take a moment to share our recent experience at The Ritz, where we stayed for a one-night staycation on the 27th of June — right in the heart of the UAE summer. We’re a family of three — my husband, our 12-year-old son, and myself — and we were looking for a short yet meaningful escape over the long weekend. From the moment we arrived, one thing stood out immediately: the incredible people behind this property. Every single interaction — from valet to reception, buggy drivers to housekeeping, the restaurant team to the manager, and the check-out staff — was warm, professional, and left us feeling genuinely welcomed and cared for. One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast experience. The restaurant team was exceptional — extremely switched on, attentive, and warm. They checked in on us multiple times throughout the meal, not just with standard questions, but with genuine interest in making sure we were well looked after. Their approach to service was seamless and gracious, and they elevated the entire experience. The quality of the buffet was also worth noting — a beautifully curated spread with something for every palate. Everything was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and delicious. It truly exceeded our expectations. And the adorable owl attraction near the restaurant added such a whimsical, charming touch — a small but memorable surprise that our son especially loved. The check-out process was another standout. Rather than queueing up at reception, everything was handled in the background while we were transported by buggy straight from our villa to our car. It was smooth, comfortable, and the perfect way to end our stay. And of course, a special shoutout to the buggy drivers — working long hours in intense heat, yet always so cheerful, helpful, and patient. Their positive energy and genuine hospitality truly made a lasting impression on us. The Ritz has set a remarkably high bar for hospitality.

Outside food isn't permitted...so to those who generally order food in.. It may be a bit of a surprise

We had an absolutely amazing stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Al Wadi Desert. It felt like we were lost in our own world, surrounded by nature’s beauty and the peaceful company of gazelles roaming around. No one to disturb us, just pure serenity. The breakfast and food were delicious, and I especially want to mention Venkat and Hemath, who made our experience even more special. They were so friendly and went out of their way to show us many places around the resort. Truly grateful for their hospitality! A perfect escape into nature with luxury and warmth, can’t wait to return!

Location is amazing. Villa was amazing.

Spa is outdated. The fixtures are not up to standard, not clean and not 100% functional. The hydro pool jets are not all functional. The heated relaxation beds were not functioning. For a Ritz Carlton property, it was quite surprising to see. Many of the menu items were not available which was very disappointing.

To be able to stay at a place for 1 night but have it feel like you were there for a whole weekend is something really special. The architecture & styling throughout the whole hotel is beautiful & peaceful. Our villa was incredibly spacious - high ceilings, well laid out with amazing details! The bathroom has amazing natural light that floods the whole room. Also, if you want a spot to chill outside your villa, make sure you pop into the Library space - it's brilliant. The private pool is a winner and makes you feel like you don't have to leave your villa. The bikes are a wonderful fun touch & allow you to explore so easily. But the staff here are on another level. We had 2 issues, one that was quite frustrating and the other a minor mishap & throughout the stay the staff were doing their best to resolve it & not only fix it but turn an unfortunate situation for us as guests into something better. So I'd like to thank Zakarie, Donald, Arn, Pablo, Jeffery, Manisha & all the staff at Al Wadi! I've probably missed others but thank you.

We had an issue with our neighbours playing loud music for all day & into the night which was unfortunate but like I said, the staff did their very best to resolve handle the situation & go beyond to make it up to us. We also had a minor issue with our bikes disappearing from our villa that the staff resolved for us the next morning.
