Just what we needed. A private and secluded stay, extremely relaxing. The staff were very polite and courteous. The outdoor area of the villa was spacious and completely private (depends which villa you choose, the pricier one has bigger outdoor space with a deck at the end with sunbeds overlooking the sea). We went down to the waldorf for jetskiing and I was instantly glad with the decision to stay at the ritz (the waldorf was just too busy and crowded). Our requests at the ritz were accommodated. The barbecue with private chef was a great experience (so much food). I look forward to staying here again. The price was inflated because of the public holiday but i did not mind paying it for the experience we had. Although next time i will book when its not a holiday period. An amazing place to get away and completely relax. The temperature of the pool was perfect. It is very intimate as there is a small amount of staff so by the end of your stay you will know all of them. We loved it. A hidden gem enough for 2 or 3 days. We celebrated our anniversary at The Ritz-Carlton, and it was such a great experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed. They even had a complimentary cake waiting for us in our room, which was such a nice surprise and made our celebration feel even more special. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the BBQ at our villa. The food was fantastic, and the whole experience was just perfect. We also really enjoyed the breakfast each morning—everything was delicious, and the staff at the restaurant were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. I want to give a special shoutout to Juliy at check-in, who was so welcoming and made everything super easy for us. And a big thanks to Amir, our buggy driver, and Gopal—they were both so cheerful and helpful, even in the heat. It was great to see such positive attitudes despite the weather.

There were just a couple of small things that could be improved. We had a special request that we sent through Booking.com, but the hotel didn’t pick up the message in time, so I had to call them directly to get it sorted out. Also, while we love birds, they would come pecking at our window with their beaks early in the morning, which was a bit disturbing when we were trying to sleep in.

I will never forget the romantic getaway we spent here, amazing! From time to time, we try chalets with private pools like al maha resort, banyan tree , rotana al cove etc.. We booked in this resort for 2 nights, and it was spectacular!! The amazing spacious villa with pool, the deck, the huge bathtub outside and private beach access... it was amazing... so romantic ... service was amazing... we were attended to instantly upon calling the reception with any issue. Special thanks to Mr. JAVIS FROM THE RESTAURANT....he was very kind and professional... he entertained our anniversary requests and breakfast requests at the restaurant promptly and generously... All in all, our stay was worth every dirham... and we will definitely do it again..

If there is one thing i would like improved at the price I was paying, I would expect a better breakfast buffet... or at least if they had to deliver breakfast to the room, it shouldn't have been for an extra price since I paid for room and breakfast... Such a super hotel shouldn't charge u for a full breakfast fee just because they are delivering it to your room ( you're sure saving them more food by having a selection of the breakfast delivered to your room than stuffing your face in the buffet area 😀) But in general the hotel was amazing..

the place was fantastic, we were there for new Year eve - lucky us it turned out that RAK broke 2 new world records that night. The staff were all great, from Omar the manager to Mario at the reception, i wish i could remember everyone's name to thank them. loved the serenity and the seclusion of it all, will definitely be returning

something small and stupid; we drove up from Dubai - we got our car returned to us super dirty as it was parked outside, bird poop on it, leaves etc - a quick hose down would have bypassed that -

The resort is nice. The service is very good, and that’s what I appreciate. Husnain in room service, Zubair in engineering were very good and efficient. And Maaz in management was so great. Amr and Salesh in the food services were so very helpful. Both very welcoming and accommodating. Amr was so nice with our kids. Julie and shivraj at front desk were kind and helpful. I was in Villa 3, it’s close to the restaurant and has a door at The beach for more privacy, but at night due to the open area restaurant nearby has noise and smoke. The outside of the villas is very nice. Huge space. Serene and relaxing

The only issue was the villas are a little dated and the light buttons are cumbersome.

We travelled to celebrate my 50th and the service we received from all staff was exceptional. Polina was an absolute star meeting and greeting us for our special occasion and the hotel had set up the room with petals, Champagne, a selection of fruit and a charcuterie board for our arrival all free of charge. We had the most amazing stay, room was stunning, food was delicious and service was exceptional. Thank you all for an amazing birthday, we will be visiting again.

This has become one of my favorite places to stay for relaxation, complete peace, comfort and a great nights sleep. It is firmly on the top of my list and have come 3 different times already, thank you 🙏🏼

The only thing that would be great to improve is the breakfast. To have some more choices that are gluten and dairy free, or known that they are there, would be amazing as it is a little restricting. When using room service this is catered for so well it was great. So only the breakfast knowledge of options. Everything else is always amazing.

If you are looking to have a relaxed beach vacation and some privacy, this is the resort. Everything was amazing. Villa is perfect for laid back holiday. Everything was well kept and maintained. Pool is good to relax. We enjoyed ourselves thoroughly. Will come back for sure.

The blinds on the curtain is next to ac vent so they make noise throughout if your ac is on. Best way is to keep it half way closed and not fully closed which we learned the second day. We informed about it to the manager as well and he assured us to look into it.

The villa is gorgeous and the second you step in, you forget all your problems. This was a magical paradise where you're surrounded by greenery and beautiful birds, total privacy where nobody bothers you, the sea is right there in front of you and the water is so clear you can spot sea turtles coming up to the surface every 2 minutes. The pool was nice and pleasantly heated, surrounded by trees and birds of all kinds. The staff at the Ritz Carlton are possibly the friendliest people you will meet. Each and every person I've talked to was so pleasant and helpful and I'm thankful to all of them. I have celiac disease and the hotel accommodated my dietary needs. Gluten-free options are always available and the restaurant made the right substitutions every time I ordered. A big thank you to everyone at the Ritz Carlton Al-Hamra Resort. I cannot wait to be back.

I'm just splitting hairs here because my entire stay was just magical. If I could make one suggestion, it would be to clean the pool more often. One of the downsides of being surrounded by nature is that the pool gets a little messy quickly. But other than that, everything was just perfect.

this resort is a Maldivian style , it is perfect to spend time with your beloved, villa with private pool the pool is very nice and clean ,the room and the view the garden and the seating areas in the garden , it was charming experiment , I will come back for sure .

the only thing could be better is the breakfast was very limited , but for us it is ok because the food is not our big concern .
