I soon realized I was at a guest house where I could make my own breakfast (all essentials provided) and even cook dinner if I wanted to - which was well worth it because in G. all pubs close early. The view of the Tor is through the dining room window (and one bedroom), the garden is small but a welcome place to breathe and feel the grass under your feet. I was lucky to have the most delightful host welcome me during her summer job.
The 20min walking distance from the center of town felt tiresome on a hot day. I was glad I had booked the Master Bedroom in this former family home, otherwise the space would have felt even tighter than it already was. It was a bit tricky to navigate creaking floorboards and people's sounds due to phone calls or snoring beyond the walls. Most guests were very considerate. Other than that, the four bedrooms have names referring to spiritual paths, the living room was an exhibit of the owner's formative gurus, the sofa cushions worn and the crystals in dear need of cleansing. I couldn't feel the energy. What a pity.

Camelot retreat is for spiritual people for sure. Even though it has strict house rules, such as no shoes, no meat etc, it was a pleasant stay. The host is very kind and does not bother the guests at all. Good kitchen and access to fridge. Nice social area where you can have your breakfast. We got a pretty small room, but the rooms vary in size so make sure you know what you want when you are booking. Very close to the Tor and Glastonbury town. Showers and WC were clean. Very very quiet location, with Tor view from two of the rooms.
Rooms a tad too small for the price you pay. No meat in the retreat so if you want some ham or bacon for breakfast or you want to make a chicken soup in the evening, you should stay somewhere else, The house has very thin walls and you can hear other guests.

We had a lovely stay at the Camelot Retreat – Egyptian Room with a unique touch. Izzie was a warm host, always happy to help with a smile. She kindly accommodated our early check-in and late checkout, and even held our luggage so we could explore the town stress-free. There was a good breakfast spread, with multiple plant-based options to choose from. The dining area was a lovely space to connect with other guests, and there was a beautiful and peaceful crystal room and a handy little library. Izzie was a total superhost, offering local maps, curated suggestions for attractions, coffee spots, dining, and even cab contacts, which came handy. . We’d absolutely stay again when we return to the enchanting town of fairy and Avalon!
It would have been nice to have a separate ensuite bathroom, but we only had to share it with another guest, and it was clean and well kept. There was a slight problem with the hot water flow consistency, but it was fine the next day, and there were clear instructions on operating. Well thought through.

We had an amazing view of the Tor from our room and the beds were so comfortable! Jaya Shree was a wonderful host, she messaged us in advance to make sure we had everything we needed for our stay and was on hand throughout if we had any questions. The breakfast selection was great and the meditation room was a really lovely experience to come back to at the end of the day, especially with the different tools / guides to help you. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere and was in the perfect location! The Tor, White Spring, Chalice Well and high street were all within walking distance. Would definitely recommend this place to others. I travelled with a family member but it was also a great place for solo travellers.

I love the help yourself vibe with the breakfast and drinks. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the host was very welcoming and let us have a much needed lie in, the place is very interesting, love the decor and the theme and the pamphlets and the room full of crystals and spiritual things. All very cool. It was a great location near enough to town centre, near enough to the tor, plenty of parking. We appreciated the very thoughtful fact that gluten free bread was provided for breakfast as my friend is coeliac and we hadn't even mentioned it. Generally all in all great place to stay, would recommend and would return.
Nada. Would have liked to meet the host in person but we were out and about way too much so it was our fault.

Very clean and comfortable, well organised for self-catering. The kitchen is available if someone wishes to cook meals, there is a fridge available for guests' food shopping. Breakfast set up is sufficient, variety of cereals, and toast, yoghurts etc. Very nice adding to begin the day, especially that most of the cafes on main street are open from 10am. Clean bathrooms, one with bath one with shower. Clean bedrooms upstairs. Mine was with a view over a Tor, so waking up to ot felt very special. And, the meditation room is available too. Located near to Chalice Well, Spring Waters, Tor, and main street of Glastonbury. It is truly recommended. The owner is in touch throughout the stay if there are any needs. She is lovely.
Nothing!

Lovely twin-bedded room with a view of Glastonbury Tor (but not all rooms have this, only the two at the front of the house). Self-service breakfast so nice and relaxed, use of the kitchen too. The crystal lounge was amazing, I absolutely loved the crystals everyone, in my room too. Nice quiet, calm energy about the house. Great welcome from the house manager. Ideal location for walking into Glastonbury and up the Tor.
My bedroom door was binding (I think it needs planing) so trying to go for a pee in the night and not wake everyone else up when opening and closing my door was challenging! A non-dairy spread (instead of butter) for breakfast would be good, and something savoury to put on toast (which wasn't jam or cheese), such as marmite, would also be good.

The location is perfect if you want a quiet place just a 15' walk from the bustling town of Glastonbury and 5-10' from Chalice Wells and the start of the uphill trek to the Tor. I shared a double room with my friend and the bed was spacious enough for the both of us. The meditation room is wonderful and there are lots of books to just spend a rainy day indoors if need be. There are 2 bathrooms in the house (WC+bath and WC+shower), 1 upstairs, 1 downstairs, which is great if all 5 rooms are occupied.
The description says there's no parking, which is correct. However, if you plan to go to Glastonbury by car, this is still a good place, as it is located in a residential area and there's always space in the streets nearby to park the car free of charge.

It definitly felt like coming home. Couldn't imagine a better place to calm down, relax and feel the special atmosphere of the little but extraordinary town Glastonbury. Jaya is a very caring and lovely host, so it's been a perfect stay even before our arrival. ♥ We had a room with two single beds and a gorgeous view on Glastonbury Tor, tea making facilities, a shared bathroom with bathtub and a shared kitchen for everybody with guest fridge, cooking facilities ... just like at home. :-) There is no special time for breakfast, so we could prepare ourself the breakfast in the kitchen whenever we woke up, because everything was available: fresh fruits, yoghurt, juice, milk, cheese, toast, cans for baked beans. I surely forgot someting to list. ;-) It's a vegetarian accomodation, which was completely fine for us. So thank you Jaya for this wonderful stay to refill ourselfs with energy. ♥

It was a good location, midway between high street and chalice well. I could easily walk everywhere within 15 minutes. I loved that breakfast had vegan options, and that we could use the kitchen. The person who greeted me was very nice.
Coffee in breakfast was instant coffee, I would have liked real coffee. Walls are very thin, so you can hear other guests, but everyone respected the quiet times. Bed could be a bit more comfy.
