Just a really pleasant surprise! Under 100 dollars all in. We're on a long road trip from Montana to Virginia. We booked the Wingate literally 20 minutes before we arrived. The room was large and spotlessly clean. It had everything you needed. The decor was nice, beds very comfortable. The pool was clean, well positioned, and let's face it, who actually uses the pools often when traveling ... but we did because it was that nice and easy. Small gym, great too. The staff were great. The breakfast was beyond what we anticipated for the usual little buffet .... but the breakfast included had fresh fruit, sausages, biscuits, gravy, waffles, cereal, all kinds of bread products, snack bars, raisins, yogurt, pancakes etc etc. Seriously well stocked, I could go on. Nice big flat screen TV, fridge, microwave, safe et al. For this kind of money, it really was an unexpected pleasure. Hey it's a small neat hotel in Columbia Missouri.... but very well done guys! You should be proud of your cleaning staff, your front desk staff, and your kitchen staff.

Hotel has an odor, swimming pool needs to be redone, not very good breakfast options for us as we have something called alpha-gal (from a tick bite) and this is a true allergy to any mammal products. No dairy, meat, gelatin, etc. Even soaps, shampoos, personal products, etc can make us react. We can eat turkey, chicken, fish, and vegan products. Thank you for at least having some almond milk, one of us has a nut allergy also and they couldn't have any but we are used to that.

I liked that the bed was very comfortable after a long day of driving it was just the thing we needed. The shower was amazing with the rain shower head as well as the regular head. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the room was exceptionally clean and stocked well. The hot tub was closed for resurfacing and the pool may be next on the list as there was some surface damage to the pool floor but the water was warm and we had a great time swimming and playing. The breakfast was delicious with a large variety of options, both hot and cold. Would happily recommend and stay again if given the opportunity!

The only complaints, while we were there the hot tub was out of commission for resurfacing and the outside door was out of order as it wouldn't open with a key card.

Property is well maintained, quiet location with ample parking onsite. Property is near medical complex and off the main road a few miles, a little difficult to locate. Clean good sized bedroom and bathroom, comfortable mattress. Dove products in bathroom were nice. Lobby staff were friendly and helpful with checking in and options, directions to local restaurants. Express checkout was a big plus.

Breakfast bar was subpar. Food items were not replenished for guests. We went 2 hours before ending time and there wasn’t enough food remaining to make just a snack. Another guest I spoke to had also experienced this issue at a previous visit.

We were pleased with our stay overall. The rooms (we had 2) were clean, cozy, and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, as was the customer service. The only reason I am giving a 9 instead of a 10 is because the hot tub was out-of-order and the pool room not especially clean. B eds were awesomely comfortable and hotel was up-to-date! I would definitely return and recommend to others.

No usable hot tub, pool area not as clean as it should have been, unaware of construction in the hallway outside our room. THEY DID FINISH UP BY 4PM, so this was a very minor issue

Our overall stay was great. We were just staying for the night. The stay was pleasant and welcoming. We were immediately told about some issues they were having with TVs and the spa was down for the night. I appreciated them being forthcoming and it didn't effect our stay at all. The room was clean and felt new. The hotel itself was clean and felt new as well. Breckfast was good. (Eggs, potatoes and sausage with biscuitsand gravy). We are rebooking for our return trip.

Limited TV stations but that was understandable with the provider issue I was told about when we checked in.

I love this property and chose it whenever I go to Columbia to see my daughter and granddaughter. The place is a great location and the staff are always accommodating!

The last 2 trips I was disappointed in only one thing. The first trip the hot tub wasn’t working and this trip there was so much chlorine that we couldn’t breathe and could only stay in there about 5 minutes. I was really looking forward to soaking in the hot tub so was sad I really couldn’t.

The breakfast was great. I also liked that the pool had a shower to rinse off there and the hot tub worked.

The fridge in our room was not on when we settled in. I finally figured out that it needed to be turned up and was not broken, but it took a while to get cold and that was concerning to me because we already had people sleeping and did not want to have to move to a different room or let our food go bad. Also, there was a high pitched noise all night, but I couldn't figure out were it was coming from. I was not the only one who heard it.

Hotel was quite clean. Breakfast was amazing. Spacious rooms.

This is purely financial and not about the stay. I had paid an amount of $96.09 through Booking.com. I had paid the amount in full a day before the stay. I had paid for my wife which i stated while booking. This is something we do often with other hotels without issues. when she went there, they did run the card and charged the card $116.08 just as if we had not paid for the room in advance. we followed up when we realized a double charge which we understand, error is to human. However they cancelled the $96.09 transaction and charged the $116.08 which we felt was not fair. They should have cancelled the later payment of $116.08.

IMO this is the best motel chain in the business. On my trip I stayed primarily at Wingate By Wyndham motels. Every one was clean and well staffed and in safe locations. They all had good breakfasts. When planning my trips (usually 2 each year) I budget my stays at around $100 per night. This chain fit my budget and requirements.

Nothing! IMO this is the best motel chain in the business and a reasonably priced.
