I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The room was amazing! The view from the balcony was lovely and so was the pool! The cocktails and the food at the bar/pool was nice! The new night manager Jon Paul was very friendly and helpful he was one of the best staff, always happy to help me! He also spoke very good english

One of the day staff (slim woman, dark hair) was very unapproachable! She made me feel very uncomfortable at times! Breakfast staff didn't speak english, coffee machine at breakfast was temperamental

Brand new! If I understood right I literally was one of the first guests that stay at the hotel as it was the opening of it on the day of my arrival. So well done! So trendy and tasteful! Very ZEN and beautiful, you can see someone put their heart in it, choosing every detail from furniture and accessories to little tea cups and pillows etc. Rooms are spacious and bright, soundproof, beautiful view on the river side. Everyone so kind, friendly and well prepared, and dressed and welcoming, fluent in multiple languages, not only representing the hotel well but themselves too! Never intended to go visit this part of Portugal, literally drove there only because I saw this hotel and needed a nice place to stay and take a break from all the outdated, old places around Portugal and I made the best decision coming here, slept like a baby! Woke up literally considering extending another night and not going anywhere just to enjoy the space more. Congratulations on the opening and all the best luck for the future!

Doesn’t have a restaurant in the hotel, yet I guess, because there is an area for it but there’s plenty options just minutes walk away around this village. They do serve breakfast though that I unfortunately missed just because the bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to get up. Towels were all brand new without wash so left that little fuzz on you after the shower but that’s just my very much ocd preference.

Recommend! Quiet and cute little city, near river bank. Super service, I want to say special thanks Beatriz P. And Aluísio. This good feedback made by these people. Answer for all your questions, try help for all situations. Thanks cleaning lady’s too. Our room was every day new towels and clean.( when I left some coins for cleaning, was every day this money stay, because lady’s didn’t take.:)- this cute. Breakfast was not big, but for me ok. I booked parking, Be very careful when you drive into it. If you have big car, better to leave the car outside. And last, pool and gym - Beautiful views.

Wonderful options at breakfast including a full array of coffee (latte, espresso, Americano, mocha), tea, and fresh juices, hot items (eggs, bacon, potatoes and/or grilled vegetables), and an incredible array of pastries, breads, and cheeses, and meats. The beds were comfortable, the shower was large, clean, and had plenty of hot water. The staff were uniformly pleasant and professional. Loved the convenience of a large free parking lot across the street from the hotel and the variety of local restaurants within easy walking distance.

The pool area was beautiful, but a hot tub would have been a welcome addition. We stayed in late October, and although the pool area was warm, hot water to soak in would have made it even better.

Everything

The only thing that we didnt like was you had to pay for extra teabags, coffee and water to have in your room. We have never experienced it before, perhaps it'sa thing in Portugal but unheard of for us. Usually there is free replenishment when your room is cleaned. Not a big deal as we went and bought our own from the shop as much cheaper. Just good for guests to know beforehand.

Breakfast Coffee machine for latte or cappuccino didn't work the proper way Rooms was clean but on 4 days they only clean twice We had to ask for towels and skip clean later on day due to need the room We left the room for about 4 hours free to be clean in the morning Nice pool but.not.much.place for chairs Also on bathroom (and this I think is problem from the designer) because we had stay couple of times at praia do sal resort and same problems The way doors are open and close making the space on room realye small tied and you can get hurt Just an opinion Probably consider a sliding doors

We liked the bed, it was confy. The pool bar was great too,.especially because of the Brazilian Bartender. She mixed great drinks and was very attentive and creative. The pool was smaller than I thought it would be, but I liked it. We were lucky some kids left right after we arrived. It wouldn't be nice to be around yelling kids there,.since it was a small rooftop.

The reception staff. People who deal with the public should be nice and polite. They seemed impatient and gave us some looks... as if we were bothering them. There was a blond girl on the day we left ,.one with green eyes and curly hair... she was nice and helpful. She tried to organize the "breakfast line" in a nice way. This was a second problem: the area they use as a breakfast restaurant is small. We had to make a reservation to have breakfast and even with the reservation we had to wait to have a table and be able to eat. The restaurant crew was nice and breakfast was good though.

Our Upon Villa Hotel was beautiful! My sister and I enjoyed 10 days there. The staff at the reception was very friendly and helpful. The manager of the hotel was friendly, competent person and the working atmosphere in the hotel is really fantastic. Positive energy, peace and smiles. Our room was super clean, beautifully furnished with the most confortable beds I have ever had in a hotel! The bathroom was beautiful & white clean towels+towels for the pool time. The personnel who maintained the rooms were kind and we could always ask for more towels and whatever else we needed. Our room was on the 1st floor with a lovely view of the river Tejo which reminded us of the sea. We had a wonderful rest and slept great, it was quiet outside at night. The pool on the roof terrace of the hotel is great, nice terrace and bar where you can enjoy magical sunsets. We loved breakfast, which was versatile and more like a brunch. We are vegan and had a great selection of fresh fruits (papaya, pineapple, melon, grapes...), vegetables, as well as various cereals, fresh juices, teas, coffee and more. The breakfast personnel was so friendly and professional, we especially liked Faisal Ali and Amanda. :) By the way, Alcochete is a charming old little town with interesting history, very traditional with soul. You can find nice places to drink or eat, as well as bars on the beach. Public transport: We were only half an hour away from Lisbon by bus or car. Just around the corner from our hotel are bus stations to Lisbon and Setubal, as well as other places nearby. Buses are cheap, clean and uncomplicated choice. Taxi is also not expensive, we often took taxi especially in Lisbon to visit interesting parts of the city. You have to visit Cascais and Setubal, the beaches are magical! We loved walking along the riverside in the evening. Just across the river you see Lisbon, whose lights are reflected at night on the surface of the huge Tejo. The only thing that was annoying were the incredible number of mosquitoes! I always had a fan with me to chase them away.

We had such a wonderful stay at this hotel! Everything felt so fresh and clean from the moment we walked in, and the staff were genuinely warm and welcoming. Our room was incredibly spacious, with a bed that was super comfortable—just what we needed after a long day. Breakfast was spot on, with plenty of tasty options to choose from. And I have to mention the rooftop terrace—it's absolutely breathtaking, with a great bar, pool, and gym. It was the perfect spot to unwind!

Nothing to complain about

I loved the staff of the hotel and just little things. We travelled with our 2 year old and when We arrived at the room, there was everything she could hope for. Bath / coth / bear / chair and even a little shower box. They were alwas friendly and helped out. The swimming pool was perfect for us.

The only thing to mention is that the hotel is not in the centre of lissabon like said before. In 10 minutes driving distance goes the ferry straight to the centre, which was perfect for us.
