The price was very cheap for a room with the bathroom and a parking spot. Of course the location is in a small town near Pavia and there aren’t many things (if any) to do around without a car. The restaurant of the hotel was very good and reasonably priced. The parking spot was convenient. The room, the halls and the restaurant were very clean. The owner was incredibly kind and professional. All considered I would stay there again.

The biggest problem with the hotel is that it really needs a renovation. The room was quite old and not very well maintained; despite that the room was exceptionally clean. Anyway we have to remember that the price for a room is quite cheap so it is totally passable.

A kind and friendly welcome from a helpful host Signor Chierico. The simple rooms have a comfortable bed, great shower and effective air conditioning. There was a very reasonable set menu for dinner. This is a good stop for pilgrims close to the official Via Francigena route.

It was all fine for my needs. The walls were a bit thin so sound travels.

Absolutely wonderful and spotless. The hotel owner is very kind and helpful. The rooms are immaculately clean, and all the towels and linens are freshly ironed. There is a private parking area belonging to the hotel, and it’s free of charge, which means your car is safe. If I come back again, I will definitely stay here.

Many thanks to Angelo for saving our travel and being so calm, friendly and helping! We (my wife, two my sons and I) travelled from Milano and had a car accident on the road. We found this beautiful hotel and restaurant and booked the room. When we arrived in about 15 minutes we were welcomed by Angelo and the room was ready and this was so great for tired and stressed family! In the morning we came downstairs to the restaurant to find generous and delicious breakfast! Even more: Angelo managed to arrange a meeting with local car mechanic in very evening we came. They took my car in the morning and at noon we already continued our travel! The room is comfortable with nice beds and perfect bathroom. Good Wifi signal allowed me to finish my working tasks in the evening. Good heating system. Perfect silent city with beautiful church. All you need is 2 min. walk: store, pharmacy, place to eat. If you go a little farther (30 min. walk or 5 min. with the car) you'll find a great supermarket.

The host is very kind and makes you feel like you are visiting the home of a close friend. Very clean, big size of the room and the bath. Free parking. Good brekfast included in the price. Safe and calm village that is very convinient for visiting Milan, Como, Design Centre Serravalle by car.

The staff is extremely friendly and available. There's a restaurant and parking if needed. Breakfast was included and we highly recommend the cappuccino. You can find a charging station for your electric car about a block away. We will definitely stay with them again and we hope to have the time to eat in their restaurant. 😃

Clean, tidy, warm and friendly staff, plenty of space to park and quiet.

Wi-Fi needs sorting as it doesn’t reach the furthest bedroom (which was mine). Apart from this nitpick, all was brilliant.
