This was beautiful marvelous spacious! Our host and her husband 10+ stars out of 10. The breakfast, homemade Italian cake, with fresh fruit, refrigerator stocked full with milk, cream, yogurt, coffee pods so you make each cup hot fresh and to your specifications. This is a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit extremely comfortable for four adults or family with kids. Or you could have one bedroom and share the common area with a second guest and make new friends. You are in the center of everything! Historical sites, restaurants, grocery, local markets. Buy meal items directly from the baker, the butcher, the farmer’s fields, orchards, and creamery fresh milk, eggs and cheese. Staying here is like living with the locals, conversations, true reality. So if you really want to submerse your self into the Italian lifestyle. This would be the perfect place for a 30, 60, or 90 day stay.

For some the most difficult part might be the flight of stairs to the unit on the second floor. “No Elevator”. But that is part of the Italian experience. When buildings are 200 + years old that is the reality of how the majority of people still live. When in Italy you walk everywhere. So bring good walking shoes.

The bnb is in quite an old building but the rooms are completely renovated. The room was quite spacious and clean. The bathroom was also quite large and more than adequate. The host was great and very kind. She also let us check in way past the "official" time. The location is perfect to explore the city.

The breakfast was a bit on the "lean" side without many options (a fairly standard simple breakfast in Italy). It was not a problem for us, but the stairs to get to the apartment are quite steep and narrow, so maybe avoid if you have mobility issues or are traveling with a small kid.

Letizia is super nice host. Her son and she even also help me carried my luggage up and down the stairs as it's quite narrow and steep. Her breakfast is simple but nice. I really like her apple cake. Yummy 😁😁😁

The stairs is a bit challenging as it's a bit narrow and steep. But you will get used to it.

Very clean and attractive apartment with a nice room, equipped with plenty of mod cons.from cooking facilities to fans, etc. The bathroom (not en suite) is nice with a slightly squeaky door! The owner was there to meet me, show me around and answer my extra questions. The breakfast was very good with some fresh home made cake (nice touch).

Just the location is a little noisy but not too much considering it was summer, in the town centre of a busy university town.

B&B Castellani is very central and at walking distance from everything in Pavia centre. The house is very clean and cozy, the room is spacious, the separate, but private, bathroom is equally spacious and with a nice shower. The apple cake was a very nice breakfast treat.

Fantastic, cozy place. Super clean and comfortable. I got the double room which was spacious, comfy mattress and new pillows, quiet room.. Great breakfast and amenities. Late check-in . Andrea was very welcoming and took his time to have a little chat with me. Letizia was also very kind on the phone and provided me with fast replies. Great location too. I will definitely go back!

The B&B was clean and bright. We liked it so much! Letizia, the host, was kind and helpful, always ready to assist. The location of the B&B is perfect to reach all the tourist’s sights. At the B&B you’ll find everything for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed it so much!

Since it’s city centre, the parking could be 5-7 min away from the location. But it’s not a flaw for those who travels by public transport.

Such a cute little flat. Nicely decorated and had all the facilities you would hope for. Lovely welcome from our hosts who gave us lots of helpful information about the area. Provided us with a lovely breakfast including delicious homemade apple cake.

We loved everything about our visit. Comfy beds, lovely owner, everything was clean and we had everything we needed even access to kitchen with fridge, microwave etc. Location was perfect, right in the centre and everything within walkabout distance. Would recommend to anybody.

Very nice room, location was perfect to reach most of the places in Pavia center, very good breakfast and the staff was very kind to check me in earlier . It was nice to have the entire apartment available. I wish I could have stayed longer.

The stairs to reach the apt was very narrow and steep.
