My wife and I really enjoyed our stay for 5 nights. The staff were very helpful and welcoming. In particular, Mr.Nadarajan, who met us and guided us at the airport, and even at departure. Mr Arjun at front desk and Miss KC, who went out of her way to help us with the room change requested. Mr.Diwakar, the bartender who really made us feel welcome. The Machan restaurant staff were also very attentive and helpful at breakfast each day. The food in both Machan and Loya is superb. The spa, though a little expensive, was also an amazing experience.

The property is resort style and open facing. There appeared to be two problems when it rained while we were there. First the floors became wet, and the floors are non-grip tiles, rendering it slippery and potentially difficult to walk safely when wet. Second, the risk of mosquitoes in wet weather and high temperatures, given the lush vegetation. Also, we ate at the Vietnamese restaurant and we felt the service could have been a little more attentive. And the food standard was mediocre. We were also surprised at the dress code, when diners were in singlet and shorts. It was stated as fine dining, as was the price.

One of the best hotels you can get in Bangalore. Very beautiful and top notch. A unique feature of this place is a really huge amazing garden / park, the biggest one I've ever seen, especially in the center of a big city. Some big old trees were incredible. There is a room in the park full of rabbits one can pet and feed. There are two swimming pools surrounded by beautiful plants, one is restricted to club members (but it was empty and available tbh). You can extend the stay till 14:00 for an extra fee.

Ronak at front desk was brilliant - while I was at work, he took care of the checkin… was my daughter’s birthday, so she was surprised to find a room full of balloons and a cake ! What a surprise ! Then we went for dinner at Blue Ginger - which was fabulous and they also got a small cake for her !!

Requested my teenage daughter to proceed for breakfast & clearly there were lot of guests - issue is that the lady managing the table etc ignored my daughters request to find a table.. when I reached she had plate of fruits but no table; when I spoke to the lady (clearly she was overwhelmed with the morning guest flow), didn’t know what tables were available. I pointed out a table for two right behind her which was available…. Would have loved had the lady at Machan shown interest a bit more esp towards a guest who is not an adult .. but a guest none the less. Guest can’t be walking around looking for a table… it’s not a food court

From the moment I entered the hotel gate, I felt that I had left the city and entered a product that has the scent of history and a relaxing character. It combines luxury and simplicity, and the friendly treatment of the staff makes you feel like you are at home.

I went to the spa and asked if there was a male masseuse. The employee told me yes there is. When I went back to do the massage, another employee told me that all the masseuses are female! They were whispering and I felt that it was suspicious and left.

The location! I've always visited the restaurants at Taj Westend but until I stayed at the property, didn't really realise how astoundingly beautiful its is! Fell in love with the flora and fauna - a tropical paradise for me to explore during the three whole days that I stayed, I'll say, felt short! The Staff was simply the best. Courteous and friendly, some of them went out of the way to make it a great stay for me. And since it happened to be my birthday, I was infinitely pampered at the Taj. Will always remember Harshavardhan (front desk), Krupa & Mumtaz (Housekeeping) and Shivakumar (Concierge) for giving me such a warm welcome!

Just wish the pool had a changing room closeby! It was a tiny bit inconvenient since my room was a long walk away!

Beautiful , peaceful and big property. While close to the action you feel like you are tucked away in a forest away from a bustling city. A special shout out to the concierge service, especially Mohammed, who looked after me and treated me as if I was the only guest, which I was not. He was absolutely brilliant and went out of his way (as far as going to fetch a RCB jersey for me) to make my stay memorable.

Always the best hotel experience when I stay at the Taj. Immediately upgraded. The rooms are spectacular, the tropical grounds are enchanting (especially during monsoon rains), and the buffet is tremendous. The staff is polite and go out of their way to greet you. I was especially surprised when I asked about a flower (heliconia or lobster claw) when walking on the grounds to an employee named Choukanai and she went out of her way to get the plant manager to visit my room and provide me with my very own plant to take home.

The location of the hotel is probably one of the best in the city with a amazing park where you can walk! The room is spacious with all required amenities. Eating at the Taj is a must, at Machan with exceptional personal as Divesh for example, or Blue Ginger for vietnamese cuisine

We had dinner at Blue ginger which was absolutely delicious. The breakfast spread was amazing and the quality of food was impressive. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The towels could be fresher.The ambience at the hotel was serene and calm and the flora and fauna were absolutely stunning. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. All in all a perfect experience

Beautiful property, loved a beautiful old Lord shiva temple hidden in the property.. big space with lots of greenery ducks, rabbits. Spa experience was very good. Breakfast was great,, Chef was creative, House keeping manager Kirti was very kind and attentive.. Madhusudhan concierge was perhaps the best Concierge I met. Extremely attentive.

Front office is the first interaction is critical (even if he is not checking in or not yet a guest) Need improvement. Need Improvement in online Communications.
