It was very very quiet which I appreciated. I always found a parking space even when it was kinda busy.

The carpet in my room was really gross. I think it's too old and matted down. I also had to add an extra night and the rate felt really high, and it was higher than the other nights. I was glad to get the room, but would have preferred at the same rate.

Cleanliness, staff, value. modern electrical and charging outlets. Good choice for attending events at Iowa State. Costco nearby. Take Dayton Road to exit Ames and access US 30 and I-35 as you leave Ames in heavy traffic.

I could not get wifi to work, And TV had good capability but took some time to figure it out, Bed a bit hard for my taste. Friendly staff, Iowa ppl are much nicer than Chicago. always pleasant to spend time in Iowa.

staff was very nice and helpful. couldn’t get tv to work in our room. she came down and got it working.

the door to our room (105) kept sticking and wouldn’t shut and latch when you went in or out. had to slam door. pool was kind of cold. thought it would be warmer then it was. Breakfast area is to congested. A lot of people in there at one time and the bulky chairs don’t help as they have to stick out and people have to try to maneuver getting around people that are sitting.

my hotel room was so clean! I was very impressed, I'm the kind of person that wipes everything down thoroughly when I first get to a hotel. all my wipes were coming back clean! They do a great job cleaning!

Breakfast was fine. First day the waffle mix tasted funny, but second day was okay. Location was very good.

The desk clerk would not give me a receipt, since I went through Booking.com We were only able to stay two of the three nights, and I wanted to be sure we weren't charged for the third night.

Property was immaculate, staff was friendly & efficient and room was comfortable. Great restaurants close by and good breakfast options available.

Room A/c turned too cold. It took a good while to warm the room up!

The staff was friendly. The hot breakfast was very good. I liked the lobby decor. The room was clean and spacious.

My only complaint is that the coffee on Friday morning was cold during breakfast time.

The inside was beautiful, rooms were newly remodeled. The staff was wonderful! Very pleasant!

The outside was very deceiving, was a bit Leary if what may be inside. But the inside was beautiful.

Entrance from Delaware Avenue was not well marked. Didn't know I had to turn into a storage business to get to the hotel. Turned too soon and ended up in the wrong hotel and diner lot. Not everyone uses gps.

Front desk person at check in and check out was very pleasant and thorough.

Not as updated as some other hotels (i.e. bathroom - sink space and walk in shower).
