I can remember walking along the street and seeing this place. I immediately thought – that looks nice! And it was. I was given a very nice welcome when I arrived. The receptionist spoke great English and was very friendly. Checking in was simple and I took the lift to the second floor and found my room, 201. It did not face the street and that actually turned out to be a blessing as the arear outside the hotel was super popular with diners and local residents who congregated around the fountain each night. My room was lovely. Just a small single room but well appointed. Superb bathroom. Really one of the best I have ever seen. Great tiling, a wash hand basin that you could bath in, a superb shower, great toiletries and lovely towels. The bed was super comfy. The a/c was efficient but not too harsh. Crisp linens.

One thing was a let down – breakfast. Some great aspects to it but the fried eggs were cold as if chilled and the toaster did not work. When I am paying good money for a good hotel I expect a good breakfast. That is not unreasonable. That said – I would go back.

The room was nice, clean and spacious. The temperature in the room was perfect. Nicely decorated. We liked the room but the king sized bed was actually 2 beds put together and was sliding down due to age maybe?

The receptionist was rude, the cleaning lady was so grumpy when she asked if we wanted our rooms cleaned and we said yes as we were leaving for the morning. We ordered room service, the food was great however, we ordered 3 entrees and was handed to us one by one. No table set up, no condiments provided and silverwares for 2 only when there were 3 of us. One of us had to eat the salad with a teaspoon from the room. The price is too high for this kind of service! Will not come back.

This is a really nice hotel in a lovely and safe area of the town next to the embassy street. There are a lot of cafes in the area around the hotel, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to the town centre. The room was very big and the bathroom was huge, all very clean and comfortable. All staff we met were helpful, and we appreciate the support with moving our car when there were no parking spaces available. The breakfast was great, and the desserts in the bar was scrumtious.

There is limited parking available but the concierge / doorman was very helpful and would tell you were to park and would help move it later when parking became available.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a very positive experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. The breakfast provided was sufficient, with a good variety of options to start the day. What really stood out to me was the exceptional customer service from all the staff members. From the reception desk to the housekeeping team, everyone was incredibly attentive and responsive. They promptly addressed any concerns we had and went above and beyond to assist us, even printing our boarding passes, which was a great help.

There are a couple of areas for improvement. The divider between the bathroom and toilet needs attention as there was some water spilling onto the floor. Additionally, the electronic pass reader for the elevator should be made more visible for guests.

The hotel is a few minutes walk to Skanderberg Squareand there are a few decent restaurants in proximity. The facilities are really good. The beds are large and very comfortable. The breakfast was good served in a very nice restaurant space.

The hotel is left off a very busy road that we crawled along. The parking was not intuitive and we initially drove beyond the few parking slots into, what we later realised via an irate security guard was the reserved space for the Chinese Ambassador to Albania.

The breakfast was very good but the range was rather limited for a 4* hotel (compared to Hotel Xhako Imperial and Tirana International Hotel where I have stayed before).

There was a lot of hassle to get into my room when I arrived. The key given to me did not work; the replacement key did nto work either; the receptionist came upstairs and his key did not work either!! Eventually the fourth attempt was successful and i got into my room. Then the remote control for the TV did not work (and the TV was on and I could not turn it off to go to sleep). That required another visit to turn the TV off at the back manually. It would be useful if the Hotel could check the remote controls, e.g. by cleaning ladies on a regular basis. Apart from this incidence on the first night, the Hotel was excellent; the staff were very efficient and polite and friendly. The Hotel iteself was also excellent.

as a regular guest of this hotel I cannot praise enough their sense of hospitality and professionalism from the very attentive bell boy , always smiling and service minded receptionists up to a very discreet but professional "invisible" ladies who clean the rooms they sure know how to treat their guests and run their business.... they also regularly upgrade your room...and I am very thankful for such gestures

to be honest - I can not think of any downside of the hotel. It is centrally located, their breakfast is on par with 4 star offering, staff is very professional and hospitable...no real downside I can think of.

Hotel Colesseo is a beautiful hotel with kind,, helpful, and friendly staff, whether they are at the front desk, in housekeeping or a dinner server, all staff are great! It was a pleasure to stay there as I used to live in Tirana and I would walk by the Hotel Colesseo on my way home. Sometimes I would stop for a cappuccino. It was a pleasure to stay there.

I sat down for lunch and every member of the staff joined a birthday party celebration out in front which included the pouring of numerous glasses of champagne leaving the dining room unattended for a good 10 minutes. I got up and left and went to Ring Center for lunch. Operations should not come to a halt for a staff party.

We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colosseo and we would definitely return. The staff at the front desk and restaurant were really friendly and polite, and we were able to enjoy some food at the restaurant before checking in. The room itself was large (bigger than we thought!), with a great bathroom, and an extremely comfortable bed. The selection at breakfast was very good, with plenty of options to choose from. All in all, a lovely relaxing place to stay for a day or two!

Very nice room with beautiful view. Good bed. Very comfortable room and hotel which gives a good feeling. Good location. Nice walk to the center. The staff at the hotel was very friendly. Very good dinner on a nice terrace.

The television didn’t work. They did everything to repair it and it worked.
