By far the most hospitable manager and staff ever. The manager, Gerando, was very friendly and extremely polite and helpful. Each morning he would happily answer questions and give us travel tips. He offered to have a staff member walk us to the bus stop for our day trip! He kindly arranged a taxi transfer back to the airport at a reduced rate. Need to mention Valbona and Seabastjano, both who were very helpful at breakfast time. We were able to order off menu for breakfast. The staff all speak good English. Location is perfect. The bus from the airport stops literally a 1-2 minute walk from the property on a well-lit and popular route. All the local sites are walking distance. Nearby restaurants, convenience shop and exchange. Room was clean with plenty of space. We had a balcony on the garden side. Bathroom was clean and modern. There was a kettle in the room, smart tv and fridge. Highly recommend this hotel. We felt like guests staying with friends!

The bedroom could do with having a larger wardrobe as there was no space for hanging dresses/coats.

We had a wonderful stay at Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel and can’t recommend it highly enough. A special mention must go to Valbona on reception—she is, without doubt, the most friendly and helpful receptionist I have encountered, and I’ve stayed in hundreds of hotels over the years. Nothing is too much trouble for her, and she made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we arrived.The other staff were also very good, but Valbona truly stands out as exceptional. Our superior room was modern, spotlessly clean, and extremely well equipped, with a huge emperor-size bed and a spacious wet room. Breakfast was very good each morning, and it was a real pleasure to sit outside in the peaceful, shaded courtyard. The hotel is perfectly located—just a five-minute walk from Skanderbeg Square, yet tucked away on a quiet side street, so it feels calm and relaxing despite being in the heart of the city. We’d gladly stay here again—highly recommended!

Breakfast was a buffet, and not to my personal taste. Would have been nice to have some breakfast tea available. Not the hotels fault but the challenge of dodging bikes, electric scooters and motor bikes which are on the pavements as well as the roads is scary. Even if you cross a road when the green light is showing it doesn't mean that the cars, bikes, buses etc won't carry on across the zebra crossing. Hotel is tucked behind a main road. The area outside the hotel is a bit rundown and messy, so a nice suprise once you walk through hotel door to find a very pleasant lobby area and friendly staff.

great value for money. The twin room is a bit tight around the beds but room size was good and the bathroom is spacious. The rooms faced the road and was a bit noisy. Great location - walking distance to the main square and 'bus station' to get buses to the main bus terminal. Staff were nice and good basic breakfast.

Air conditioning must be centrally controlled - we couldn't get the room cool enough but didn't ask at reception so they may have been able to fix that. Hotels in Albania don't seem to have hook to hang towels and clothes. Only the wardrobe which was a bit annoying. Overall we liked this place a lot.

This is an excellent hotel which I would recommend to anyone visiting Tirana for any reason. The wonderful staff speaks amazing English, French, as well as Albanian. The hotel is ideally located at the center of the city and within 5 minutes walking distance to the main markets, stores, the downtown mall, and excellent restaurants which have some of the best fresh meat that I have ever had all for a very reasonable price. The hotel also has a beautiful garden where you can sit either in the sun or in the shade to read or work, or just relax.

Sar’Otel Boutique Hotel was everything I expected plus much much more. Hotel is beautiful with a bar and courtyard in back. Just minutes away from Skanderbeg Square and Bunk’Art 2. The hotel was very clean with the rooms being made up everyday. Sar’Otel is also very environmentally friendly in their practices. The thing that made our stay special was the staff. Valbona and Flevia were very accommodating, friendly and welcoming. Both went out of their way to make our stay special. I would definitely stay at Sar’Otel Boutique Hotel again.

It was an extraordinary experience from seamless check-in, spacious room with balcony, to top-notch facilities in the centre of the city attractions. The staff's warm hospitality and attention to detail, especially Gerando Dema, Elsa, and Eldi, was exceptional and made the whole experience memorable. It is the genuine service of staff like Eldi and Elsa that makes this place truly extraordinary. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants value for their money to stay at the Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel.

5-10 min walk to centre. 2 mins walk to bus links and airport transfer buses. Good location. Lovely staff. Easy access. Comfortable bed. Nicely set out rooms. Lots of self-service and unrestricted continental breakfast. Great WiFi. Good satellite TV channels (CNN and BBC News etc). Great room cleaning. Mini bar in room if you wish to use it.

If you are looking to book a balcony, I would choose one of the ‘garden views’ (that overlook the outdoor dining area) as the ‘city view’ ones are overlooked by a very close office block and a road (no view and you can’t really sit out on it).

My mother and I's stay at the Sar'Otel Boutique Hotel was excellent. The staff couldn't do enough for you! From excellent bar service, to friendly reception greetings. All in all, a wonderful place to stay! They couldn't do enough for you. The location was about a 5 minute walk from Skanderberg Square! And a coffee shop just a 1 minute walk away! There is also a 24 hour mini shop just round the corner. A big shoutout to Gerando for his hospitality on the last day! He made our checkout smooth and easy. He also taught us about Albania history! 10/10 would recommend.

The hotel staff were very friendly and all spoke English which helped us a lot. The room was true to the description with a King bed, they were out of rooms with twin but, it was a family trip and there was plenty of room. Showers are warm and with tons of pressure. Even though the hotel is in one of the busiest sections of Tirana, their windows were really sound proof and I heard nothing from outside. During the day I sat on the Balcony and just enjoyed being there. Breakfast was a really long window of 7am to 11 am and that is highly unusual. It was a good buffet with Albanian dishes as well as more well known items. The dining area can probably sit every guest which is a huge plus. One personal story... i misplaced my jacket during one of my many walks around Tirana. I figured I had left it in the cafe area in the hotel but, assumed it was lost. The next morning I saw it placed on a rack for me. Not a huge effort but a thoughtful one. Know you are in a hotel where you will be fine and can really explore a great city.
