Our experience at Hotel Gloria was nothing short of exceptional. The breakfast was truly impressive: varied, fresh, and delicious (as you can see from the photos). One of the highlights was the thoughtful touch when we had to check out at 4:00 AM: the owner prepared a package for us to take along on our early journey. The owner himself deserves special mention. He is extremely friendly, welcoming, and genuinely helpful, going above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home. It’s rare to encounter such warm hospitality. From start to finish, our stay was comfortable, well catered, and memorable. I can wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Gloria to anyone looking for a place that combines quality, comfort, and heartfelt service.

We received a very warm welcome, the staff helped us with our bags to our rooms, which were absolutely spotless and very comfortable. It was great having a mini fridge with complimentary mint infused water. The bathroom had everything you might need, very useful if you have forgotten any essentials!! The rooftop restaurant was stunning, we loved the view and the breakfast was incredible!!! We were all so impressed with the quality and quantity of food. Everything was delicious, and again, the staff were incredibly polite and helpful. We were sad to leave! Thank you Hotel Gloria for a brilliant stay.

Superb service from the staff, very clean and comfortable room, excellent fresh breakfast, a lovely cosy hotel with it's own charm, perfectly located for access to central Tirana whilst being away from noisy streets. Safe onsite parking . A rooftop breakfast room, restaurant and bar with retracting roof and all round opening windows provide a fabulous environment to relax and enjoy breakfast. The restaurant offers a selection of good quality food at excellent value, while due to its setback location it is peaceful and quiet. Well worth a stay to explore Tirana or to visit the restaurant.

Our experience at Hotel Gloria was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. Everything was exactly as described—no surprises, just a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay. The room was cosy and well-appointed, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. One of the best aspects of the hotel is its unbeatable location—right in the heart of the city, surrounded by a wide variety of restaurants and just steps away from many popular tourist attractions. It made getting around incredibly convenient. The true highlight of our stay, however, was breakfast at the hotel’s restaurant. While it wasn’t a buffet, the quality and variety of the food more than made up for it. Everything was incredibly fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and beautifully presented. What made the experience even more special was the waiter—he was exceptionally kind and knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each dish and its origin. You could genuinely see how passionate he is about what he does, which made our mornings feel even more memorable. All in all, I would wholeheartedly recommend Hotel Gloria to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-located place with fantastic service and a breakfast experience you won’t forget. We’ll definitely be back!

Astonishing breakfast - with such a wide variety of ingredients - but what impressed me most was the cleaning lady. I stupidly left my Apple AirPods in the room (and wouldn’t have noticed for hours - and I was leaving that day). She brought them straight to me as I was settling the bill. Then later I realised I (even more stupidly) left my treasured books on the window sill behind the curtain. I returned two hours later to find her with my books, waiting for me to return. Excellent, honest woman. (I gave her a very good tip).

The breakfast was AMAZING! We personally are not a fan of buffet breakfasts and was very glad that they provide you with an individual breakfast. It is present very well. It was all delicious. The owner served the breakfast and gave us a description of each of the items, with most of it being homemade and/or locally sourced. The quality of the breakfast, including the drinks were top notch. The staff we met (owner and his son) were friendly, welcoming and relaxed. The bedroom was comfortable with a cozy feel, it was extremely clean and well presented. We were able to leave our luggage in reception whilst we went out for the day which was really helpful. The WiFi was reliable. The hotel is right by the centre yet still quiet for a good nights sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel and if we return to Tirana we will stay here again.

Small familyrun hotel with only six rooms, just around the corner from the Old Bazaar and five minutes from Skanderbeg Square. The rooms were very nice and fresh, with a welcome mint water bottle. (We stayed in the bigger suite.) But the breakfast was what made this an extraordinary experience - without a doubt the best hotel breakfast we have ever had - and we have travelled a lot, and eaten at many 5* hotels. The owner himself served us, and was wonderfully attentive and friendly, and explained what every item on the plate was. Fresh fruit, bread, omelets and poached eggs (!!!), cheeses, fresh pressed juice, all kinds of coffee, pineapple, kiwis, cakes and tarts… he even threw two glasses in his fathers strong homemade apple raki for good measure! And capped it. Extremely helpful in any matter. Reminds me of a Fawlty Towers where everything works as it should, in a good way! I would not dream of staying somewhere else in my next visit to Tirana

A water boiler in the romm would have made it even better.

👍: •very good location- city centre •amazing breakfast ( organic, fresh, very special for a hotel) , maybe the best i’ve eaten •the room was very clean, a little bit oldish but i knew from the photos 👎🏻 •it was a bit cold untill i found how the climate works • it was no one at the reception when we arrive, we have to look after someone in the hotel for about 10-15 minutes untill we found a man ( I didn’t think it was okay that no one was waiting for us at the reception; I searched the entire hotel for someone until I found someone. It was a man who merely told us where the reception was in a vague way without making it clear, and he didn’t come to help us.) • hard to pay for the service; every day we tried to pay, but they said “tomorrow” every day. We succes to pay in the last day… it was a bit hard, bacause it was a stress this fact ( we tried to pay by card, but the POS wasn’t working; I paid in euros, and they weren’t going to give me change, so they gave me LEK at a very poor exchange rate)

Excellent central location, and surprisingly quiet, with free parking and comfortable bed. A very tasty and exquisitely presented breakfast by a gentleman who introduced himself as our waiter and explained that he and his wife prepared everything fresh. Turned out this modest, friendly man was the owner! Don’t be put off by some comments about lack of manned reception. You might have to climb a few stairs to the restaurant at the top to find someone but this is a family run place not some corporate sterile affair - surely part of travelling! Nb: the side entrance - LHS as you enter the carpark, has two flights of stairs up to the door- this is to the restaurant. The entrance to hotel is on the front of the building off the street. He sent us on our way with our first raki at 9am!!A wonderful start to our Albanian adventure.
