We originally booked two stays in this hotel - one at the beginning of the trip, and one at the end. Unfortunately, in the beginning the hotel was overbooked and an alternative solution was offered nearby. We were not too satisfied about this situation, as we carefully picked this particular hotel as the best one in the center (according to our research :))) but everything was done very well and smoothly - the alternative hotel was really close, room was very good (surely comparable to what we got in Oxford), staff was also very kind. Meanwhile, our luggage was carried to another hotel as well, so overall we were happy with the solution. As for the Oxford hotel, we were upgraded to the suite for our second stay, so my comment is about the suite room. The room was surely very spacious and comfortable, with all needed facilities. It provided a balcony with some typical Tirana center views (some mixture of old and modern buildings, mosque, etc), but it was nice. The staff was very caring, kind, and fulfilled all our requests (ticket printing, ordering a taxi that was perfectly on time and cost less than what we negotiated other times, haha). The location is great - most Tirana attractions are around, as well as shops, restaurants, etc. there is also a nice area with new trendy restaurants and bars no more than 10min on foot.

These are very minor suggestions only looking for perfectness: - cleaning could be done a bit more precisely and attentively as there were some longer black hair still in the shower, as well as some hair and dust behind the bathroom door, the door itself a bit dirty; - slippers could be provided to walk in the room or exit the balcony without using shoes and bringing around more dirt. But generally, no complaints :)

Very comfortable beds and spacious rooms. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location for the city centre and a short walk to Skanderbeg Square for the Xmas market. Breakfast was plentiful although there were a lot of some less familiar breakfast offerings.

The open sided shower cubicle made the bathroom floor soaking wet, as some other reviewers have mentioned. The room cleaning staff turned our air con off on the second day without us realising and the room was freezing. They had done it again the third day too but we at least realised and turned the heating back on.

Oxford Hotel was way better than I expected. Check in was super easy and the staff were lovely, the room was beautiful with soft towels, an amazing shower and the comfiest bed. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice, a terrace with a beautiful view, good coffee and friendly staff who chatted to me about music when I told them I liked the playlist. The location was great, with lots of bars and restaurants, Skanderberg Square and The Pyramid of Tirana within walking distance. Loved everything!

Nothing that I didn't like, this place exceeded my expectations in every way.

The location was super central. The rooms are modern and to a very good standard. The staff was very friendly and helpful always up for a chat. Free parking was arranged for us at the hotel without any problems and this was a huge bonus. The Hotel was a good value for money. Breakfast was nice but could improve a bit however very nice after all. We got upgraded to a bigger room that was very nice of the Respetion.

The main reason for a bit of low scoring was the air conditioning that had a setup timer to disconnect after 180min. I tried to set up the timer, but there is no function. I have to wake up in the night and turn on the air conditioning again. I disliked that the hotel is using paper cups for breakfast at the juice bar. We all try to be environmentally friendly and I would expect just glasses.

The location of this hotel was fantastic and the breakfast was particularly good when served on the roof terrace. The reception staff were very helpful. The room was as expected, comfortable twin beds and a decent shower.

The reception staff booked us a taxi to durres and unfortunately the taxi driver was not great...he got lost on the way and was late to collect us. This is obviously not the hotel's fault but I think they recommend a different taxi company.

The hotel is very central. Rooms & staff were a credit. The amenities at the hotel were good.

The disappointing thing about the room was there were no tea & coffee facilities, considering I booked a superior room I would have expected to be standard. We have stayed at this hotel before & the breakfast last time was so much better than our recent stay, the hot food was cold, some people may like that but it wasn’t to our liking also you are only allowed one coffee or tea with breakfast after that you have to pay for additional coffee.

This is a small budget-friendly place which suited my needs. Breakfast was good enough and well-stocked. Location is walking distance to the Skanderbeg Square and other points of interest.

It was a bit diificult to find due to the ongoing roadworks at front side so you’ll have to be on the lookout for the hotel name clearly affixed on top of the building if you’re coming from main road (and remember which one it is while taxi goes round to the open but very narrow roads). Coffee during breakfast is only free for the first cup.

A small but very cozy hotel. The rooms and bathroom are clean and big. The bed is huge and I slept like a log all the nights here. Great pillows as well. The breakfast is decent enough, with some cold and warm foods such as eggs and sausages and a selection of cheeses and cereal. Good internet as well, great cleaning service. The reception is very nice and always eager to help and facilitate

The thing I hated most was the Parking. The hotel has 4 parking spots that are located on the same narrow road as the hotel. In reality, there are only 3 parking spaces because there is always one that takes 2 spaces. I even hit my car because of an improvised chain that “reserves” the spaces. You cannot reserve the parking space in reality because there are local people coming for coffee and drinks that take up the spaces or even block your car. Maybe next time I will not drive to Tirana... Worst experience in my life (driving there) !!!!!!!!!!!!

Oxford Hotel has a great central location on a quiet street. It is good value for money given its location. The rooftop breakfast room has a great view over Tirana, with the ability to sit outside in warmer weather. Definitely consider staying here if you have a couple of nights in Tirana.

Amazing hotel in Tirana center. Very central location. You have everything at your feet. The breakfast had good variety and well prepared. The staff was helpful. The room and the entire hotel are very clean.

Maybe some balconies need some renovation, but for sure, this is a minor detail.
