The location is pretty good. The center, Toptani Shopping Center and Maritime Plaza are very close by. The hotel was clean and the room was taken care everyday I stayed there. Staff was also nice and helpful. The first room that I good was not good enough so they changed me to a much better one which I appreciate. The wifi was ok. The AC was fully functioning and the bed was comfortable enough.

There is no elevator and the stairs are a bit steep. For me it was fine but it can be a bit difficult for the senior citizens. The breakfast was tasty but it was almost the same everyday. The coffee machine at the breakfast room definitely needs to be changed, if you are a coffee person and enjoy a nice cup of coffee in the morning with your breakfast, the coffee is not the best. As an advice on my side, putting a real espresso machine in the breakfast hall would make the experience so much better.

The location is perfect, you have all the main attractions reachable by walking. Very positive staff and the room was clean when we entered Price-quality ratio was worth it

The hôtel was very much in the centre of the city making it ideal for a short stay. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was lovely- there were many options. The room was splendid and the beds extremely comfortable

I thought I had paid in advance as according to booking.com I had, however the money wasn’t taken from my account and I paid in the hotel. This wasn’t really a problem, just a little confusing!

Loved the quaint decor with loads of wood and original paintings . Very much a personal taste thing. Location is amazing , very close to attractions but quiet small street very characterful . Lovely boiled eggs for breakfast and also fried and local sausage or cereal yoghurt jam and toast. Good coffee ! Generally liked ambience of hotel and friendly staff. Plenty of hot water and good hairdryer. Toiletries provided . Mattressed in second room we had fabulous

I accepted Booking com free upgrade. Huge error. Ended up right on the top floor (have mobility issues) triple room and of lower standard than other rooms ! Not superior at all . However staff very kindly moved us to another room (also single beds ) . Bit hotel fault but you can hear call to prayer from mosque , woke us up Some breakfast items a bit dry , cake and croissants . Spread is margarine and prefer butter

I don't know how old this hotel is, but the architecture is very interesting. The rooms have a rich feeling to them, which is why I picked this hotel. The location is as central as it gets. On that point, I should add that the hotel was very helpful assisting with parking our huge van. The back ally streets in Tirana are rather challenging, but they managed to find a place for it. Make sure to call or text ahead about your parking needs. The downstairs breakfast buffet was excellent.

Great hotel, location and the staff are the best! Location wise perfect! You are within walking distance to the Tirana castle, shopping mall, lots of restaurants and few other attractions. Hotel room/bed was extremely comfortable and very clean. Hotel staff cannnot do enough for you, they looked after all my needs and respected my wishes. In fact doesn't feel like a hotel but just a big house. You are welcomed in as if you were family and the hotel has such a homely vibe. The owners/managers Vladimir, Joli and Igly were extremely professional, kind and friendly. Note this is not a big hotel and those rooms can get snapped up quickly, so book fast if you do not want to be disappointed. If you want to see more of Albania, Vlad will be more than happy to make recommendations, arrange for you and take you on a private tour. If I visit Tirana again I am for sure booking here again!!!

Great location, close to town. Good breakfast and beautiful antique decorations.

The car parking isn't great, they take your key and block a bunch of cars in. We were even told we couldn't take out our car because there was construction around the corner. Upon checkout we had to wait for them to move cars, watched them struggle to start them and move the cars while killing the engine. It was a bit of an ordeal that made me question the ability of the people in charge of the cars and leaving the key with them.

Last weekend, we stayed at the Brilant Antik Hotel in Tirana. And I have to say that choosing this hotel was a very good decision. Of course, we saw all the good reviews this hotel had, so we did have quite high expectations. And I am pleased to say that reality exceeded expectations. 1. Hotel Brilant Antik Hotel is situated in the heart of Tirana, within walking distance of all the main places to see in Tirana. You need about 10 minutes to go to Main Square, New Bazar, and Castle. Although in the centre of the town, the hotel itself stands about 200 meters from the main road, so you do not hear busy street noise. 2. Communication with the hotel From the moment we booked our stay until the last moment of it, there were never problems with fast and efficient communication with the hotel. We got replies on Booking.com, but mainly we stayed in contact with the hotel manager 3. Room. We stayed in the Deluxe Twin Room. And again, it exceeded our expectations. Two huge wooden and very stylish beds, a comfortable mattress, pillow, and duvet. What else would one need to have a good sleep? The room was very tastefully decorated in old Albanian style, with an interesting wooden ornament on the ceiling, wooden chairs, tables, bedside tables, some carpets, and, of course, a huge two-door wooden wardrobe. There was also a minibar and television with access to YouTube and some streaming services (not that we watched it). Room is also equipped with extremely efficient and surprisingly quiet air-con unit. 5. Breakfast. For our own convenience with reservations, we made sure that we would have breakfast included. And again, we do not regret it. Summarizing.The Brilant Antik Hotel is definitely a place we can recommend to anyone. Reasonably priced, perfectly located, and greatly and tastefully decorated, it gives you that good feeling and lets you enjoy your holiday.

The hotel is very well located, in the center but quiet. The room was decorated in an interesting antique style, but the bathroom was modern and functional. The breakfast was a very complete buffet with eggs, sausages, tomatoes, cucumbers, various breads, and croissants, juice, coffee. Several employees speak good English. No problem sleeping. We had arranged for airport pickup, and this went fine.

There was a lack of coordination between the owner, who was not there, and the employees, who had not been informed about the arrangements we had made with the owner. We had arranged a taxi to Berat with the owner, but even though we mentioned it on arriving, the staff didn't know about this and so had not made the arrangements. In the end the owner did find a driver for us, but it was a nuisance.
