It was lovely and quite, the room the first night was lovely but we booked another night when we arrived and had to move rooms and the second room was very tiny but the bathroom was lovely and the bed the second night was nice and quiet 😁

Not sure if it was the bar staff leaving but suddenly a car screamed around the car park stopped outside a young girl got in shouting “ I love ya “ to everyone and with skidding of wheels sped off …. We had just gone to sleep and I’m one of those people that once woken up can’t get back off again. The bed the first night was very creaky and very noisy when you turned over but all in all a lovely stay

The staff were brilliant, very friendly and professional. We stopped with our 4 and 1 year old and the room (11) was plenty big enough for us all. The bathroom has a bath which was a relief for bath time. The food was fantastic, hats off to the chef and staff. There's a little fenced playground at the end of the car park, perfect for burning off the last bit of energy.

The toilet in room 11, the flushing system kept running after a flush. I had to go into the cistern and pull up the feeder to stop the flow. There was something burnt in the kettle, not a massive problem as we could grab a coffee/tea downstairs.

We enjoyed our stay here. The hotel was lovely and welcoming. The staff were lovely and friendly. The accommodation was very nice and comfortable and clean. The food was top notch could not complain one little bit. The breakfast which we had included was one of the English breakfasts iv ever had. We also paid for a meal which was very good value for money and was also very nice. Compliments to the chefs 👩‍🍳 ☺️.

There was not much to do inside or outside the hotel. You definitely need a car.

The location on the edge of the village was nice and quiet , and room, though small, was clean and well serviced . Very friendly staff and dog friendly also . Good food and good breakfast . We enjoyed our stay .Good off-road parking. This is one of our favourite parts of the country .

View from our room was a yard with gas bottles and appeared to be used as a workspace for contractors. Also, on the second night, the tv in the room was not working and was unable to be put right until the next day.

The rooms although quite small were perfectly adequate for us, everything we needed for our stay. Very comfortable bed and great nights sleep had, powerful shower and a great breakfast included in the price. We also had a family meal in the hotel, lovely halloumi fries to start, lasagne and salt and pepper chicken for mains and the chocolate brownie for desert, all delicious.

The extractor fan was not working in the bathroom, which resulted in it getting quite warm, but we forgot to mention it while we were there as everything else was perfect.

We stayed in the one bedroom chalet and it was absolutely lovely! The view was fantastic, the bed was so comfortable and the space was perfect for me, my husband and our 2 small doggies. The management team is so pleasant, the food is brill and the village where it’s located has some of the nicest people! Locay is close to Wast Water which is an absolutely magical place!

The only minor thing we were disappointed at was upon moving in to the chalet, we found that it wasn’t cleaned properly. There were used bottles of drink in the mini fridge and the toilet wasn’t cleaned properly as it still had remnants of whoever used it last. But it was minor and didn’t spoil our stay.

Absolutely stunning location. The pod was brilliant! Was great to have our own space and the terrace area was fabulous for a peaceful morning brew from our room and a evening glass of wine in our own space after long walks. Perfect for our dog, as he had his own gated off grass space infront of the pod so he could relax and play and we didn't have to worry. The staff were so friendly and welcoming couldn't fault them. The bar and restaurant were well presented and a nice place to go and unwind. It's within walking distance of a village shop and local pubs. Food was lovely as well - home cooked chips were beautiful... But the Pod we stayed in was the highlight! Would 100% come back again, was a great place! Thank you to the staff and team!

Bed was slightly uncomfortable but was more than accommodating for our weekend stay - but wouldn't say it was a massive negative

A friendly family owned inn/hotel. The room was ideal for a one night's stay - clean, comfortable and very quiet. Unfortunately, there was a power cut so we were unable to enjoy an evening meal. Instead we ordered a Chinese from nearby and enjoyed it in the dining room. Luckily, by morning the electricity was restored and we were able to sample a lovely well cooked breakfast from an extensive breakfast menu. We will definitely be returning to this lovely place to stay.

Nothing not to like.

Beautiful spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable bed. Staff were just amazing, nothing was too much for them, so helpful. Breakfast was very tasty, quick and hot! We had a meal here and I can so recommend the food, I ate the sea bass, best I've had yet! My daughter had a dirty burger and also said it was the best she's eaten. The playpark is really really good, you need this and it's very rare to find a park like this at any accommodation. I cannot fault this hotel at all, I really have thought of any negatives .. nope.. not one. You will not be disappointed staying here.

We didn't like having to come home. Our younger daughter offered to pay with her pocket money for an extra night!

We stayed in one of the lodges and wow it was perfect. Cleaned daily all the facilities you needed. The view was just stunning. Breakfast was included and great choice available. Catered for allergies well as I'm coeliac it can be an issue but they had gluten free breakfast on menu Ate in evening x2 food was lovely again gluten free, vegetarian and vegan catered for. Plenty of choice. Staff always friendly and polite will definitely be booking in here next time we visit family.

In all honesty there was nothing we didn't like about our stay,
