As a solo, non driving traveller, I couldn't have hoped for better. I arrived by train, and the hosts offered to collect me from the station. However, I'd already booked a taxi, but the offer was greatly appreciated. I had the twin room, and it was perfect for my needs. I have back issues and need an orthopaedic mattress. However, I slept like a baby. It was a full house during my stay, but I couldn't hear a sound from other guests. I'm not a fry-up person, but the other guests said the food was exceptional. I had muesli from a great choice of cereal and was offered fresh fruit to go with it. Also, fresh orange juice, tea, and coffee. The hosts were amazing and very welcoming. I will definitely be staying there again. Money well spent.

Very down-to-earth, welcoming, sociable and hospitable hosts, in a lovely house in a beautiful area. Lovely pets and the house has lots of character. Tasty breakfast..3 course offered, as you choose. :-)

Nothing major at all.... just a few minor improvements to allude to: * Room a tad cold on occasions (small radiator). * It felt a bit awkward needing to 'bother' the hosts (as it felt) to acquire things that many other guest houses make available without request. The hosts were always immediately helpful and made it clear that it was no trouble...but there's the potential for guests to feel awkward to request things like milk and more loo roll * Cups (without saucers and a slightly impractical shape) in room also a bit small and inappropriate for a quick/ sizable drink...and glasses were very small too. Simply a couple of larger glasses and tasteful mugs might make things easier for guests.

We loved the location of this traditional bed and breakfast which was nicely decorated and really handy for getting to the waterfall trail and Ingleborough. Parking was plentiful on the street outside. Breakfast was tasty and cooked to order, the biscuit jar went down a treat too!

Not a complaint, just a suggestion; There were some dogs staying who also came with their owners into the dining room which wasn’t ideal as one was unwell. Milk pots in rooms rather than having to ask for fresh would be handy.

The house was charming and welcoming and our hosts lovely and friendly we were given our room keys and found them clean and comfortable with tea/coffee facilities and a jar of tasty biscuits too, we were out early so would miss breakfast but were offered a sandwich to take with us the first night but next day were treated to fruit juice, cereals, full English followed by toast and jams and plenty of tea or coffee we enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back next t year to conquer those 3 peaks !

What a lovely place to stay. Very welcoming. Went for the 3 peaks challenge as we would be leaving early the owner messaged me and asked what cobs he could make us up and leave in the fridge downstairs. The room was clean and comfortable, so quite it was amazing. Breakfast was amazing on the morning we had it before we left. Would definitely recommend and be using again. Thank you

The breakfast was great and the couple who owned and ran the place were very friendly. They had two wonderful pets, a cat and a dog. The views from my bedroom were beautiful and the guest house is ideally situated for soaking up the atmosphere of the Yorkshire Dales and exploring further. The room was very tastefully decorated and the window seat was a wonderful place to sit and enjoy the view.

It's hard to find fault at all. If pushed I'd say that the bed was a little creaky.

Super Location. Clean and comfortable.

Due to illness, there was no option for a hot breakfast. No toast was available. This is what we paid for and was important for us as we were hiking all day. The hosts kindly offered us a breakfast butty to be made the night before, but a cold breakfast butty wasn't quite the same. Of course, we understood why, but we felt when taking payment, it may have been noble to give us a little bit of discount as they knew we didn't use any of the breakfast servive.

This was an excellent location for us as walkers with plenty of beautiful places nearby. There was also a good selection of places to eat nearby. The room was perfect and we especially enjoyed the tea/coffee supplies. We really appreciated the early breakfast sandwiches that were prepared for us as we were leaving too early one morning to have the main breakfast (which was also delicious). This would be our first choice of guest house if we visit again.

Feel Very welcome when we arrive. Zeena and Tim are sooooo lovely.. so do their dog and cat.. we stay Small double room with our dog and theyre are absolutely beautiful and perfect size, our own private bathroom gorgeous.. Bed so comfortable. Love all them teapots trays, even include the cookies biscuits 😋.. View out window are lovely.. Breakfast are so delicious and plentyful. Local small villages are beautiful, love the waterfall trail walks. Everything's spot on.. we enjoyed so much.. High recommended, definitely definitely coming back again! Thankyou so much!! 🩷

The breakfast was incredible! Absolutely wonderful, and we loved the location and how quiet the guest house was during the evening etc. Lovely views and very cosy.

We were surprised with the smaller size of the room but understand this is not something that could be altered - it is the size that it is! The only recommendation we would make (politely and respectfully as we loved our stay!) would be to consider upgrading the size of the TV as it was very small, and maybe a little more hanging space for clothes. Also, the towels once used had quite an old, musty smell to them which was unpleasant so they could be replaced I think.
