The location was great. The grounds were lovely to sit in, under a tree in the shade watching people float down the Ovens. Close enough to walk into town, far away enough to not hear traffic and the town noises. We were given real milk for our coffee - such a lovely touch, and in a refillable bottle. I loved this thoughtfulness, both for taste and for the environment.

The smoking bins outside the entrance to rooms meant you couldn't open the room's window. The place was full and it seemed to be full of smokers. The rooms were airless with no air flow and the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine. Couldn't sleep because we were too hot, or the a/c screeched and whirred and kept us awake. We were in Room 3 - maybe if you were in a room that looked into the garden this wouldn't be an issue. Overhead fans would be grand!

Close to town, about 10 minute pleasant walk into town along the river or slightly quicker along the road. 5 minutes to walk to Woolworths as well. The room has a nice view of the river. The room was clean and tidy. TV was big but only had the 4 major channels. I would recommend this place as we were quite content here. Would stay again if we came back.

Small Shower. No real kitchen sink and amenities. A bar fridge is in the on suite, and the microwave sits on the fridge. Parking was a little disjointed as you park anywhere you can. Once you work it out it seemed to be OK though.

Great simple Motel room with amazing views. The hotel host were lovely and hospitable. Opened our Riverview room sliding doors and had access to picnic tables and can see the river at our doorstep. Left our sliding door wide open while at the room just so that we could hear the sound of the river flowing. Quick access to walks from the Motel and very short walk into town to all Restaurants and shops. :-)

Although nice a clean and had not problem to use the Shower/Bathroom, it does look that it could do with a bit of an update.

The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean and soft and comfortable with all the amenities. The huge window/doors leading out the river make you feel like you're sleeping in a beautiful garden. The owners are friendly and kind. The river walks are breath-taking. I went to Bright from Melbourne by train and coach - the motel was a five minute walk from the coach stop and the centre of town. Life was easy and beautiful - perfect holiday.

Sad they weren't operating the dining room for breakfast, but understandable - just the two of them and a very busy school holiday weekend.

Lovely view of garden, good sized room, close to everything

I ran out of a bunch of stuff pretty quick- allotting one small milk serve per day is pretty ordinary. Also I hate a shower curtain and wish I’d known it had one. It kept sticking to me. Finally you can hear the person next door using the toilet.

Rooms are pretty clean and big with all facilities including big screen smart TV,wifi, fridge, microwave and kitchen crockery and cutlery. It’s just at walking distance of 500meters from river and main town street with all restaurants and cafeterias nearby. Staff is very helpful and professional . I highly recommend this place to book for stay in bright.

This motel is in a fantastic location overlooking the Ovens River. Sitting out on the upper story balcony with morning coffee watching the river, walkers and birdlife is just great. The rooms are a good size with a comfortable bed and a lounge. It was also quiet at night.

This is an older motel facility and the shower / toilet is compact.

Perfect location for our 5 night stay which was within walking distance to the town, restaurants and supermarket. Our room had a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking the gardens and river. Great walking paths!!!

I LOVE the view from my room. Absolutely beautiful. The owners are very nice and hospitable. It was so lovely to swim in the pool. I was here the first time in November 2021, the pool was dirty. Couldn't swim in there. It was terrible. However, now there are new owners and the pool was sparkling. It is clear the new owners are far superior in their care of the property. I returned because of the view and I was very glad to find the new owners care about the property and it shows. Thank you for a wonderful stay.😊💗

Nothing I didn't like.

Great view of the river and lovely outdoor area. Quiet and relaxing, just a stone's throw to the centre of Bright with an easy walk. Close to places to eat, and the local brewery is just up the road.

Maybe check the shower's supply of body wash. It was nearly empty, but I had extra in my bag.
