Very friendly staff, extremely clean facilities with a comfortable King bed, fully renovated room & shower. No mould, no unpleasant smells, clean carpet, good quality Australian brand soap/tea/coffee & even a Smeg kettle! Well maintained bicycles & helmets were available to ride with no time-limit. The smart TV was new and well positioned.

The swimming pool was lovely but the heating in the Spa was only turned on between 2pm and 7pm. Extended heating duration would be nice. There was a mini bar, fridge, cups and mugs but perhaps bowls, plates and cutlery in the rooms would have been good.

Gorgeous styling. Super comfortable & clean. A really lovely place to stay. The spa and pool surrounded by a beautiful native garden was a real highlight.

It would be nice to squeeze in a little outdoor table and chair set so you could have your cuppa outside & enjoy the wonderful views. It was lovely to have free bikes available to ride. We did see some other places offering the same but with a mix of bikes, including mountain bikes, etc. My husband was a little challenged riding around on a pink bike with a basket. 😂

the bar at the pool area was fantastic, and the lovely gentlemen serving us was at our beck and call for anything we needed. Felt like I was holidaying in a luxurious European resort. Surrounding scenery made it all the more beautiful.

we had an issue with someone parking in our allocated spot, and they argued that they weren't allocated to each unit. Maybe some signage for everyone to park in their units allocated spot could alleviate this problem

i do not eat breakfast so i do not know and the price they charge the breakfast should be included.

the price was too high and i noticed too many empty room because of it its a simple economics and the hotel looked new to me inside but looks old on the outside a bit of render on the bricks will fix this look from the outside, but we loved inside and will recommend to any body to stay at this place.

Our stay at Hara was exceptional - the renovation of the original property is outstanding with great attention to detail. Our favourite aspects:lovely staff, large, exceptionally comfortable rooms, touches of luxury, pool and quality of continental breakfast. Big bonus was it was child free - we love children but it was great to experience the pool as serene place with a very nice cocktail bar!

Looking around most customers seemed to be in our age group 65-75 by which age your eyesight is beginning to fail so a magnifying mirror in the bathroom would be great .An extra towel would be good as most women like to wrap one around there hair. A standard light near the 2 chairs as it was a bit dark for reading .sorry all of this belonged in the next box. I loved the quirkiness of the new fit out loved the quality of the bed linen and the bird lamps

Very clean & friendly staff.

Not able to bring your own drinks around the pool area. Understand no glass around the pool, however not to be able to bring your own drinks in the area just outside the pool area was not good. This is a motel not a resort & if you wanted a drink you had to order from the bar.

Very very clean property. Loved the minimalist fit out but with lots of character in the detail. Pool and spa were beautiful to look at (way too cold for me to use in the heart of winter when we were there). Bed was super comfy, great sheets.

It was advertised as child-free and there was a family with a child in the room next to ours.

Groovy decor, big rooms, on site massages and facials, sauna and heated outdoor spa, bathrobes and slippers supplied, free bike hire, free tennis court. Nice walk into town or 5 min drive. Lots of nice cafes and restaurants.

On site restaurant was not open for late breakfast or lunch, and dinner was expensive.

Location was quiet - 2 km from town centre. Easy walk to town on Rail Trail. Two chairs in room, comfy KS bed, spacious bathroom area, stocked bar fridge. Delicious affordable breakfast. Lots of great restaurants & cafes in town. Variety of shops. Lots of walking trails. Beautiful Autumn leaves.

More choice on dinner menu - then we may have eaten there.
