It was a lovely apartment. My only request / suggestion would be some lamps in the lounge / dining room? The lights were extremely bright.

We drove up from Melbourne on a Friday night and stayed one night in the budget cabin to snowboard the next day — and honestly, this place is perfect! The location is spot on, and the cabin had everything we needed: electric blankets (lifesaver), a great heater, hot shower, smart TV, and even a little dining table. It also has a bunk bed, so it’s ideal if you’re travelling with kids. The interior feels super fresh and way nicer than other budget cabins we’ve stayed in around Bright. It’s such great value for what you get. We’re already booked to come back in a month with a big group and staying for two nights in the villa — and we seriously can’t wait!

We had a great experience staying at Tasman Holiday Park (South Bright). The check-in process was smooth and quick—we got our keys without any hassle or long waiting. The reception staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made a great first impression. Our cabin was spotless—everything was very clean and tidy. The bed sheets, pillows, and towels were fresh, white, and crisp. The kitchen and bathroom were also sparkling clean—honestly, you name it, and it was clean! A lovely touch: before we arrived, the staff had already turned on the heater in our cabin, which made it warm and cozy as soon as we walked in—such a thoughtful gesture, especially in chilly weather. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely come back again. Highly recommend this place if you’re visiting Bright! 🏞️🔥

We booked the 2 bedroom Villa. Great space and modern facilities. Amazing space for a family with separate en-suite and another bathroom. Plenty of room, but cozy at the same time. Having the coffee caravan at the entrance was super convenient and fantastic.

It’s a little further out from centre of town. An easy 15min walk, but a 5 minute drive. Wish there was extra storage in the 2nd bedroom like shelves on the wall above beds to be able to keep phone/book or other items you may need next to your bed. Even a shelf under the TV to place the remote.

Shower has good water pressure and quick to heat up. Plenty of blankets around/towels available. Adequate amount of chairs and we have 2 TVs in the entire cabin ( we did not stay in the nicer villas). The beds are comfortable and clean (we slept on lower bunk beds and parents stayed in double bed room). Staff are very friendly though I am not a local which is a big plus (if you know what I am talking about if you are an experienced traveller ;). Ample parking and there is a pop up cafe just at the entrance for a quick brekkie.

The balcony table and chairs are covered with thick dust. I would understand if they do not need to be cleaned daily but if a guest is going stay maybe the morning before check in time (2pm start of check in), they can be wiped. The 2nd one is for cooking there is only 1 big frying pan and 1 small pot (let’s say to cook 1 instant noodle kind of volume), i did not check the other electrical appliance what it was. Quite minimal compared to other cabins I have been. Lastly, the upper bunk bed felt uncomfortable compared to the lower ones. Sadly, pool was closed due to maintenance and it is not heated up. Not sure of the other pool in the area if it was heated up or also outdoor?

We stayed in a unit and it was too small for a family of 4. It would be ok for 1-2 nights. We also didn’t like how the park was separated from the old and new part by a locked gate. The pools were freezing despite saying that one was heated. I think it was a little bit too $$$ for our liking and the fact that has a new and old part meant it didn’t have the communal feel of a big 4. The kitchen was great and the shower was excellent.

Located very close to town. Perfect location with lovely surroundings. Very spacious park with rides for kids. Separate large shared kitchen with bbq, table tennis(ping pong) and snooker available for fun. Evening atmosphere is even more relaxing as staff prepares bonefire under the stars. Every day morning time just outside the entrance of the park is parked a coffee truck which provides you take away coffee with snacks. Overall perfect accommodation with everything you need and value for money.

Internet signal was dropping that may be due to maintenance works going near to the property. Bunk beds were NOT equipped with electric blankets due to which kids feel more cold.

We loved our stay here, it exceeded our expectations! Perfect for a family of four! Great facilities, comfy beds, brand new, spotlessly clean & everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! Well done!

We checked in after 5pm, the check in map was not clear and not stated anywhere that you needed to leave the main caravan park and drive around the corner to access the entrance to The Retreat on Delany. Clearer check in instructions / map would have been very helpful.

Like pool

I booked 4 villas all together so our 4 families can stay close and enjoy together ,spent $7029 for 3 nights ,but i got 3 villas close to each other and one villa far away from that ,totally other side of the tasman holiday park with very expensive price where all the caravans parked and lots of dust .so please dont do it to anyone next time.i want to add another thing if you can add fan or aircon to second bedroom with the bunkbeds are.it was so so hot and kids couldnt sleep.

Beautiful new, modern cabin that was extremely comfortable for 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Fabulous amenities, really comfortable beds. Great surprise of a tv in the main bedroom and the Nespresso pods for the coffee machine! Amenities were more of a hotel standard than a 'cabin' with toiletries and a hairdryer. Just felt it was a really high standard of accommodation that exceeded our expectations. Cant wait to get back!
