The location proved to be quite convenient for our needs. While the cabins were clean, they seemed a bit small for six people. The bathrooms were consistently clean. The only minor issue was the lack of an outside light on one of the cabins, and we also utilized a heater from a cabin we did not occupy. I had reserved it for two nights. When I mentioned this to the lady in the morning, she seemed rather displeased, with a stern expression and dark sunglasses, which was quite unfriendly, especially compared to the first lady I spoke with. Overall, we had a wonderful weekend celebrating a birthday, complete with fires and a barbecue. We would certainly consider returning in the future.

The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in - perfect for resting after a day snowboarding! I loved the river that flows through the camp too - it was beautiful. I loved how easy it was to checkin - just having the key in the lock on the door was fantastic - I could just rock up and immediately go in to the room. No fussing around waiting for staff and a key. It was brilliant! Value for money is sensational. I also loved the newlook cabins you're installing - i had a peek from the outside - they're really attractive and i'm sure people will love them. Thank you for a great stay.

The outside of the cabins is vrry run down. It made me think the inside would also be shabby but inside the cabins is so nice and clean, you let yourself down by having the 1st impression of the cabins a negative one. Also the doors of the cabins are not very secure. I personally didn't mind but I can imagine some people may worry about their safety.

Cheap, good location. Easy to book and organise.

The room was a bit too small and cramped, minimal storage space, and some sort of bench or table would've been good, for using a laptop on. And perhaps some street lighting could be an improvement, to ease finding the toilet block and laundry etc.

The beds were so comfy with electric blankets to take off the winter chill when we arrived late at night. The oil heater was also on in our cosy little room. Unlimited shower time was a bonus.

The rain had made the driveways muddy.

If your wife/partner is a camping kind of person rather than a glamper they'll enjoy the cabins. Great place to stay if your going to the Great for Bright Rod Run. Staff are welcoming, helpful and easy to chat to if you have any issues. Saturday and Sunday, Elissa's 3 Chords Kiosk was parked next to the main entrance. Great coffee and light breakfast choices.

Make sure your wife/partner knows what their walking into before you get there. Be aware. Booked and paid for cabin through Booking.com months before the stay. Shortly after arrival received 2 emails via Booking.com stating payment had been declined. Staff at the park had it sorted in a nano second, the issue was Booking.com.

It was convenient to all the local leisure activities

It’s still in a state of being done up, so a bit rustic and dusty. But you can see the work is being done and it’s going to turn out great.

Option for upgrade made it much more pleasurable as the first room was far to hot and small . The maintenance man was the nicest man and so incredibly helpful

Camp crusty was a complete shock when we turned up. It's run down beyond repair and looks like you've stepped back into the 80's. But after staying there for a few days I really fell in love with the place. It's got a great atmosphere, the cabins are clean and the beds comfy. Bathroom facilities have been renovated and work well. We were also allowed our dog, even in the cabins.

This place needs A LOT of work !!! It could be absolutely amazing if some real money was spent on it. The buildings a in disrepair and I don't know how the place hasn't been condemned.

We were there for bike riding so the location couldn’t get any closer. Great place to stay if your in bright for mtb riding.

Tv didn’t have a remote. But who cares wasn’t there for watching telly

As a family of mountain bikers, it’s location is fantastic. The cabins are clean, with kettles, toasters, microwaves and a bar fridge for the family rooms. It’s safe for the kids to ride around the property and there is always a chance for our kids to meet other like minded kids.
