A wonderful blend of hotel comfort and Airbnb-style charm. The building itself is in an incredibly quiet area, right by a river and a small park, where you can take peaceful walks and enjoy the tranquility and unique architecture of the city. This small, yet stunning town has a beautifully atmospheric vibe. The staff is exceptionally attentive—Dana was especially kind and welcoming; although we arrived late, we were warmly greeted and given many helpful tips. The cozy room is well-equipped with a kettle, coffee machine, and a complete set of dishes (including coffee and tea cups, plates, spoons, forks, and knives). It also has a full-size refrigerator, a stove for cooking, and even a dishwasher, which made it incredibly convenient. I also want to highlight that the hotel interior feels brand new and has an elevator. Everything works flawlessly; it's high-quality, clean, and peaceful. The bed is comfortable, and the bedding is excellent. I now wholeheartedly recommend this place to all my friends. Thank you for a delightful stay during our travels!

It was such a peaceful place to stay. There was plenty of room. The neighborhood was so cute and quiet. Easy to get to the Boston College campus where I was going during the day. Dana was so very helpful when we checked in. Very friendly, giving us some local advice on what to see and do in the area. Easy access to the locked front door and my room. Felt very safe for me to be coming and going by myself. Very cute place.... I hope to stay there again!

If I didn't have breakfast provided at the college, not having a breakfast provided would be a little inconvenient. But I was told in email ahead of time so I knew what to expect. It wasn't a deal breaker for me. And I could have brought things to make in the cute little kitchen. Just something to mention.

The property was well located and everything was easy to follow

It seems a little understaffed. But they do seem to get by okay. I could do with an update to reflect the price that you pay. I also didn’t like the fact that the duvet had no cover on it but it just had the sheet on underneath. I can’t imagine a place like that washing the duvet every time they have someone stay over so it’s difficult to understand why they don’t put a cover on the duvet so that that gets changed. I was worried that I was sleeping on a duvet that someone had used the night before which doesn’t feel very clean.

Exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, really great shower and shampoo/ conditioner; full- sized refrigerator with full freezer, stove, toaster, microwave, within walking distance to many shops, restaurants, pharmacy, grocery store. Shout out to Dana at the front desk who was very helpful, warm and friendly. The Charles River runs behind the hotel and there is an access path. Also, lovely backyard to the hotel with two picnic tables.Love the sustainability practices at this hotel too.

Unfortunately, there's no housekeeping during the stay but housekeeping does come between guests' stays. There's no breakfast and only one person at the front desk and for limited hours though there's a number to call if needed and they are responding.

Perfect place to stay in the Boston area! Crescent Suites is a 15 min. drive to Fenway Park! Moody St. is a 3-5 minute walk with many restaurants to choose from. Staff was friendly and helpful and the room was super clean. We'll definitely be back! Thank you!! Eric & Noreen

Breakfast is not currently being served but the manager recommended some great restaurants in the town. Our room included a kitchen (full-size refrigerator, oven, sink, microwave), which was nice to have. Our room felt like a mini-apartment (kitchen, dining area with table and chairs), bathroom, bedroom with 2 queen beds, a desk and chair, a dresser, flat-screen TV).

The bedding (sheets, comforter, pillows) felt a little unsubstantial but the bed overall was pretty comfortable. There were blankets in the closet. There is currently no daily housekeeping so we did a bit of our own to keep things tidy during our stay (not really a big deal for us, though).

Check-in: we came very late but the contactless check-in process was easy and secure. Room: spacious, a desk for working and a table for eating, a kitchen for brewing coffee or tea, warming leftover, etc. Bathroom: spacious and carefully arranged for bath towels and preventing water leak. Location: although it's a 20+ min drive from our daughter's home in Boston, the location is next to Charles River trail, water front, historical industrial place, and a nice downtown street of Waltham with many restaurants to choose from. Owner: very thoughtful to provide the local information and went every effort to make us stay comfortable. The hotel has free parking and elevator that is mobility friendly.

Quiet, great location with path on the Charles River and restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking. Comfortable beds and good kitchen.

Price seemed high (comparable to nice large airbnb price) but just one large room and tiny bathroom. We stayed a week and our rug really needed a vacuuming but there is no cleaning service. I used a broom but it didn't work well. We did receive a bag with clean towels and toiletries which was appreciated.

Very affordable during Head of the Charles weekend. Liked staying in a quaint town instead of out in chain hotel land. It was great having a kitchen area with table and chairs. Parking was handy. Nice bathroom. Comfy beds. Close to Cambridge, but at 8am it took a good 30 minutes to get to Harvard Square. There's a bike path along the Charles River, so if you wanted to bike or do a long walk, you could.

I thought there was going to be breakfast. Luckily, we had food with us. Many local breakfast options were shared by staff, but we didn't have time. The hotel had also gone to a self- check in. A bit of traffic noise.

Check-in and out were easy; the manager was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Suite was a nice size with a well-equipped kitchen. Nice location, close to the river, and many ammenities.

Place is severely understaffed at the moment, which I realize is not their fault, but due to this, the, café was closed, no breakfast is available, and no 24-hour reception. Also, there are no daily housekeeping services, only towel service, which travelers should be aware of...
