Perfect getaway location! We stayed in a bungalow, super clean, very spacious and the beds were super comfortable. There was a small kitchenette area with a microwave, fridge, a Nespresso coffee machine and plenty of kitchenware. We had a private balcony with a table, a beautiful view and where we enjoyed a lovely sunset. There was also a pool area with lounge chairs, again very well kept and clean. Perfect for both adults and kids. The breakfast was included and brought to our balcony area every morning, delicious! Although we didn't use it, there was a barbeque area available if guests wanted to use it. Six minutes drive from Batalha Monestary, supermarkets and restaurants. Fátima and Nazaré beach 30 minutes ish away. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a quiet quality break and I hope I'm able to go back next summer. Thank you to Willem for being such a great host!

Willem was a wonderful host! Him and his wife have built from the bottom up, the most gorgeous small resort like space. The beds were wonderful, the food was homemade and fabulous, and the view was just breathtaking. We are a bit spoiled and are used to a large sleeping space, so we would probably book a bungalow for next time, as our room (#2) was a bit small for us, we like to spread out a little more. This of course is a personal preference and I'm sure others would think the room was perfect for them. It was a lovely stay at an incredibly reasonable price, you really can't go wrong!

Very nice view, well maintained surroundings, clean, parking right next to a your "house", attentive guest with good advice what to visit, which is starting to be rare in the "travel world".

We would appreciate earlier breakfasts, we've managed to negotiate 08:30 :D . Our green house was close to the septic tank, my sister and mother said they could feel some odor from time to time. I couldn't smell anything. I didn't like the sliding door to the toilet. They look great, they isolate sound terribly. Soooo .... maybe you know, not best for fresh couples :D

Really surprised by this brilliant guest house and location in Batalha. We booked it as a place with a pool to spend a few days between trips to Lisbon and Porto - what a great decision. There's so much more to do in the area than we realised. It's rural but easy access to the silver coast and surrounded by history and adventure. Our two teenagers loved being at the poolside and felt really safe here. We stayed for four nights and could easily have stayed longer, visiting lots of places nearby. We timed it well with the big Festa to celebrate the battle of albujarrato so there was music every night in town. This area is great value for money for eating out compared to the big cities. Loved it and would definitely go back and recommend it to others. Having breakfast cooked for you is a great treat too. Beautiful location and views.

You definitely need a car to explore here. Bit far to work into the centre of town (in the heat and back up hill) but there is a local small bar and a small restaurant in walking distance.

Loved the breakfast, it was the right amount, had lots of variety. Fruit, breads, cheese, meat, coffee, juice, and a terrific omelet. Location was great for us because we had a car and could get into town for dinner, stores, etc. but if you don't have a car, it will be a bit of a walk. Enjoyed a terrific sunset from our room on the balcony, wish we could have another! Our host, William, was very gracious and helpful. I appreciated him taking the time to talk to us and give some tips about the local area.

The location is nice with a beautiful view to Batalha and the monastery, and the owner William is super nice. Breakfast is wonderful.

The hot water in the shower does not have a lot of pressure. I don't know if it's always like that or if it was a problem just during our stay. Also, even though it says on booking.com that there is electric vehicle charging, this is only for the bungalows and not for the rooms. Still this was not a problem because the owner, William helped us find a solution to charge our car.

The property is up on hill with beautiful view of the valley and town below as well as olive trees The property had 4 private bungalows over looking the pool as well as main lodge that had additional 3-4 rooms The guest house was built and is managed by the owner , who is wonderful host He had many suggestions for places to visit and eat We had such a lovely time and will return on our next trip to Portugal

Breakfast was delicious, assorted everyday, and the owner went to great length to accommodate our child's allergy with several healthy options. The pool was clean and the shared spaces were lovely, the view was breathtaking. The room was big, the decor was comfy and stylish, wonderful for a few days relaxing.

What a stunning location! Beautiful view, tranquil and yet just minutes away to Batalha. Our hosts William and Monique were very welcoming. We had a choice of where we wanted to have our excellent breakfast and were served poolside both mornings. We decided to do the upgrade to the cabin and were very glad we did. Excellent selection of wines on site and William was very helpful in selecting something to our taste. We will definitely stay again when in that area as there was much to explore and do.

We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was a great choice! All the amenities of a hotel with the basic comforts of home, like a coffee machine and a refrigerator. Great breakfast served in our room every morning, with warm bread and pastries, croissants, freshly boiled eggs, fresh fruit, homemade orange juice, etc. There was also a very nice private varanda with a table and chairs, where one can appreciate the sunset and the Batalha Monastery in the distance. Spacious pool area, perfect for a relaxing day.
