The service was very friendly and my questions were answered promptly and professionally. The location is awesome and the pub downstairs is great!

I wish there was a bathtub/shower instead of simply a shower. Small thing.

Dinner was great - nice to find availability of vegan and gluten free foods. Great dessert!

Price for meal was high, but what place isn't these days? Everything else was fine. Would have been even better if the restaurant was also open for breakfast (we brought our own simple food for this).

We left a few things in the room, and the hotel staff managed to save it for us and return it. We also liked that it is a hotel with a long history of existence, which gives this conveniently located place a patina of the past and some special aura.

Did not use wifi The check in went great nice friendly people gave me a glass for my room so I did not have to use plastic Got locked out and they came very quickly to let me back in I would go back again

Nothing it was good

The cleanliness of the room was truly exceptional and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a cute location in town with a nice parking area and the young man that checked me in was lovely. I was very happy to find a mini fridge and microwave in my room.

The air conditioning in the room was right over the bed and quite chilly and I couldn’t figure out how to warm it up.

Comfortable room. Great little town with a nice river walk trail/hike. Fun brewery a block away.

Went above and beyond. I had already spent 3 and half hours driving in terrible weather and when I got to Minden, I couldn’t risk it anymore with my two children. I booked a room and went to the hotel to find it closed, already past check in time. I called and the owner had the staff come over quickly and set a room up for us so that we had a safe place to stay and get out of the weather! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have stayed in at a hotel and the bedding was just as comfortable! Thank you for turning a nightmare into an adventure I’ll never forget. You can’t beat the small town hospitality! Very much more than what I expected for a last minute impromptu booking.

The room was warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the deep soaker tub was delicious treat. The staff were so great!
