Just as we expected for an overnight stay before heading off to the islands - small clean room overlooking the water, few minutes drive from the airport. Staff was friendly and accommodating; pickup and drop off were very convenient and part of the cost. There was a cute little shop across the hotel by the beach that sold ice cream and shakes; it was nice to grab something from there and sit by the water.

Breakfast at the top floor - while the food was decent, the open area was very hot and hit by direct sunlight so our meal wasn’t very comfortable. Blinds would be great

The hotel was very clean, staff were friendly and the location was perfect. Great view from the restaurant. I loved that they have single rooms, they are small, but ideal for solo travel.

I wish there was a nicer view from the window, but it wasn't a big deal.

I recently stayed at Summer Beach Hotel in the Maldives for a vacation focused on rest and enjoyment. I booked a sea-view room with a balcony, and the hotel provided complimentary airport transfers. A friendly staff member welcomed us at the airport and assisted us all the way to the hotel, which is conveniently located just 10–15 minutes away. The breakfast was enjoyable, and the overall hospitality was excellent. While I was initially disappointed that I couldn’t swim at the nearby beach due to clothing restrictions, the receptionist, Emerald, went above and beyond to assist me. She recommended visiting Crossroads Island, a beautiful and amazing nearby destination, and guided me through the entire process. Thanks to her help, I was able to take a free ferry just a 4-minute walk from the hotel (reservation required), and access a beach and pool with a minimum $25 day pass, which also included free Wi-Fi and other amenities. Special thanks to Emerald, Hari (who was always attentive and attending my needs whither out even asking which was impressive, Emily (who kindly offered me a fruit platter without being asked she was very very nice , and Rony, the supervisor, who ensured all guests were comfortable and took care of. I also appreciate the housekeeping staff for keeping my room spotless, fresh and smells nice especially the kind lady on the third floor, whose name I, unfortunately, didn’t catch. I also appreciated the floor access system that ensures privacy for each guest level. Overall, the entire team made my trip truly memorable. I look forward to returning with friends in the future. 5-Star Stay at Summer Beach Resort – Highly Recommended for Divers and Couples! I had a truly memorable stay at Summer Beach Resort in Malé! From the moment we arrived, the staff impressed us with their warm hospitality – everyone was super friendly and polite. Check-in was seamless, and we were welcomed with smiles and efficiency. The hotel is very clean and strategically located right in the heart of Malé town, with stunning views of the sea. It's incredibly convenient, especially for those planning early excursions or exploring the city. Best of all, it’s great value for money considering the location and quality of service. A special shoutout to the team for going the extra mile – I had informed them in advance about my wedding anniversary, and they surprised us with a beautifully decorated bed and a complimentary cake. It was such a thoughtful touch that made our celebration extra special. Another highlight was the morning I had to leave early for a diving trip. The staff made a special arrangement with the kitchen to prepare a packed breakfast – complete with a sandwich, fresh fruits, and orange juice – which we could take to the dive centre. Their attention to detail and care truly stood out. Got another surprise on the day we check out from the hotel. My wife left her wedding ring in the hotel room. The housekeeping staff for my room 501 was very honest. She immediately rush down to the lobby and pass the ring back to us. Didn't know the name or the staff but truly appreciate her honesty ❤️ I would definitely book this hotel again whenever I return to the Maldives for diving. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, welcoming, and well-located place to stay in Malé!

We stay here for one night as a transit rest because there is no seaplane in the afternoon. The location is next to a beach that had a music event o the day we stay so it is quite busy but on a normal day it would be very quiet. The room has a good view of the beach. Hotel provides taxi transfer from and to the airport. The dinner in the top floor is superb but the food takes a bit of time to arrive. The waiter serving our dinner was very nice. We are happy with our stay.

The Thai Milk tea was really really sweet. We need to put a lot of ice to get to the level we like. But the waiter was happy to provide a bucket of ice for us.

The complimentary airport shuttle and proximity to the airport was a huge plus. Service was friendly and efficient. Bed was comfortable and room was well appointed. Perfect place to stay for the night when you're transiting on from Male.

The standard single room was incredibly small! I had to store my luggage in front of the door as there was no other space in the room to open it up. Two other members in my family were in a double room which was larger and better, but neither room had the patio or full view of the water as promoted in their ads...but I may not have booked those rooms either. Again, it did the trick. Safe, clean, secure and friendly.

Excellent pre-arrival communication and information. Airport transfer service waiting upon arrival at Male Airport, and just 10 minutes or so drive to hotel. Friendly welcome at the hotel and easy check-in process. Well-furnished and tastefully decorated hotel and room. Room was compact but well-stocked with amenities, well stocked fridge and an excellent shower room. Slippers, and good quality towels & robes available. Good wifi. Nice restaurant on 9th floor with extensive menu to suit most choices, and great views over surrounding area.

My single standard room was a little compact but perfectly acceptable for my one night stay.

Helpful and kind staff, pleasant and quick check in process. Our average size double room was spotlessly clean and well equipped. We booked it with breakfast but eventually it turned out that we had a too early flight to have it at the hotel. Nevertheless, we were kindly provided with breakfast bags. The complimentary airport shuttle provided by the hotel is a plus. Summer Beach Maldives was a perfect choice for one night for us before heading for the island vacation.

Noisy room. Our room faced a busy street (the main street where the hotel is located) and the windows were not blocking street noises almost at all. Therefore it was difficult to fall asleep and both of us woke a few times even during the night.

Great small hotel in a rather good location. We chose it because it was central enough to be able to walk to the main square to enjoy the principal city attractions, but at the same time, easy to get on our way to the airport. In addition, the hotel offers shuttle transport from and to the airport. The rooms were a bit small, but since we were only there to sleep, that did not bother us much. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the check-in process went very smoothly. We were there quite early, but they took care of our luggage for us and put it in our rooms when they were ready. In the meantime we could enjoy a walk to the city. The views from the restaurant are rather impressive.

The rooms are small, but I guess on an island it is important to always use space efficiently. The windows in the room were rather small, but again, good for more efficient conditioning of the temperature in a tropical climate.
