Elegant facade, quirky yet chic lobby, beautiful rooftop bar, comfortable and spacious room. Felt like a Wes Anderson film set :) Danielle at the front desk could not have been more friendly and helpful. We loved her! She put our experience over the top into “exceptional” territory. Valet staff was great, too.

Loved the shower and bath products… Only complaint is there is no hand held shower, just the overhead. It was fine but for a well designed boutique hotel like this, it would add to the luxury shower experience.

Beautiful hotel, newly converted from a 19th century bank building. The public rooms are handsome, the bedrooms comfortable and well-stocked with bath supplies, coffee, etc. The restaurant has terrific food and attentive service. The front desk staff were helpful in finding our way around the area. Coffee and pastries on offer in the morning an unexpected treat.

We weren’t prepared for valet parking only, but may have missed that in info available. It did work well, though added time.

the staff and management were extremely understanding when we found some personal items left behind in our room. when we reported the items to the front desk staff they applied a discount and then another discount was applied later by the manager when the staffer told them what occurred. i was very pleased with their attentiveness and willingness to make the situation right with us.

Upon check in the man who valeted my car was waiting for us in the rain. Carried my bags and was so friendly. Upon check out the young lady “J” at the front desk had my car waiting and I hadn’t even asked for it yet. Excellent service! Very charming hotel.

Would have liked ice. Looked for machine and didn’t see sign about us until it was too late.

The banging of the gym equipment directly over our bedroom (305) and the noise level from the patio bar was quite noticeable being above the room. Not enough sound proofing especially on the weekend. The pillows are way too huge and the loft makes it hard to sleep as they keep your head almost vertical.

Clean. New. Smells good. Friendly and helpful staff. Great food in the restaurant. Manager Chris is first class.

No room service or laundry service.

Everything. The rooftop bar, speakeasy in basement, the staff were very attentive and friendly. I loved it and don’t get me started about the bathroom products. I’m the harshest hotel critic around but I will always stay here now when in the Wilmington area.

No negatives at all.

Only had the outrageous sticky buns!!!! We enjoyed the Lavassa set up although the machine is awfully noisy.

Valet was slow but accommodating. The restaurant closes way too early. I had to walk to find food around 9:30.

rooms were excellent. decor was exceptional.

the roof bar was closed for private parties. no acceptable to close public amenity spaces to hotel guests. rethink this in the future and make it known to guests in advance that they will not have use of the entire facility.
