Felt like an apartment, there was a full kitchen equipped with some dishes to use. Separate rooms for bath and toilet was appreciated. Spacious and comfortable for our group. Room had wifi. 7eleven right next door was nice, though not open 24 hours. Air purifier and temperature control were good.
Parking area is very small, though we got lucky and got a spot both nights. There was lots of room to hang dry clothing but only four hangers, so we could not wash all of our delicate clothes at once without having to buy our own hangers. The beds were a bit hard and the ladders for the bunks did not feel very secure when climbing. The self check-in was a bit awkward, and was made more difficult due to my phone dying before we reached the location, so we had to put in a new email from the group to receive our code. Make sure that you have a charged device with cell service or pocket wifi to be able to do this if you book here.

We stayed at the Asahikawa Koto on a Friday night in June. It was just a 15-minute walk from the station, and conveniently, there’s a supermarket on the way where you can pick up essentials. The room was clean, spacious, and excellent value for money. Check-in was handled via a touchscreen monitor in the entrance, which was simple and straightforward. After several days of eating out in Hokkaido, we really appreciated having access to a kitchen. That night, we cooked up a tasty Japanese curry — a nice change! Our only feedback would be that it would’ve been even better with one more small pot, some basic cutlery, cooking oil, and salt and pepper. These small additions would have made cooking much easier. Overall, a lovely stay. Thank you very much!

Great for a short overnight stay. Toilet and shower are separate which was useful for our party of 4. A convenience store very close by. Parking was first come first served and we got one. Very clean. Towels, toothbrushes and chopsticks provided. Not many cooking utensils which did not matter to us. Host communication was FANTASTIC!
Wish there was a sink in the toilet and a couple of spoons and forks in the kitchen would have been helpful. Thin mattresses and just one pillow each. Mine looked more like a cushion but did not really matter since it was just for a night.

Big rooms due to the bunk bed layout. Do choose the washing machine room type if you need. Easy and fast self check in.
Parking is only 3 cars and are likely occupied. Nearest Times parking behind the building is expensive on weekdays(1500yen a day cut off at midnight so it will be more than 2500yen if you park overnight). Cheaper parking is a few blocks away nearer to the train station at 700yen a day cut off at 6am-6pm needs about 10mins walk(likely full on Friday nights due as it is nearer to city center).

I was worried initially as it's an unmanned hotel. But as soon as we arrived, all worries were gone. The check-in was super easy, the room is clean & complete, everything is well provided for. We love the Stay. Kids love the bunk beds. I don't remember seeing a lift there... only stairs, luckily our room is on the ground floor, if not it'll be a challenge to lug 4x 20kgs luggage to 2nd floor. The unit is spacious, bathroom is clean, and hot water is great. All toiletries, towels, kitchenware, detergent etc are provided in a clean and neat condition. Will definitely be back again.
Just a point to note that there's no dryer. The washing machine uses cold air to dry, so it will take long time to dry, not possible to dry your thick winter clothes. :)

We were very happy with the place we stayed in, for a week on our snowboard holidays. The room was big, spotlessly clean. Big bathroom with all the amenities. Handy to have a washing machine in the apartment and also a big closet for our luggage. Overall we really enjoyed the space and the place. Parking in front, few minutes walk to restaurants/bars, 7 eleven on the corner. Perfect location.

No frill and seamless check-in. Big clean comfortable fully functional room, almost like a studio apartment! Good location, 10 mins walk to shopping area.
Limited on premise car parks but not a deal breaker as overnight parking at asahikawa public car parks is cheaper than sapporo.

Spacious room. Quite surroundings. Laundry facilities inside the room and laundry liquid is provided. Easy self check-in.
There is only one non-stick pan for cooking. So you can't really cook properly here. Parking - do not expect to be able to reserve the parking space right outside the building. Even if you have reserved, since there is no staff around, your reserved parking spot can be taken up by someone else even though you have paid. Better to follow the instructions at check-in to park at a nearby paid car park.

clean and spacious room with a kitchen (but limited kitchen tools and dishware). check-in process was fully automated and super smooth. hugeness of the room was very worth it given the price.
the toilet was quite far removed from the shower. location was not that near the city centre so the neighbourhood was very quiet in the evening/night eith limited shops/restaurants surrounding.

New and spacious hotel! The room included a kitchen, walk in closet, separate toilet and bathroom and a large living space. Highly recommend for groups! The hotel is right next to a 7/11 and there are multiple paid parking lots near by (there are three parking spaces at the hotel but reservations required). Check in was easy and quick with a tablet that produced a room number and lock code. Check out was also similarly easy.
The hotel is a little bit of a distance away (15 min walk) from the man shopping street. But feels safe to walk around the area and it is a pleasant walk. Sounds from the corridor could be heard from inside the room but were not overly loud. Sensitive sleepers may have trouble though.
