Great little hotel - for the price I was not expecting much - but after a long delayed journey on the Bernina Express, we were welcomed warmly and professionally in the pleasant reception area. Five minute walk from train station. A lift for getting our heavy luggage up to the room was a relief. Room was small and basic, but we'd only booked for overnight, and it was perfectly adequate for that. The included breakfast was very extensive, in a spacious dining room. Staff were all professional and helpful. The price was the most affordable and value for money accommodation of our whole European trip!

The lighting in the room was a little dull, but being there for such a short time, it was not an issue.

Great value. Friendly staff. Comfy bed with extra pillows, and large towels. Daily fresh towels. Nice breakfast buffet. Underground parking for motos.

Only one electrical outlet in bedroom. Budget room was very cramped with tiny bathroom. Would get an upgraded room next time.

I did not have much time for breakfast and had to catch a special train (panoramic Bernina Express) at 8:00. So, I wanted to grab a few items from the buffet. I was warned by an angry staff member that it was only to eat in. That wasn't specified during check in. I was one person only and did not take more than one for one breakfast. It was very disappointing while everything else was so satisfactory.

We took the train to Tirano from lake Garda. We were looking for a hotel close to the station & the Bernina Express & Hotel Corona was perfect! Our room was clean & modern, bathroom was spacious & shower had plenty of hot water. Breakfast was plentiful & fresh. All in all it was a great stay. I wasn’t sure what to expect because the room was inexpensive compared to the rest of our vacation but we were pleasantly surprised. Would stay again!

Room was a little small & the bed was rather hard. But I wouldn’t let it stop me from returning if I’m in Tirano again.

Excellent location, clean and comfortable, staff was willing to help and resolve problem.

At checkin I was told I didn’t reserve the place that really made me nervous after a long day full of drama (train cancelled due to the floods). It turned out I was “checked in” before arriving such that the system couldn’t see me any more. The lady at front desk tried very hard to get me a room in their fully booked hotel, and finally find my reservation and issue resolved.

The location is definitely the highlight for anyone planning a Bernina trip to Switzerland. The hotel had everything we needed: clean, comfortable beds, dark rooms for a good night's sleep, and a clean bathroom stocked with wonderfully scented cosmetics. The staff at the reception were incredibly welcoming and helpful, especially when we had an issue with the WiFi. Overall, it was a fantastic stay!

Needs some renovation, but nevertheless clean and with a good location for train station. The towels are nice and clean, also the breakfast is sufficient. We liked the fact that you can cook your own eggs at the breakfast. Can recommend for a short stay.

Small shower cabin with scary doors. The whole bathroom feels small and old, but it is clean.

Location to the train station is excellent. Check in was perfect. Helpful and offered things I didn't know I needed, like breakfast, and free public transport ticket. The room is clean, modern, and we'll decorated. Bed is comfortable. Charging points at the desk really useful. Shower is powerful and delightful. It sure gets the travel stress off you at the end of the day.

I didn't know Switzerland was closed on Sundays 😁

Extremely clean, the room felt fresh. The view was unexpected in the morning. Close proximity to bars, restaurants and the train station. It is good value for money.

We paid 12 eur /p for breakfast, but it was very basic. Looked nice from the outside, but few options to eat. The walls are thin, and you could hear the neighbours changing channels on the tv.

Location great for train the next morning. Breakfast was surprisingly good. Cannot beat the price. The room might be dated but it is a fantastic deal.

Tiny bathroom but that’s what you get for the location. Room looks like it was last updated in 1965 but I don’t care because it’s a really good value for the Bernina Express.
